Gotta give kudos to the staff of gainesville coins. Nate was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the differences between a few coins I was interested in buying. I settled on some proof silver coins and purchased using a credit card and the coins arrived on time and in good order. I am very pleased with the condition of the coins. They each arrived in plastic capsules and the proof finish really makes the design pop.

Gainesville Coins is one of my favorite stores to buy my valuables, they have great prices. Deliveries arrive just on time, they are very responsible and kind to the customer, I have used their services many times and I will continue to use them, I recommend them.

This is an updated review... so after waiting for a ridiculous amount of time (3 months after check cleared and product was verified in stock) I received my order... VERY happy with product, very unhappy with delivery and update info from customer service... phone messages not returned, email inquiries not followed up... but the products were finally delivered...

I ordered form these guys in the past with no issues. They have apparently had hard times and as all the recent reviews show now they take your money and never ship your product. I am over nine weeks on a 700$ order. All the excuses in the book but just like all the others no silver. Just filed a police report. Stay away these guys are either on their way out of business or just straight out crooks.

They have pathetic customer care. Order something from here & forget about it. Their shipment delays are a nightmare. Even after 1 month of my order, they could not tell me when the order will be shipped. It is like an indefinite delay. There is no communication on the delay, or for your order until you call them. I experienced the same thing, & customer rep said they cannot check anything, & tell when it will shipped, as they do not have access. So in short, order something & forget about it.

I am a small time collector and have used several online sites for buying precious metals and Gainsville Coins is the one I use the most. They have the best prices consistently, even with the mark up for credit card purchases. They have always shipped promptly or indicated that there would be a delay when I submit my order. The packaging is bomb proof and indiscreet. I did call to talk to a sales rep. Once and probably won't be doing that again since she seemed annoyed with me and was not friendly or even very helpful. Customer service could use some work.

I have never dealt with a company this blatantly dishonest. Absolutely disgraceful. They take your money and then don't ship anything. Call after call after call. Endless empty promises and lies. Changing delivery dates. No access to management. No access to the nebulous "shipping department". Then, they have the audacity to offer to refund 95% of your money for a "cancelled order" weeks or months after a promised deliver date. "Buying" form them amounts to making an interest-free loan to them for the pleasure of weeks of frustration and deceit and apparently, if your lucky, you get 95% of your money back. I would NEVER do business with this company again and I HIGHLY recommend that you do not make the same mistake I have.

They published a price on their site which was unbelievably low. Then they called to ask me to pay the difference between the price I ordered at, and the real price. When I didn't agree, they blacklisted me, and wouldn't allow me to order from them again! Beware of this company!

I ordered some silver coins from Gainesville coin. There website did not say my items where out of stock. I got an email saying that there would be a delay in shipping. After the day the email said my order was to be shipped. I called gainesville coin and asked where my coins where and was told there was a delay in shippment until mid November. At that point I said cancel my order. Seven days latter I checked and my refund has not been made. I do not advise buying from this company. They are selling items not in stock and using you money.

No where did it say or did anyone i had contact with say it would take over a month to ship. Prices of metals change way faster. Lost a lot of money In The wait I again was never Informed of. Placed an order from competitor and recieved the coins placed 2nd order and recieved the coins, all while still waiting just to ship! Beware.
