Using the trial version of various upscalers, HitPaw was by far the most straightforward to use. It has quite a few options (upscale with varying degrees of quality, focus on facial improvement, frame interpolation for smoother video), and yet it doesn't overwhelm you with settings that mean next to nothing to the average person. The results are quite impressive. Also, since I've had the product (~5 months) they have come up with several new models. Not all are of use to me, but it demonstrates that they continually innovate and improve the product.

I purchased Hitpaw Fotorpea with advertised 30% discount code, order was processed without opportunity to submit the code. Reached out to Hitpaw and they said pretty much it's my fault. No refund. Then without warning, I get notice that I'm about to be billed for the Video enhancer, which I never use. Crazy... Sorry, I even visited their website.

I needed to remove a watermark from a video I'd previously created and decided to try their product. Unfortunately, there seems to be a glitch because I uploaded my video and clicked on the edit button but the gears kept turning and NOTHING happened after an hour of waiting. I tried the process two more times before giving up and contacting customer support to ask for a refund. First - they take FOREVER to respond. Second - their stance was immediately defensive and they kept telling me that their product works fine. WEEKS later, after several attempts to get a refund, they are now asking me to send them some kind of log so they can assess the issue. They should have asked me for this when I first wrote and now that so much time has gone by, I do not have access to their product anymore and I'm not about to go through the entire process again. This has been a huge waste of my time, a huge headache, and I would never use a product from a company that a) provides horrible customer support and b) doesn't stand behind their product 100%. A $35 refund should be a no-brainer for a reputable company. These people are awful.

I am trying to cancel my subscription but hitpaw makes it impossible! I tried to do it manually but their system would not recognise my order. Number, the number which is in my invoice. I kept running in circles for an hour trying all ways to cancel my monthly subscription but they wouldn't let me do it. And there is. No email to contact, just. One of those forms that. Nobody ever replies to.

I purchased the Watermark Remover and it kept leaving a terrible blur where text was suppose to be removed. In addition, the loading time is incredibly long, no reason to be so long to load. I was unsatisfied with the glitch software and the company did not honor their 30 day refund policy as they advertised.

They are totally ignorning my refund request after I declined a lifetime subscription to satisfy me. I found a daily limitation in background removal (99 images a day) that was not discoverable in the trial version and was not advertised. This doesn't fit my workflow and I asked for a refund. They offered a lifetime subscription which I declined and they have not returned emails since.
Avoid this company.

I typically do not write bad reviews unless all avenues and opportunities for resolution are utilized. I did the professional route of contacting them directly in regard to the issues I was having. After purchase (WHICH btw is the only way to really test the product) I was noticing it was taking SEVERAL hours to convert less than 10% of a 1 min video. I mentioned that as well as how the final product took over 12 hrs to complete, in which the quality was horrible. After 4 email exchanges, they still refused to provide a full refund. So, I am here to protect those consumers who decide to take a chance on a product with their hard-earned money to only be thoroughly disappointed.

This is a cheating company, I bought the product above to try to enhance a Ring video, but it did nothing, no change in quality, unable to identify the person, you will never differentiate between the original and the enhanced. In the trial period, they offered 30% off a product that I paid $99 for and it did not work, we went back a forward, and they never offered a full refund. Please don't waste your money or your time. The video enhancer seemed useful so I purchased it. However, I tried multiple settings and, while it did change the video, it definitely did not improve it. Be warned, it just makes the videos look extremely artificial. I asked for a refund and ended up going back-and-forth where HitPaw tried everything but give me a refund. I eventually managed to get 50% back from them. What a complete waste of money. You can see why they don't want to give a full free trial version - nobody would buy it! BE WARNED!

Purchased this software based on the reviews I read - the Photo Enhancer, PC version. The software repeatedly crashed on me. I contacted supported and asked for my money back due to the 30-day Refund Guarantee that they show on the check-out page. 3 weeks later, and over 5-6 emails and it still has not been refunded. Small print says it has to be due to technical issues. Sent them logs, email descriptions, etc. and still no refund. Buyer Beware!

I purchased a life time licence for hitpaw as I download current videos often for my leadership preparation courses for future leaders. When I had to upgrade my device I was informed that it was not possible for any upgrades but if I gave a 5 star review they would send me a new licence. This is dishonest, non practical and an unethical way to do business. I will not be using them again. This very review asks me to confirm that I was in no way offered an incentive to write this review, I was very much offered an incentive to write a 5 star one, I hope the real one shows others what will happen unless your current device lasts forever.
