The COO that worked for Jet.com now runs walmart in the US, so stop with the crying sissies! Also if they are confirming with pictures of ID and CC and a electric bill, that is a good thing, it helps prevent CC fraud... morons! Lastly if they sell you something, the person on the phone is not at the jet warehouse and has no idea of the inventory, and so much is sold so fast, that an item you ordered might be out of stock when they get to your order, they then refund the money... So shut up! Oh P.S. jet doesn't take your money and then cancel an order, they hold the amount until identity is confirmed, just like any other company! All the people making horrible posts about this company are either ignorant, arrogant, or just plain old fashioned! I love jet.com, bet prices when the items are in stock! Broke people shouldn't order stuff if they can't deal with a possible refund or out of stock issue!
I must say. I'm a huge Amazon fan but I thought I'd give this site a try as they had some pretty good prices and i like to try and support small and new companies.
One item arrived damaged. The outside packaging was intact but the box itself looked like a truck ran over it. It appeared to have been opened and resealed as if it was a return and the item inside was damaged.
When I called Jet, they explained it was sent from a third party. I did end up speaking w/a supervisor who was willing to refund my money for the item. That was a good sign and I appreciated that they took responsibility w/o giving me a huge hassle.
I asked them to make sure they informed that company that sent the item about this issue so it wouldn't happen again.
They assured me they would. I hope they did.

Why would Liza Landsman make Political statement letter to Jet.com customers? There are Conservative customers who support the Presidents travel Ban and don't appreciate our online retailer getting into the political arena. Wouldn't you think the company would remain neutral? I ordered a pair of rain shoes from Jet. I was excited to receive the email that my order would arrive in 2-5 business days as I was going out of town and needed the shoes for the forecast weather. I did receive an item within this time frame, however, it was a SPATULA! WTH? I contacted the company to get the order right and to inform them that I needed the item within the next 2-3 business days and was told that I had a credit on my account but that I needed to reorder the item, doubling the price, and once I received the item the doubled price would be corrected to reflect the actual amount. Poor customer service hiding behind computers and not honest at all. Stay away from Jet!
Their descriptions of products are not what you get. They say free returns but they will only accept returns if you pay more for the item. They have a return price and a non return price and not everything is returnable. If they have to give you money back they only give it as a credit to your Jet Account, they will not credit the credit card you used to purchase. Their prices are not cheaper then other sites or stores... let the buyer beware.
Jet.com is a pretty good source for all kinds of items because often the prices are competitive, and some items are difficult to find elsewhere. HOWEVER, check in advance and carefully, ALL their terms and conditions such as returns. There is 30 days limit and in addition categories as to what is or is not returnable! Because of the nature of this company they will NOT take back any item -- be it untouched if considered not returnable. Also consider what they call "Free Return Waived". My criticism is about this company's DECEIVING presentation.
Ordered Oral B replacement toothbrushes for my electric toothbrush and Jet beat the best price $7 to $24. The price and the fact that it was the same product I saw in the local stores, made this one of my best on line purchases ever! ADavidP
I am immensely frustrated! I ordered a very expensive industrial shredder for our company, I received a confirmation email which was forwarded to our my accounting department, pending delivery. Two month go by (I kind of forgot about it) and not a single follow up. I reached out to Jet's customer service via web chat who assured me that someone will call back me with status a few minutes go by and I received an email from customer service telling me the order was canceled and I would be refunded.,. I then phoned customer service because we still needed the shredder. I was assured that someone would call, of course, no call back. Waited a couple of days and reordered the same shredder hoping it was an oversite Three weeks go by, and I received another refund, no explanation or apology! Be WARNED, they take your money, don't complete the order and unjustifiably cancel the order without explanation What a waste of my time!
Selected the item that I was looking for, went through the whole signup process, provided all my contact info, along with credit card, only to be informed the item was no longer available. Called customer service to complain, that why wasn't the item listed as discontinued before I jumped through all the hoops? Response was vague & unhelpful and would I like to waste more of my time in a survey... While I like competition to Alibaba & Amazon, Jet crashed on me!
So I just tried ordering some items from this site, and upon entering my debit card information it gave me an error. Tried it again. Another error. My boyfriend tries his card. Once again, error. I was never told my order was processed, all iyems are still in the cart. The next morning I get a call from my bank asking about fraudulent activity so I check my bank statements online. I was charged 17.26 twice and 27.60 twice. $89.72 was wrongfully deducted from my account, and nothing was purchased. Since my boyfriend only entered his information in once, he was only charged 17.26. As far as I'm concerned, they've stolen our money and deserve to be prosecuted as such.
Ordered a modem from Jet.com because it was $10 cheeper. I didn't need it right away so willing to wait. After the order was placed, Jet.com told me it would take 3 weeks to receive. I was a little upset but already committed. Two days before it was to be delivered, I received an email saying the item wasn't available and they were refunding my money. Went ahead and ordered from a real electronic company and the item was delivered in 2 days for $1 more then Jet.com. WOW, what was I thinking? Never again!
I placed order and they charged my bank also. Now when I see there is no order in my order history and items are back to shopping cart... strange! When I called customer care they say you have not placed order. My question to them was why did you charge my bank if I had not placed order she replied saying they do preauthorize some times...? Are you kidding me? I will never ever use this again...! I warned all my friends about this.
I have placed many orders on jet. Com. They have amazon beat-the more you order the cheaper the price. Free dshipping with 35.00 order. Next day or two day delivery awesome. The jetheads customer service is extra friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this site.
"Scammers"Just one word to say about these AH's period. Usually buy things from Amazon and 95% of the time really happy with their best service. This time tried to give some business to this new startup called J$#@!. OMG what a hole customer service. Placed the order in the night and next day morning saying its cancelled with no reason. Like others mentioned here Pure SCAM. This company needs to burn and die asap because its ran by some dishonest people with no integrity. Also don't ever use your credit card with them cause once you are done entering in to their site its there for ever even though they say you can delete it. As I have no plans to use this looters, I asked them to delete my account ASAP and they just disabled it with all my info in it. The so called CUSTOMER SERVICE is the WORST. Be careful dealing with these looters.
I bought a 6 slice oven from Jet.com. It came with one knob heating up burning my fingers. Contacted them and got Emeli and a few other reps. She was fast to send me a return label for the refund. I told her I can't carry the box downstairs nor drive to the Fedex location as it is wider than me and weight at least 1/2 of my weight. I had help the first time. However I am willing to ask for help if I return and get a replacement because I threw away my old tiny one when I got this big one. Nope, all she did was send me a link to the closest drop off location and ignored me. Since then I had to contact the maker, Rosewill who is willing to do a replacement for me but Jet was happy they no longer have to deal with sending me a defective oven.
I just begin looking at the jet website for the last 2 days I have not seen a price that beats Walmart! Everything I've looked at including toilet paper laundry detergent is all $2 cheaper at Walmart I'm not understanding where all this savings is with jet?
I purchase for the first time 2 items from Jet.com. The first one they ship the wrong product, the second item was supposed to receive 10 boxes of the Vega bards, they ship only one box. They stated that was an error on the add therefore they ask me to ship the item back to refund the funds.
THEY INITIALLY CHARGE TWICE THE AMOUNT OF YOUR PURCHASE! I purchased pet food for a total of 177.39, using my debit card. They deducted 177.39. Then they stated deducting smaller amounts so that I ended up paying 376.69. I was told they do that because entire order ships in multiple shipments, and that after everything has shipped (7-14 days), I will be credited 177.39. Even if this was acceptable to me, I would have ended up paying 199.31 for my 177.39 order! I can't even believe this is legal! Jet.com also went on to tell me they don't issue refunds and I'd have to contact my financial institution (You bet I did!), that Amazon does business in this fashion, as well (NO WAY!) and that I agreed to these terms when I clicked PURCHASE. I'm still looking for where these 'terms' are posted on their site. JET.COM IS BANKING YOUR MONEY, PEOPLE! :(
I have made a mistake with my address and couldnt correct it in their 30 minute window. All they told me is nothing they can do because it is their policy, they further insulting me by saying it shojld have been my job to check the address and it is my right to not shop with them again. Hello? Do they know amazons system is so much bette than them and the least they can do is to pretend to help and not insulting their customers? For your own dignity please dont try to save $0.25 and shop there.
I thought I would check the site out after seeing the commercials on TV. I checked the merchandise and wasn't wowed by the "competitive" prices, so thought I would check out the reviews. Any company that doesn't think bad business as described in these reviews isn't relayed in social media and spreads like wildfire doesn't deserve to be in business long. I don't base all if my decision on a few bad reviews, but statistically speaking this site ranks low. Thanks to all of you who posted your experiences with customer service. I will stick with Amazon.
