My husband, a finish carpenter, needed a new pad for his Porter Cable sander. He had looked at all the stores and could not find one. I looked on the Porter Cable website which led me to Fix.com. In no time at all, my carpenter had a new OEM pad for his sander and he could get back to his project. He is highly satisfied with the replacement part and happy to use the sander which has been so integral to his job.
When I mistakenly ordered the wrong part the support agent personally helped me find the right one. He spent several minutes going over the parts diagram and made sure that was the right one and set it up so I could send the wrong one back to them. I wouldn't hesitate to utilize their services again.
I ordered some small gears for a table saw. New parts were metal where the ones that had broke in the saw were plastic. Very Satisfied with purchase, would order again.
I ordered a part on February 11, and was told that I would have it in 2 weeks. I called 3 weeks ago and they told me it was on its way to be shipped to me. Called again and they said it Might be here in 2 weeks, but no promises. I canceled my order. It's been almost 3 months and I've just been getting the runaround.
We had a high end blender with a crack in it. I emailed Fix.com several times to make sure we got the right part and they always answered promptly. We quickly got the parts and ended up not having to buy a new blender. Would definitely use them again.
This is the same company, or at least now occupies the exact building, as ereplacementparts.com. So why the price difference?
Well the title of the review pretty much says it all. It was most welcome, simple to install, and got there quickly AND WHEN IT SAID IT WOULD.
Ordered a special order item about 2 months ago. Needed it right away. Never came and no communication from Fix. Com. Contacted via Paypal. Said still wanted it. No communication still. They finally issued a refund via PayPal. I ordered from PartsDirect in under 10 minutes & interested to see how long it takes.
Don't expect to order anything else thru Fix.com- don't have time to chase rabbits!

They have thousands of parts for all types appliances and look up by model number is foolproof. You can look up by what problem you are having. It brings up a list, by percentage, as to what part fixed your problem according to previous purchases. We had a washer issue, 85% with our problem needed a certain part which we bought and which solved our issue. MUCH cheaper that buying a new washer and the part was here the next day. Unsure of how to install? They have how to videos as well. We have used this site many many times for washers, dishwashers, refrigerator and stoves. Love this site!
I found fix online and it seemed to be the exact site I was looking for. I entered my dishwasher's model number and was shown a diagram to choose the part I needed and I ordered the parts. I got a box quickly but as quickly realized they sent me the wrong parts. Also, they appeared to just dump the parts in a box and then sent the box to me.
So I called the customer service number, explained the parts were wrong and they said they needed to make a claim with their warehouse. A half dozen emails later they simply stopped emailing. I waited nearly two weeks and called again. Now they said I need to wait two more weeks for the warehouse to decide if they want the parts returned. Until they decide I don't get my refund.
I would choose another site simply because they can't put customers first and if you need to return a part you better saddle up for at least a month of hassles. Not worth it.
I have purchased twice on Fix and was very happy. First time to replace my vegetable drawer in my refrigerator. It was a perfect fit. Second time, to replace the vent above my microwave. Also perfect fit. The descriptions online are spot on. The part was shipped out quickly. Great company.

Dont use Fix.com Super pricy and slow as snail $#*!. Bought two small screws for a lawn mower charged $10. Shipping for A 3 ounce package. Took them over 3 weeks to get my shipment out
The choke lever fell off of my Shindaiwa P231 polesaw and was lost. I could not tell what it looked like or how it was supposed to function. Went to Fix.Com ordered a $5.99 part from their pictured part list and recevied it a couple days later by snail mail. It fit perfectly with no alterations fudging or manuvering. Saw back in operation with one of the easiest repairs ever. Thanks Fix.com
We were on the hunt for replacement cast iron grates for our Whirlpool gas range. My range (for SOME reason) is missing the sticker with our model number. I searched online for what seemed like weeks... and could not find a photo of the parts I needed (since I was missing the model number, I definitely needed a photo of the range and proper grates). I finally found a photo of the range/parts/assembly on fix.com and promptly ordered the grates. They arrived in TWO BUSINESS DAYS... but unfortunately, they arrived damaged. I notified fix.com of the damage and they promptly refunded my money and they did not require me return the damaged set! I was SO happy not to have to deal with that hassle! I ordered another set and that set ALSO arrived in two business days. I was SO impressed with the speed of shipping and the customer service... I highly recommend fix.com for any replacement parts you might need!

Answer: It's legit, got exactly what I ordered. No BS, I ordered an ignition coil for a 125,000 btu mr. Heater salamander. It was $40 cheaper than Amazon, shipping took a little longer than I'd have liked, but overall good experience
