Tried well over 5 times to order a car within the last month and customer service reps keep giving the run around and contradicting themselves. They don't return phone calls like they're supposed to and there is never a supervisor to speak to on duty. Each rep acts like they have no idea what they're doing!\\\And have inventory of cars that are not available.\\\
It took about three weeks to find out I couldn't apply. They needed a proof of address... so I sent my PO Box proof of address (in a bill statement) and waited for days... I contacted them twice before the response of decline. Since I get all my mail at my PO Box they won't receive that. They need a physical address. And proof of it in some utilities

I gave this fair location 5 stars due to the customer service that was given to me by Fred. He was very helpful and patient with the skills of multi tasking but getting all questions comments and concerns at the same time. First thing they ask is for your phone number to even use the app. If anyone's ever bought a car before the last thing you want to do is give a bunch of car dealers your phone number you will get 1000 calls a day from just looking at a car stupid app don't waste your time.
I've been having really mixed experience using Fair. If you're interested in my experience expecting to get the car before 4pm and try it out because Fair claimed I can pick up the car once I got there. However the dealer told me that they forgot to bring the car for smog check so they had to do that first. When I got the car it was after 6pm. And when I drove it back home on highway I found that when the car reach to speed 60+ mph it shakes so hard like a washing machine and it's not safe to drive. I tried to call Fair customer service on that day for a refund. I tried for an hour but no one answered me. Then I called on the second day

Worst experience ever. Bank charged twice for cars. $800 Not refunded for over a month. Gone to their dealership 3 times and zero cars there. Still haven't resolved or helped getting me a car. The part that is very bad and/or illegal is they charge you immediately for a weekly rental and you believe you have a reservation and you actually do not. False advertising. The app says 1-6 cars available and their dealership has zero. The multiple managers on the phone and in person have done nothing to help. All I want is a car so I can work again for Uber... which is all they promised after reserving a car and still 6 weeks later have not done. I except a real resolution... not the run around. Filed a complaint with better business bureau to make them and everyone else aware of how unbelievably stressful and frustrating this company and experience has been. The Only nice thing they did was say my first week will be free of charge and sent a $100 gift card. But I'm still CARLESS! And this is completely UNFAIR to do to me and many customers who rely on and need a car for work and to survive in Los Angeles. I still have hope that Fair will fix this problem... by sending me a car... to my home... for all the stress and headaches... instead of pretending us customers have a reservation when In fact they don't have cars... that's the right thing to do now... the fair thing!

Charged $400 without receiving a vehicle there are no vehicles available anywhere within 300 miles of San Diego. Why charge someone without providing anything?
I paid the deposit and I paid for the whole week and then I called ask what kind of car they going to give me no one can answer my question and they were all forcing me to drive all the way to something where far away from me location almost One hour and20 minutes to get a car I don't know What car I'm getting and I asked to cancel my reservation and get my money back technically you will get your money back after 10 business days that's ridiculous so you guys don't waste your time these people they're not professional and they won't will help you the only thing they want to take your money that's all.
