Glyde is fantastic, I sold my perfect iPhone in 2 days and Glyde does it all for you. Also sold a cracked iPhone in one day. This is a great, no hassle site that does it all.
Didn't like it at all took forever to get my money and will never use this company again!
I have used Glyde twice and I have not had any problems. The website is very easy to use and you get more for your devices then you would using Gazelle.
Really nice, easy to use site for selling devices. I will definitely use Glyde again!
Sold pretty fast, payment was received in about 1 week, give or take a couple days
If there is a way to give negative stars, I would. I no longer have my phone, I've not received my phone back, there is nothing to indicate I will be getting my phone back, but they certainly took the money I earned away from me. So, I have no money and no phone. This was a terrible experience.
Horrible experience. Glyde just ignores the buyer after they got payment. Did not respond to emails and have no listed telephone contact. I have tried to cancel the order and still do not know the status of the order or cancellation! Totally frustrating to deal with businesses which offer no degree of customer support (unless you consider computer generated emails support) or customer service. I certainly will not be dealing with Glyde again!
I purchased a refurbished Samsung phone through Glyde for use on Ting. The phone that arrived was close to mint condition in appearance, but it failed to activate with Ting despite working with Ting customer service for about two hours over two successive days. Ting advised that the phone was probably rooted or had other OS modifications that made it inoperable with Ting.
Glyde customer service indicated by email that a replacement could be shipped from the seller as soon as my returned device was delivered. Then another email said the seller had no replacements available.
Basically I've wasted a minimum of two weeks on the Glyde purchase before I'll get refunded, I have no phone because my previously-existing cell phone lost service as soon as I tried to activate the refurbished phone with a ported number, and it will take at least a week to receive another phone purchased through another retailer.
The gist of my email discussions with Glyde customer service: Glyde assumes no responsibility for whether a phone it brokers will function on a particular cellular provider's network.
Buyers should also be aware that free shipping on returns applies only to the first return; buyers must pay half of the shipping charges on subsequent returns.
Glyde made it so easy to sell my phone, and I knew I was getting a fair price. The whole process was simple and hassle-free, and their customer service was top notch. I recommend them to all my friends and would use them again in a heartbeat.
Beyond easy to search for your item and choose a price. I loved the packaging sent directly to me! Seriously, I did a "glyde commercial" for everyone at work because I was so excited about the whole concept. Thanks :)
Glyde is a great service in theory, but extremely slow customer support makes dealing with a seller problem very hard, time consuming, and frustrating. Taking additional steps, like allowing pictures of the phone - even if is just for Glyde to review, would help improve quality. Also, their description of "excellent" vs "good" can be rather subjective. Finally: It is taking weeks to resolve a problem with a seller who sent a poor condition phone with the wrong capacity. I ordered a 32GB excellent condition phone and received a 16GB very poor condition one (several dents; lots of scratches). While the problem is being addressed - it is extremely slow. Glyde should provide phone support when cases take more then a couple days to resolve. I think it would help a lot.
Sold my iPhone 5s within a week of posting, totally painless and money was received the following week. Great service!
I have only had one transaction so far with Glyde, and it is completely positive. Although the device I received from them was defective, I didn't realize it until 3 days after I had received it. They agreed to make an exception to their 48 hour term, and accepted it back. I will use them to get my next (hopefully non-defective) phone.
$#*!ing horrible. They have no number to call, and they will NOT answer emails. My account has been on hold for three weeks and I am still without a damned response to my emails explaining to these idiots why there is no problem. Hell, a 3 minute phone call to my bank would fix this if they would actually do something.
I had an infuriating experience with Glyde.com. I tried to order an iPad, but soon after placing the order, CS contacted me saying there was an issue with my credit card and I needed to verify the information. I verified the information and got no response from them. I emailed them to inquire about the status of my order and got no response. I checked the order page and saw the transaction had been cancelled. When I emailed them to ask why, I got no response. Maybe they're easier to deal with from the seller side but needless to say I will not try to buy through them again.
Sale went through just as described! Shipping Kit was great and simple and I received payment quickly through the auto deposit.
Thanks!
This was my first experience dealing with Glyde and the transaction was completely positive.
I purchased a smart phone. Did have to consult "Customer Service" to answer some questions I had. The Customer Service rep. Answered my email request almost immediately and gave prompt, courteous action to my concerns.
My phone arrived in "Excellent" condition (as promised).
5 stars... I have already sent my 2nd order for another product.
Would highly recommend this company.
I tried to order an iphone on line. Unfortunately unbeknownst to me, the credit card company had put my card on hold becuase I had just come back from Hawaii so there was a lot of what they thought were fraudulent charges. So my card was declined. I put in another card which was valid but Glyde reversed my transaction, put my account on hold and never got back to me. I emailed repeatedly to try and find out if I can proceed with my transaction and nobody ever got back to me. I don't think that's a good indication of their customer service, I bought my phone elsewhere. I am very disappointed.
I received my I phone 4s and yes it looked as described in good condition. Apart from the charging cable was faulty. However after only two weeks I noticed I could not get wi fi. So I took if to the apple store for a diagnostic where I was told the wi if chip is not working. Very disappointing! Afraid I will not be recommending glyde to any one :(
Answer: Glyde is a great companyi did have a bad experence with a purchase but glyde sent out a return label on them and i was credited really quick. When dealing with companies on the internet i use my amazon or my paypal so that way its not hlding up my personal account. At any rate my issue was the person that sold me the phone had sent me a phone that was originally a sprint phone but flashed to cricket carrier when i tried to switch it to sprint they werent able to program the phone and i was already a customer only they couldnt figure out why. When we were programming the phone it showed the name cricket as we completed a reset of the system. So most people these days they jailbreak phones or flash maybe another work at any rate your covered regardless but i would recommend
