I called you guys spoke to a very rude agent that wouldn't let me talk to ask if my reservation was able to be cancelled he said yes...but as he tried to cancel it did not go thru so I was stuck with it and I was fine with that. I get to the hotel and my reservation is CANCELED. Luckily my son still had his or I would have taken a 4 hour drive for nothing. I call and speak to the same RUDE agent that continues to think he's correct about everything and won't let me talk plus I can't understand A WORD he's saying(FOREIGN AGENT) and told him what happen that I wasn't the one that canceled but he refused to listen or believe me until I told him what I previously mentioned and that he was the one I spoke to originally...at that moment he put me on hold and came back saying I would get a full refund...WHERE IS MY REFUND!?⁰2÷

Unfortunately, I have to report that I experienced a terrible situation with this hotel booking site. Initially, I received my hotel booking confirmation email and checked into my hotel for a 2 night stay. 4 hours after checking in, I received a phone call from a Hotelwiz.com representative telling me that my credit card was declined and then she pressured me on the phone to re-pay for my hotel stay. After my refusal, the representative hung up and then called the hotel to request that they cancel my stay. The hotel refused the request. The next morning, I received another email confirmation for my hotel stating that I was being charged double the amount! Before contacting my credit card company to dispute the double charge, I called Hotelwiz to dispute the bill and spoke with a customer service representative that was no help at all! This led me to contact my credit card company that will be handling the dispute. I did make a 2nd call to Hotelwiz and spoke to a 2nd representative who was more professional in listening and handling the situation. However, this was a terrible experience from the start. I travel extensively and have never had a situation like this happen!
Good experience, easy to follow site, but was told I would not be charged for my booking until my stay and I was charged the day I completed the booking.
Booked a reservation for May 2024 on December 26. Canceled on December 26 and Hotelwiz has not refunded my credit card.

The site was easy to navigate. I put in my destination in the search and poof up came listings and pricing and I went with the cheapest. Tada hotelwiz it was!
