Terrible.
Summary: designed/ordered about 50 mugs with a color logo, but when they arrived they were all B&W. Customer service representative talked to me like I was stupid and refused to help.
Details: I ordered pens and mugs with the same color logo. When designing the pens, the website clearly told me "this is a single color item" and changed the artwork to B&W. Fine. When designing the mugs, no such warning was given, and the artwork stayed full color right up through the confirmation email and the invoice. *Never* notified me that the item would be printed differently than it was displaying. The invoice says "1 Screen Charges", which apparently I was supposed to interpret as a single color item? But again, this is on the invoice. I was never notified of this during the design or checkout process.
The customer service rep, however, felt I should have looked through my crystal ball and known what I was paying for. Talked to me like I was an idiot.
Don't buy from these folks...
I was asked to organize a Gala Event. All souvenirs were ordered for all who attended. The professional & knowledgeable staff helped guide me through every detail from style to color. We have always purchased our mugs at Discount Mugs. Thier products are wonderful with a wide variety to choose from. Oscar Torres is the best, had to make a return today and he made it very easy and was quick responding to my request. I wish more companies had customer service skills such as Oscar!
I ordered some custom printed cups directly on the phone and online (together) they quoted me price and delivery date and I was thrilled. THEN... 15 days before delivery they emailed to say it would be another 30 Days. That was a real problem because they were needed for an event sooner than that. II requested to just cancel the order and they would only give me Store credit!
Sorry but I believe THEY are the ones that let me down. They owe me my credit card refunded.
Will never trust them again.
We have been working with Discountmugs.com for several years and have had very positive experiences. **, the sales representative with whom we work, is incredibly efficient, kind and accommodating. Use any other company you can. They sent me something completely different than what was pictured on their website and my proof and expect me to keep it. It's $1100 worth of promotional goods for black friday. We cannot use any of it. They promised calls back every day for a week with not one single call back.
EDIT: After a week and a half - they've credit my account for another promotional product of the same total cost. If I were to do this again, I'd order a sample.
Their mugs are terrible, only mugs I ever had that got destroyed on the very first "light wash" in the dishwasher, would not recommend buying anything from this company, the other thing I notice is that all of their social media, no one is allowed to post anything, probably a reason for that. It would all be negative.
I never received my product and called in 4 times in the weeks after it was late. I placed an online customer service ticket. Each time I was told I would receive a response within 24 hours and never did. My product looks like it hasn't even gone into production. I will have to dispute charger and graduating students never received their end of the year gift.
I had been doing business with Discount Mugs for years.
Unfortunately, I will no longer be using them.
They recently shipped me a product which was printed in the wrong color (Black on Royal Blue instead of white on royal blue).
They claim that I accepted a proof, which I never saw, for the black ink.
Considering we have placed similar orders 5 times with Discount Mugs, I was offended by their paltry offer to refund me only $65 on a $277 order. The order should have been replaced, next day, free of charge. That would be how a professional company handled it.
Long story short, I'll never do business with them again.
P.S. - your online designer is extremely buggy. Fix that and you might retain more customers.
I have ordered stuff for work and personal items from this site. Prices are comparable to other places. Live chat is a nice feature. I do wish there was better product description. I ordered custom stress balls with our company logo & they looked as expected but the balls were very hard. It was stressful trying to squeeze them. Shipping took slightly longer than expected but not terribly bad. We received them in time. I would probably order again, but you have to work a little harder to get exactly what you want. Ask a lot of questions in the live chat.
Very poorly imprinted product & unsatisfactory service. Quality of lettering is superficial and has rubbed off within a few weeks of light use. The shipment arrived in a crushed and damaged box reeking of a spilled, unidentified liquid. Support Personnel has been very reluctant in pursuing these claims -- despite detailed photos. We are extremely dissatisfied with this particular order, especially as it contrasts so markedly with our previous shipment of commemorative mugs. It is doubtful that we will reorder again from this company.

Lied indicating items were shipped when the didn't meet the deadline blamed it on FedEx until info was verified.
Was extremely nonchalant about the inconvenience caused. Would not recommend purchasing anything from them.
I ordered some facemasks with an imprint on them and it was not centered. When you wear the mask the imprint is off to the side. Also the masks were child size at best. Your ears would bend forward if you try to put the loops over both ears. Stay away from this scam factory. Travis Rogers you can suck a $#*!.
Ordered 50 stemless wine glasses with company logo on them. This order was $400 for 50 glasses, not cheap. The logo come off after one wash. Beyond terrible quality. Im sure I missed some super small print that said "not for actually drinking wine". Will not order from them again needless to say and would caution everyone to go elsewhere to order their promotional items.
Used DM for three years, no issue. This year, our mugs arrived with very poor print quality. DM agreed and redid the cups, but delivered another order of the exact same poor quality mugs they sent the first time. No difference. None of the issues were addressed, they just reprinted the same crappy mugs. Horrible! Too many competitors for my company to ever use DiscountMugs again. I'll forever post bad reviews when I see their name, as they've ruined our 2017 Holiday Gifts for our clients, and now I have twice as many mugs as I need, but nothing to send our wonderful customers. Read through the reviews, nothing but bad for the last two years!
The glasses received look nothing like the proof. They etched the design about 30% of the original size. It's tiny and hard to read. Horrible experience so far. Will update when refunded. ORDER NUMBER: DM*******
What a wonderful company. My experience with Discount Mugs has been great. They are fast, efficient, and their prices are super competitive. I have been working will my sales rep Maria G. For about 2 years now, who is excellent. I can count on her to take care of my orders and she is the main reason why I use Discount Mugs for graphics marketing needs.
Avoid this company.
My order was produced incorrectly - so I sent a note to them via their website, after one week no one had replied. Next I called them, and they refused to take any responsibility for any issues with the order. I asked to speak to a manager and the response was that "nobody is really around". Unbelievable that a company can have such horrible customer service. There's enough other vendors out there that do this type of work that you should take your business else where.
They printed my mugs with the wrong shade of green but refused to replace the order. You should also know that I was told by one of their reps that the mug imprint area is set for mass production which is a pretty small area. My logo ended up way too small but they didn't care about this complaint either. Another complaint I have is that you have to purchase the mugs first in their website before you download your artwork and are able to see a proof. Supposedly they don't charge your card until you approve of their proof but it's a stressful situation.
Answer: The imprint will wash off in the dishwasher, or if hot liquid is in mug for a few minutes may come off on your hand.
