I placed my order through the funeral obituary site. The so called link led me to believe it was a local florist. It was not local and Echovita called to tell me the order would be canceled because they weren't able to deliver the same day of the visitation. My money was promptly returned. Which I appreciated. I then looked up a different florist in the town where the funeral was and they were able to assist me over the phone and even texted a picture of the arrangement sent! Overall interaction was good and prompt but didn't like being miss led!

I never heard of Echovita until it was shown as a link on the funeral home website. I figured it could be trusted since the funeral home recommended it and I would give it a try. I set up delivery of a floral arrangement for a memorial service. The service was on a Wednesday at 3pm. I placed the order on Sunday. The order was accepted and my credit card billed. Tuesday at 9am they called to tell me the floor arrangement I ordered, which was a standard item listed on the website, was unavailable and would I agree to a substitution of a floor basket. I agreed. Wednesday at 9am, they called to tell me they were unable to fill my order and it was being cancelled and I would receive a full refund. The order was placed 4 days prior. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. And for the record, I immediately called 1-800 Flowers and they were able to find a florist at 9am the day of to make a same day delivery before 2pm.

All flower orders received on Echovita are processed by Blooms Today who then assigns the order to a local florist near the delivery address. The local florist contacted you regarding a substitute for the arrangement you selected, then they contacted Blooms Today the next day to inform them that for whatever reason, they wouldn't be able to deliver your order, which is why you were informed your order would be cancelled and refunded.
After placing my order for a funeral arrangement, I never received any details as to if ot when it was delivered, so I have no clue as to whether the family actually received the flowers.
It was quick and easy and the choice of arrangements was very nice.
I did not see the flowers in person. So can ot evaluate.
