Tim helped me find a great deal on an awesome used laptop! This is my second purchase from Discount Electronics.

Garbage PCs and garbage customer service. Took their sweet time shipping me the PC in the first place. Shipped me a computer with a broken hard drive. Wasted my time with a customer service run around to the point I just wanted my money back, only to learn they do not give refunds.

When i entered Discount Electronics i was greeted by "Rico" he took my temperature and also gave me some hand sanitizer which i thought was great, that said to me that Discount Electronics took the virus Covid 19 seriously. I was also greeted by "Richard" he took my laptop and started working on it right away and all the while he was explaining to me what he was doing, which i thought that was nice of him. The whole crew Rico and Richard were great, and gave me awesome customer service. I WILL tell my friends about Discount Electronics in Round Rock

I bought a dell desktop from discount electronics. It would randomly shut down. So being a computer tech myself I decided I would just fix it. No big deal. So first I replaced the hard drive. Still doing it. Then I replaced the ram still no luck so then I replaced the power supply still no good. So I replaced everything but MB and CPU. So I email them and I said this computer shut down randomly and that I replaced HDD and other stuff but they still needed a screenshot of a dell diagnostic test. I told them it doesn't show everything but sure I would run it with the bad hard drive in it to show them it did have an issue. And I told them not just to replace the hard drive it wasn't that. Of course, that's all these people did so I received the same dell computer with the same issue they didn't fix a thing. Matter of fact I sent it back they received it on the 27 I got it back on the 30. That's fast. LOL, they didn't do a freaking thing. Well, they put in new HDD installed windows. Send back and it's still doing the same thing. These people r going to screw with the wrong guy and get hurt. Matter of fact I would drive to Texas and take care of it myself if I had some time I could take off. Anyway, don't buy anything from these guys. Not an opinion it's a fact. Go to Better Business Bureau for yourself. Or just google Discount Electronics reviews and read what they do to people. We need to shut down people like this. They rip off lots of people.

My husband bought a refurbished pc form them. Was told there was a 90 day return. When it didn't work right and I called I was told that there was a 90 day return policy. But when I wanted to return it I was told that there was only a 7 day return and they would give me a store credit. By the time the conversation ended I was told I was to stupid to know how to hook up the computer. To bring it in and they would hook it up for me and label everything so I would know how to do it when I got home. Great company NOT.

I ordered a 27 inch HP computer monitor. It didn't have the pin plug so i had to order an adapter cable.
When i turned it on in less than 10 minutes the screen went blank. I tried over and over again to no avail. Dont buy from them, refurbished is not reliable...

This company has NEVER answered the phone and email communication tends to be generic and unfruitful. EUGENE and JOE (or their customer service staff in general) are not working in the best interest of the company and could careless about making any sales. I've contacted them multiple times requesting a discounted rate if I purchased HUNDREDS of their units in bulk, but both kept giving me BS responses saying they " can't discount anything at the moment." This isn't logical, considering that it would cost THOUSANDS of dollars to ship out each individual unit to hundreds of customers and my bulk order would only cost a few hundred. Now I'm forced to take my business elsewhere.

Killer site to find refurbished Dell computers. I know dell has their own outlet center but I find those deals not to be such great bargains and they price it only a little below what a new system sells for... presumably so they can sell their new systems. Discount electronics can sell you a used or refurbished laptop or desktop for a really good bargain and no point in even buying an extended warranty at these prices as if it breaks you just get a new one. Stay just 1-2 years behind in technology and save a bundle.
