Was very satisfied with the lady helping me and very polite. I wish more people like her were around to help answer questions and explain all details. Thank you for hiring people that know how to take care of customers.
This company is terrible, their power chairs are garbage. My chair had to be serviced constantly. Their parts don't, they put, garbage parts in my chair. It takes forever for them to get the parts and left me non mobile for almost 2 months. Their customer service reps are rude and nasty. The technician Mike, was not friendly, always came with major attitude, when coming to fix my chair. Avoid this company at all costs. I'm do for a new chair, and have taken my business to a new company. Customer service people are nice, they had my chair approved within a week, I'm waiting on delivery now! Now, it's how it should be…..
My Mom (Helen Marks) got her Hoveround and it is wonderful! I can't tell you how impressed I am with your company. I made a simple phone call to inquire about the chair; I was told that Hoveround would take care of Medicare and her Blue Cross supplemental insurance. Literally the only thing we had to do was wait for it to be delivered. The delivery person was excellent, kind and patient. Thank you so much for everything!
I'd say their service is horrible but when they never respond to emails maybe it's really non-existent. I've called and was put on hold, after 18 minutes I hung up. I've emailed twice (using the address on their website) over the past two weeks and no response. And this is when I want to buy something. I've moved on to something else.

The hoverround was easy to get accustomed to because I already had experience with a motorized wheelchair.

Impressed with the people I dealt with on the phone - polite, obliging, and knowledgeable. I followed their direction and moved swiftly with my doctor to hopefully secure the scooter which he recommended. A month has now passed, and I've never heard from your company again!?! An update would surely be appreciated, or have I fallen through the cracks?

Spoke with Hoover round representative about updating my scooter as it just turned five years. Advise that was to have a Mobility exam done with the doctor. Advise will fax out exam form to doctor for him to fill out. Doctor has not received any paperwork from representative or Hoveround. Just cost me one doctor's visit plus I'll have to pay for another when he gets the paperwork. Trying to contact representative on Monday morning on hold so far 18 minutes
I order two accessories for a friend two months ago, but the items never shipped. I called Hoveround support three times, and got the royal runaround, no answers, no help. Instead, they just keep promising the items are on their way. But what's more irritating is they charged my credit card immediately on ordering and did not advise me that the items I ordered were not available. They should change the name of this company from Hoveround to Runaround.

The young man who delivered my new chariot was very informative! This new chariot is a dream, and I can now move around much better. Looking into getting me a cage that hooks onto my car, so I can take over to my daughter's house on holidays. I'M FREE!
I received my hoveround scooter in 2005 and it's the best. They replaced wheels & batteries when needed. I'm very happy with it and the people that helped me, and I'm hopefully getting a new one soon.
In months charger went bad. Told will send replacement right away. Just informed needed drs. Approval for what? It's a bad charger. Their product didn't hold up. Rude customer service and still no charger. Will not recommend!
Hoveround took very good care of me. They met all my needs immediately. I called them and in just a few days they had my problem solved. I'll never use another company for my electric wheelchair needs.
Worst company I have ever had to deal with 11 months still no chair same two answers Everytime I call so called customer service 1. Still waiting on papers work from you pcp 2. Got paper work will call you in a few days with final shipping info, 2 weeks later I call them back to item 1 and so forth 11 months what a joke this two bit outfit is, I'll buy a used chair screw hoveround!

Well it all started when I received a letter from Hoveround informing me that I may be eligible for a new Hoveround Chair. Although we've just started the process. I'm very excited and grateful that Hoveround is there for me.

I find it difficult to steer straight without running into walls and open doors. Why did you place the pouch on the right side when I specifically said I was left-handed. The joystick, if possible, should be placed before the "On" & "Off" button to avoid getting clothing caught on the joystick.
The seat is very comfortable.
I had an excellent experience with the Hoveround Company. They sent a letter to my Doctor that he filled out. When Medicare approved the purchase they called and delivered within a week. Kris the customer service representative was a jewel. Very helpful and knowledgeable.
Praying it all goes thru and I fully qualify. Thankyou! The pain I feel in legs get worse as I walk. Long periods of standing also get my ankles to swell. This mobility device helps many. I believe it will help me too. Thankyou!

I tried to get a power chair for my elderly mother and after 1 month it still looked like it would take 3 weeks. So I asked if I could simply pay for it up front and get reimbursed through Medicare. They told me "NO". I then called Medicare to find out they lied to me. Medicare will reimburse 80% with a doctor's prescription. They are a horrible company to do business with. I ended up getting a better model at half the price.
Answer: So sorry to hear that. I am no longer living with my father-in-law, but I can add to my earlier review and comments. The company did exactly the same thing to him, again. A year later. They got in touch to say that Medicare had accepted their appeal and that the chair was now finally his, and they sent a guy round with the paperwork for signature and everything looked great. It subsequently turned out that Medicare hadn't approved anything and didn't know anything at all about the appeal, and that they were not going to pay. The story that Hoveround gave me was smoke and mirrors and back came the bill for the chair again. As far as I know, a year and a half on, the chair is still not officially his. I probably won't hear anything more about it now, but I'm quite glad I don't have to deal with these people yet again.

Answer: Yes, if doctor can prove medically necessary. Doctor must make file notes to support and you must have an office visit that only addresses the need for your chair.
