It's not fair that you don't get a free trial. Especially if the pictures are blurry and you can't see them until you start a subscription. I've been a member since June and I am still waiting for nonwhite men to join eharmony. I called complaining 3+ times, wanting a refund and they're going to give me three extra months for free.

I bought eharmony maybe two weeks ago now, what a waste of money! The first day right after I bought it there was already nobody in my area, it kept saying expand your search, although already at 60 miles. ‍
I have yet to meet one person I'm slightly interested in. I've had no conversation and honestly not going on the site anymore, it makes me feel more hopeless. Excited to waste my money paying for a site I won't use. Not to mention the site is set up terribly. This is my first review ever at almost 40, this is not my style but I had to write one to warn everyone DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Try other sites.

I signed up for 2 year in February 2023, I used for 3 weeks found not useful so I stopped using it. Very limited match. Months later, they threatened me with collections. All they care about is money.

They immediately took $86 dollars from me when I joined. I pick my match radius of 100 miles, there like only 7 matches that pop up. They won't let you just scroll all profiles and pick out who you like, worst dating site ever, definitely not worth the $86 dollars that I spent.

There is no full refund. They sent you an email for your personality report (based on what you told them about your personality :)) immediately after being a member to prevent you claim a full refund. Even if you cancel your membership within an hour, they charge you £65 for the report that you did not request or purchase.

For the cost this site it is not worth it. I was on for the entire year and was matched up with one person close to my location, that I was able to meet. All other matches were 50 miles away.
Stay away, Eharmony is below average, and they don't allow photos that are in a group setting.

So after having my heart broken and a desperate state of grief, I was wooed by an ad to an e harmony trial subscription half price for 1 month 17.99. I went through with the process and immediately get a notification from my bank. I have been billed $453. Somehow I was signed up for a year membership. I don't have a year membership to anything. So I'm definitely not signing up for a dating site. I've never used before for a year site unseen. I immediately called and filed a complaint. Of course, they refused the dispute it then stand behind their no refund policy. What kind of company has a no refund policy period these people are thieves. I have never been on this site. I will never be on the site

EHarmony is a horrible "dating" website claiming you can "Find real love" as well as claiming it is the "HIGHEST QUALITY DATING POOL" and "THE #1 TRUSTED DATING APP" on their website at sign up. High quality? #1 trusted dating app? My answer-no. These are just a few of their outlandish claims.

I have done eHarmony before back in 2018 and tried it for a month and they are neither a good dating website/app, high quality, or can be trusted. First off the website makes it difficult to find someone if you are a woman and the profile system doesn't ask enough questions so you don't know who you are really talking too. There are a lot of catfishes on here that eHarmony does not care about because I have reported a few profiles with catfishes but nothing is ever done about it.

Secondly, here is why I say they stole my money. I got a Premium Light (6 months) membership and that is $65.90/mo. Or $395.40 total but instead of charging me $395.40 they are charging me $449.60. That is $54 extra! Also, I should mention as of writing this, eHarmony is still charging me but has blocked my access so I can not even log into my account.

Final thoughts, if you want to keep your money and want to meet REAL people, do not even bother with this site! It is extremely expensive for the little you get. Customer service is terrible and does not care and only wants the money and after that, you are on your own.

Gay guy fell for the spiel after break up and to be fair i got a 50% discount on 6 month membership but even after paying they MAKE YOU AGREE to paying them £65 for a personality profile if you cancel BEFORE allowing you to view anything! Once you agree they email you the profile. I did try not to agree as didn't want it but as mentioned they still blur everything and restrict access until you do agree

Finally got to see what I paid for and TBH, this might just be from a gay point of view but the number of profiles meeting my criteria was less than 20! Not exactly as they sell their service so decided to cancel within the cooling off period.

Anyway, short story my few days cost me £65 for the profile I didn't really want and never even got to message a single person.

Just beware if you do sign up - there is no actual cooling off period if you sign up in the UK without paying this fee for the profile.

If you are gay - absolute waste of time anyway so don't bother

Although I set a (low) height restriction of 5'9" it was not honored. Neither was the distance restriction of LESS than 30 miles. NOT EVEN CLOSE. I think I got 1 of those! Drinking habits/politics, many other things rarely matched. Find another site.

This web sites falsely advertises that membership can be cancelled, IF YOU CANCEL THEY COME AFTER YOU FOR COLLECTION after collecting the first payment and total unsatisfactory service no response to my e-mails, and unavailability of members within my area I consulted my attorney and based on the total unsatisfactory service I was advised by my attorney that I have the right to cancel membership ( that is the law), after a period of 2 weeks this membership was cancelled by email and by phone call, the web site was never used again and additional payments were cancelled, as I was directed to do by my attorney this was a total loss and I found the web site making many false claims and to be a fraud, and I actually requested a partial refund for cancelling,
This website is a fraud, no payment under any circumstances will ever be made to this fraudulent dating website.

I had used eharmony many years ago when it was still run according to its founding principles. That eharmony is dead and gone. Now it exists as a scam! Several states have recognized this and require eharmony to issue a refund if cancelled within 3 days. If it takes you longer than 3 days to realize its a scam, then you have to raise the issue with your cc company, your attorney general AND the FTC.
Eharmony engages in numerous shady business practices. For example, NOT letting you cancel! This means there are many people who realize its a scam and yet they can't get out. Their profiles are used to fool new customers into making it seem legit.
Other things:
- Few people who are a potential match in the whole country, much less within 100 miles. Unless you live in a metro with several million people.
- Fake Profiles! Yeah if someone looks kinda good they are most likely a fake.
- Can't filter out obese people in searches
- Can't filter out politically opposite people in searches
- Charging people after they cancel!
- Go to Trustpilot you will see nearly 1,000 complaints of eharmony and the numerous ways their business model is now outright scam!
- they advertise one price and charge you another!
Keep complaining about eharmony scam on all sites and to all authorities until they get shut down!
Class Action also long overdue! Where are the lawyers? Or do they know the only $ eharmony has are what they conned out of people today?

Their subscription locks you in for a minimum of 6 months out of which you cannot get out. It's very expensive and no refunds. The website is also quite dead. Avoid at all costs!

EHarmony is the best marketed / worst product I have experienced. Having a minimum search range of 20km (2 hours commute one way!) is plainly impractical.

I spent 1 hour on the site, found six people near me or matching my life style (I don't drink alcohol), immediately requested a refund within 14 days.

EHarmony then charge me £65 for a nonsense psych evaluation. Do yourself a favour use Hinge, Bumble, Coffee Meets Bagel, OKCupid or Plenty of Fish

I I asked for cancellation and refund of 3 payments out of 4. I called to cancel within a week I signed up as I was not at all satisfied. I cancelled the renewal as well. The answer I got was that they will not refund but give me three extra months for free. If I am requesting for cancellation and refund but you are offering me three extra months... How do you explain that? You are willing to offer me extra months that I don't need but you are not willing to refund me for the services that I will not be using. Please think before you sign up. This company has no sense of customer satisfaction. Its just a money making tool.

E-harmony baits people on their website into year long contracts stating you can cancel anytime. If u cancel all monies are owed immediately no matter how terrible their site really is! I had a very hard time entering the site all the time. Then when i finally got in i was presented with all the same people over and over! When i contacted e-harmony they were rude and asked for more money! E-HARMONY IS A SCAM...PLEASE DONT GET CAUGHT UP IN IT! There are plenty of better sites available MUCH CHEAPER!
