Fair offers a ton of potential. They do a lot of things great about making the whole procees seamless. It really is easy to get a vehicle. Aaaaand that's about it. Trying to contact their customer care team is such a disgusting and tedious task. Literally no one picks up the phone. Their email service takes days for a response. My Fair vehicle started leaking and I needed to get this figured out immediately to ensure no long term damage but trying to contact the team to initiate the benefits they offer is impossible. It is genuinely the most awful experience I've had trying to utilize their services. If they offer so many great perks
I was told that I needed to verify state of residency do to having a out of state license. I submitted that info via chat that is set up on the app. The reps do respond promptly however I was told after I sent the info that I was going to be transferred over to another rep
I have a leased car from fair app and i got a notification to upgrade my app and i did so. Upon upgrading the app to latest version it is crashing the moment i try to open it. I am using iphone 6 with ios 10. 3. 3 Please fix this issue as i am unable to check my documents on fair app due this app crashing issue
Such as your phone number and drivers license even before you get to look at any cars and before you decide if you want to buy anything. I am interested in seeing what's available but I don't want to share all this personal/sensitive information before I decide on a purchase. Uninstalling.
Hey I mean it's good way to help out someone anyone anybody with the right intentions. But can't help those with a low or bad credit. I work with Uber I'm trying to get a car again to be back on the road and I really got shot down because of my credit. It is great this app is designed for both personal and rideshare use but it's not a helping hand to make you start again or fair enough to let everyone get a opportunity (bad credit) to try the platform. I mean at the end of the day both ends of the party is going to get money. Doesn't that sounds fair enough?
I think fair is definitely deceiving their customers they say it's not a loan and that it's not a rental I think it is you don't get a new car you get used cars and everyone you want to get a different car you have to pay a $500 fee that adds up you can just get a better car at a cheaper price this app is horrible
First time i used Fair (for Uber)...(San Bruno only 3 makes from which to choose and the total vehicle count was one-third of the 27 boasted. At arrival the correct office i needed to go to was not only difficult to locate on top of that it was unattended for quite some time before a guy finally came by. When it came time to sign contract he informed me it might take up to 24 hrs for the vehicle to show up on my Uber account. WHATTTTT.? In my experience with another company the car was on my uber account sooner than i walked out with the keys to go drive the car. Then the car did not show up for quite some days later and when it was there
First car- I go to pick up a Dodge Charger. The car had four worn out tires. It was so bad I refused to drive the vehicle off the lot. I received a refund a week later but the damage to my credit score was done. Second car- I ordered a Passat and three days later they tell me it's not available. Third car- I canceled the order since I found a better option. Fourth Car- Camry-two day wait
The worst customer service. They won't even get back with me to accept my money lol smh I have contacted them 4x and they send you through a automatic loop with a chat person who can't help and a email that never responds. Lord help whoever has a real issue with these guys with a car smh
The concept of the business is great. Purchasing process super simple. They took my money and it allll went down hill from there. I was bounced around in the chat from 10am till 6pm with literally 4 different reps and no one could give me an answer when I was going to be able to get my car. They told me we have to wait for the money to transfer. I called the dealership and they said they had the money. So Fair lied to me. Great. Their post purchase "process" is horrendous. It's like they're figuring it out along the way. If it's this bad 2 days in - what's it going to be like once I get the car?! How am I going to be able to communicate with them if there's a problem or if I have a question?! I asked for a credit of my deposit for all the trouble they've caused and I got a response
I got a 2019 Totota Corolla LE for very low price without any hassle. The best part was the bundled comprehensive insurance for half the price that others offered. Even maintenance is covered by FAIR once every few months/miles. I would surely refer my friends to FAIR.
The process to getting a vehicle is so much quicker and smoother than Hertz... David from the Lawndale location was very helpful and explained how the payment process works... and I definitely prefer this method compared to Hertz... will update
Many companies are judged on whether they deliver service with a smile and if the service is decent. I judge companies on how well they address things when they go astray. Enter Matt Dowley. The dealership completely dropped the ball and their obligations to FAIR. FAIR could have easily said it was beyond their control. But Matt Dowley did not. Matt went above and beyond making sure I got to work and was not in an unsafe vehicle. He worked tirelessly and is still rectifying the situation. FAIR is in good hands because people like Matt exist and he is the reason why I have faith in FAIR. Thanks for being decent in an era of passing the buck and making excuses Matt. Faith in humanity restored.
Costumer since the dawn of the company. Read my story here. My executive summary: Stay away if you can. Their lack of service and level of incompetence will frustrate you. Update 07/10/2018 I decided to return my vehicle. The return of the car was fast and uncomplicated and everything went smooth. Now
I did purchase a uber car and the way i received the car was horrible all dirty everywhere inside and outside i have to pay $213 dollar for tge cleaning and they only giving me $100 dollar and i will be paying $212.64 weekly for a car for 2014 so i should be trick better than that because for what i pay now i can get a 2019 car
The ads for this app makes it look like they're financing car loans. These are just long term rentals at competitive prices. Would you pay $260/month for a 2016 Chevy Cruze with 38k miles in 2018? I probably would. I get bored of cars I've rented from hertz within 2 days and they're much more expensive. This is app is like Car2Go when they were still in San Diego but with slightly more practical yet less desirable cars. 4/5 That's for being confusing with your ads.
I had a similar experience with the whole "car being sold" situation. I signed paperwork and paid my downpayment. A few hours later I happened to catch a notification stating my transaction had been canceled-that flashed across the screen of my phone but was not stored anywhere in the fair app. Fair did offer to waive my starting pay cost and refund my original downpayment
I gave this fair location 5 stars due to the customer service that was given to me by Fred. He was very helpful and patient with the skills of multi tasking but getting all questions comments and concerns at the same time. I appreciate the hard word he puts in and the quality of work that was given to me.
The treatment and running around has been so unfair. Tried to give the car back within the 3 days of receipt. However if they do not want the vehicle back? No one from FAIR or STG auto cares about the unfair treatment or the fact that the vehicle was falsely advertised and had even contacted the dealership prior to going to verify the vehicle before driving 90 minutes to garden grove to pick up a car that is not what is advertised. However FAIR did not care about the blatant unfair treatment or to rectify the situation and just prolonged me having to keep the car who's battery has already been needed to be jumpstarted and eats gas like nothing else I have ever seen. I have gone to better business bureau on STG auto and will be going to bbb on FAIR too. I guarantee you I am not the only one out there with the same unfair treatment. Give me money back or switch out the car. Until this is rectified beware of FAIR."
Horrible app. They collect personal vital information from you and then offer NO cars at all in Connecticut and then refuse to delete the information after you contact them. Very scetchy app and poor customer service
Fair has a rating of 2.8 stars from 848 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Fair most frequently mention phone number, worst experience and credit check. Fair ranks 55th among Autos sites.
