Because of timing, and a holiday weekend Echovita could not find a florist to compete my order. I understand this is not their fault, however I was very disappointed. The flowers were for a funeral. I was unable to attend, because I was out of state.

Echovita made it very easy to pay my respects for the funeral of the mother of a friend from church. Echovita was connected to the only online obituary that I could find for an out of town funeral. More than just easy, Echovita knew more about the funeral arrangements and logistics than I did, so my flowers were sent to the best location and at the best time for their special funeral plans. I actually thought I might have signed up to send flowers to the wrong city, when I was told later that the funeral was in a different town, an hour away. Echovita had it under control! My friend texted me from the funeral to say thanks for the flowers, so I know Echovita came through for me, during this difficult scenario. Thanks!
The purchase process was quick and easy with images that you can choose from to your liking. The family responded that the arrangement meant so much to them and that they appreciated the acknowledgement. I was totally satisfied with the purchase and will use the website again
I spoke with a customer representative before ordering to discuss a custom order. I followed the instructions provided step-by-step. The delivery was not customized.

The only way flower orders can be customized, is if you place your order over the phone with our partner, Blooms Today, directly, and when doing so, the order wouldn't be shown within our system. Very happy with the plant that was ordered and delivered. However, I was NOT happy about the hidden fee for the international transaction fee. I have no problem paying it, but it should have been included as a line item on the charges billed to our company credit card. It was a total surprise to see the charge hit the statement and no paperwork back up for it.
I ordered a floral spray for a funeral. The evening before I noticed an e-mail from them, saying they didn't have the flowers to fulfill the order and would like to send a plant instead.
I spent hours on the phone with local florists at closing time trying to find someone who could make a floral spray. It was too late.
It was embarrassing for our family not to send what we ordered and hoped to send.

Unfortunately, if there is an issue with the order selected, the local florist can advise the customer that they can send a substitute arrangement, or you can cancel your order. This is not a "classic bait and switch". Furthermore, you placed your order at the last minute. You placed your order on June 20th at 3:42p.m. For delivery by 9:00a.m. On June 21st. Local florists have their hours of operation just like other businesses. This local florist basically had about 3 hours to prepare and deliver the order since they would have to deliver your order on June 20th because they are not open early enough to deliver the order the morning of the 21st. Just as you said, you spent hours on the phone with local florists, but it was too late for a spray. Sprays take more time than an other type of arrangement, and since you placed your order late, there wasn't much time to fulfill it.
Although the arrangement was beautiful it was very small when compared to another one my friend ordered from a local florist. The same plants and price.

Live out of state I thought this was to be easier it was not. I first received a email the flower arrangements I ordered was not available then the day before the funeral received an email they couldn't be delivered until 3 days after. I canceled my order and looked online for local store. To my surprise for the same amount I would of spent on simple arrangement through you this florist did a vase of roses. Since it was going to my nieces for the loss of their father my brother I approved. She also had all the information needed for delivery since she was already doing flowers for funeral home.
Flowers arrived after the service, when i tried to call customer service the phone number didn't work so i was only able to get a refund that was a fraction of what i paid.

The arrangement was to be delivered prior to 5:00pm for the visitation. They arrived the following morning.

First, you chose for the flowers to be delivered prior to the first visitation on August 30th before 3:00p.m., not 5:00p.m. Since they couldn't be delivered that day, they were delivered the morning of August 31st before the start of the second visitation, so they were there for the second visitation and the funeral service. I ordered a plant for a funeral it was supposed to be delivered by 1:00 last night I got this email saying that it was delivered at 7:00 pm?

We ordered flowers on Saturday after we received notice of the death and arrangements for a funeral which was on Monday. We received a call at 9am on Monday stating they could not deliver in time for the service at 1pm. Very disappointing that they did not contact us on Saturday that they couldn't fill our request instead of waiting until Monday morning and they didn't even offer us a refund since they couldn't fill our order. Will never use them again. Very poor, unprofessional company.

Caused a bit of concern when I didn't get an email to confirm delivery until two hours after the wake started.
The flowers were delivered on time but a notice of confirmation ahead of time would have soothed an out of town customer's concern.
My order for a funeral was not delivered. I received an email saying more info was needed, this was the day before the funeral, I called and thought we agreed on a different arrangment to be delivered, but after the funeral, I was notified it was not delivered. I had 2 orders for this funeral one from me and one from my business. I called after the funeral and was told I should call the grieving family and ask them if the order had been delivered, I will NOT ever use this service again!

In regards to your other order, it was already refunded. I'd love to provide some clarity though because it seems there was miscommunication between yourself and our partner, Blooms Today. The other order you placed was not delivered, which is why it was refunded. In regards to this specific order you referenced, it WAS delivered on time for the service. I reached out to Blooms Today and they had on record that you called them asking if this order had been delivered and they said yes, and they sent you a delivery confirmation stating that it had been delivered on August 6th at 12:00p.m., as is the date and time of delivery requested when you placed your order. You said they asked you to "call the grieving family and ask them", however, that was after they had already informed you the order was delivered and they provided you with a delivery confirmation because you wanted to know how you could be sure it was delivered. They simply said you could confirm with the family, which is how the majority of online orders could be confirmed if it was sent to a recipient who was not a customer. Thank you.
It was nice, that this service works with a local florist to the Funeral especially since we were across the country from the funeral. We were worried when we got a notice that they would have to substitute flower types because not all flowers were available, but we received a picture of the arrangement and were more than happy with the outcome. It got complements from the family. The lack of variety in the selections is a little limiting, but otherwise we were very happy with how it worked out.
It was a horrible experience. I called several days ahead of time to schedule the delivery on the day of the funeral because the person was leaving the next day. And I was called the morning of the funeral to say that they couldn't fulfill the order. It was so heartbreaking and disappointing.

When looking at your order, I see that you had originally placed your order on August 5th at 2:53p.m. For delivery by August 7th at 10:00a.m., which means you didn't call several days ahead of time, since there was less than 48 hours between you placing the order and the date and time of delivery. Nevertheless if the order couldn't be fulfilled you should have been notified on August 6th, not the morning of the 7th, unless an issue arose with the local florist at the last minute. Thank you.
I ordered flowers for a funeral service to be delivered to the viewing. They were never delivered, and I didn't receive notice that they couldn't find a shop to deliver them until two days after the service. Very disappointed in your services!

Answer: Candles, messages, and memories left on Echovita only appear on the obituary page you left it on Echovita. They do not simultaneously appear on the funeral home's website. No where on Echovita does it say candles, messages, or memories left on our website appear on the funeral home's website.
