I had an appointment and had completed the online paperwork prior to arrival. Although the place looked like a third world country flea market, the service was quick and courteous. For all the complainers, do your upfront application, bring correct documents and be respectful. Easy.
I've had to re-register my account two times over the years. However, when I go to the site it does not recognize me. I'm sure my name has not changed, my date of birth has not changed, and my social security number has not changed.
Today it didn't recognize me again... Of course.
So I thought I would just call and let them know that my vehicle had been sold. The first agent came on after about 10 minutes. Asking me a few questions and then said she's got the proper agent and transferred me. So far I've been waiting 12 minutes on this extension.
The only good thing I can say, is that he gave me time to write a review.
I hope my tax dollars can do a better job than this in the future.
We walked into a less than busy DMV after the adoption of our grandson. We were given an appointment for 3 weeks and a day after that. It caused all kinds of problems with his pharmacy, banking, and several other legal issues. The wait was completely unreasonable and uncalled for.
I had the most frustrating experience with this office. When we arrived, the line had more than 30 people waiting in the line. We waited for over an hour, yet not one staff showed up to explain the reason for not opening the office. It clearly demonstrates lack of professionalism. I hate to leave negative comments over such an incident. All of patrons had busy schedules, and we really needed to be at DMV today. The online appointments were booked toll Aprill.
I went to the motor vehicles in Elizabeth New Jersey. To register my vehicle and they don't do that so they tell you three addresses real fast and quick but where to go. Then they point you to the wall or barcode a website to register your vehicle. The problem is some people are not computer friendly.
So I call motor vehicles in Elizabeth North and for somebody to call you it'll take 2 to 3 hours to call you back maybe next day. They should make things real simple to use on the website so anybody can use it and they should have an address ring on the wall that you could take a pic of where to go to register your car. It's so much easier
I think it is a disgrace since the pandemic you people are having consumers to now go online just to come get a duplicate of a lost driver's license. Close locations you have to wait a WHOLE MONTH to get in so COME ON what are we doing? I need to rent a U-Haul and I can't because they require your license so this online appt is garbage and please go back to just walking in because I had to get my kids to help me try and schedule. If I could I will rate this service a MINUS ONE.
So I moved and called to update my address as I have always done well found out when I called that they stop that a few years sho. Was given a website to go to and update my address. It's been over an hour im trying to do this but it's not working. It's not letting me do a address update but it will take my money for a replacement card but no address change. I was told that I can update my address without getting another Driver's license. I even copy and paste the code it sent to my email and it says it's invalid every time. I'm done with this site and these lying customers service.
Applying for a new license after mine expired during the pandemic, I scheduled my driving test. I was sent an email less than an hour before my appointment telling me that I had to complete and online video (impact course) before my appointment. The lady then told me it was 2 hrs long and when I told her I didn't even get the email 2 hrs before, she gave me a "sorry about your luck" look and told me I would have to reschedule my appointment... it is a good thing these people aren't trusted with something WAY more complicated like food preparation. Judging from their skills and work ethic, I'd be scared to eat at their business. Good job Palestine DMV, I will go out of my way to use any other DMV office now.
4hrs waisted just waiting for a simply service. That's sad they don't have a better system. I came at 8:30 am by 8:47am I got to speak to the receptionist and is noon and still have not been seeing yet!
I came into the DMV on Nacogdoches Road to get a replacement title Sondra helped me this afternoon and she was absolutely amazing very kind and explained everything to me. I had come in this morning with an appointment and the woman that talked to me was just absolutely rude. She acted disgusted that I would ask her a question and basically just shove my papers back at me I had to come back this afternoon and luckily Sandra helped me and she was just wonderful. I can't say enough good things about her. It was really nice after the experience this morning. Need more customer service people like Sandra and less like the person that helped me this morning
Everyone I communicated with was horrible- all act like robots. No efficiency. Had to be in 3 lines and had to wait each time despite the appointment. There is no clear sign where to go if have an appointment. Had to stand in line to learn where to go. Then I was given a number and fess told to sit- do not allow standing. Once my number was announced, the rude lady told me to fill in the application on one of the computers and then stand in red line. So I did. Then another lady called me and told me stand on another line to pay. By this time, I was pissed. First Lady could have told me fill out application while I waited to be called for the first time. Hopefully, I will not have come back for another 15 yrs to renew license.

She is very kind, responsive, knowledgeable person with care responsiveness to all citizen's problem and needs to get resolved and done. Great Many Thanks and Appreciations!
Went to my local DMV in Nags Head NC to get my license renewed today. Branch the dmv worker totally made my day. Me being disabled and my wife of 20 years leaving me rather recently it was a breath of fresh air to deal with Branch and how caring, understanding, the conversation she gave me and having the utmost professional attitude and attention to me really did make my day if not whole week. She could tell and understood I was down on my luck coming in with my walker struggling to get to her work area and huge cut across my leg from stitches that just got taking out day prior. And she made me feel like I was the most important person in her world. She even helped me in ways you would never expect from a DMV worker. As I walked in a younger gentleman and his girlfriend or wife had stated that he to so appreciate her for her help with him as well and said that not all super hero's wear capes. Well I fully understand why he made that comment. Branch my local DMV clerk at the Nags Head office truly is a hero that doesn't wear a cape. I pray that nothing but good things come to her and her family for the kindness, caring and as said the conversation and professional she showed me. Wish could tell you all that she did to help me but it will be something I will never forget. Branch truly is a great person and wish her nothing but the best. We are very lucky to have her working at our local branch here at Nags Head Outer Banks NC

It's really sad how rude and nasty this one employee was. You never know what a person is going through. Her attitude was disgusting. Maybe she needs to up her dosage on nice pills.
Here I sit 30 minutes after my customer was supposed to take their drive test because the appointment maker didn't follow protocol and the only person who could give this specific test is on vacation. Why can't the DMV get their act together
The dmv is useless I've gone once they told me that if that not what your appointment for what you requested you can't do it along with being rood to me about also tired of them telling me everything requires an appointment for simple $#*! also took 4 weeks and $50 worth of faxing and mail them papers the people don't want take any time out of there day to help someone
Went to Florida DMV in May. Very busy but in and out in 15 minutes. I'm at NY DMV now. George Urban Blvd. Location. Must see customer service before being assigned to 1 of 15 windows. 5 windows have people. All five are waiting for 23 people to make it through customer service. There is only one person at customer service. There is no one through yet. Two of the more knowledgeable workers (waiting for people to get through customer service) look at each other then back at us and decide to take action. They grab their smokes and head outside.
They said go to the eye doctor and return with paper filled out by the eye doctor. Upon returning they said appointments only, which was 2 months away and my license expires in 2 weeks now. I explained to them that I work 6 days a week. They said oh well, walk in 7am to 8am only. I vsaid I am at work already and my license will expire before the next appointment and was told to return for Mr Gold Star Driver's license. They still said no. This was at 2pm. Plus there was 5 empty stations that could have had workers there.
I don't know what they're doing to my driver license. I haven't received it the first time when my driver license was going to expired in march 7 2020 but i took Pic and i paid $35 on November 2019 in Fremont dmv but it was misplaced so i paid it again online on November 10 2020 but i still didn't receive it and i called their customer service but first they said someone will be with you in next 2 minutes but they put me on hold for almost 40 minutes.
I don't know what's wrong with them and why they're delaying my driver license because i really need it for to apply for driving job.
