Absolutely brilliant service. If your reading this and your Trans looking for a name change this is the site to use. Deed poll came back fast. Been accepted without incident everywhere. Extremely smooth process. Can't fault in anyway. Extra info emailed on passport change etc to provide additional support.

Website very easy to navigate and very clear on what you will get. The extra options are plentiful but not forced upon you. Documents arrive when stated and follow up is great.
Changing my daughters name was very quick and easy and not the headache I was expecting. Website also provides helpful tips and templates of letters to send out to accompany the change of name.

I am pleased that Deed Poll is able to address all my queries. Although I have not submitted my forms yet, I am happy and confident to just contact them anytime I need assistance with regards to the process of that I am going to undergo in terms of my gender and name change. I still have to know if ever I will encounter issues with the submission of my Deed Poll to the right agencies that will involve the change of my name and gender. Until then, I am hoping that Deed Poll will be able to support and guide me every step of the way.

I actually applied through another Deed Poll office, who quoted me a timescale of 6 months until completion, and by accident I called the wrong number to chase up my application, thank goodness I did as I was made aware that I could get my name changed in less than a week & for less than half the cost, and pay online, rather than send a cheque, so cheque cancelled & Deed Poll Documents received. When your searching for ways to change your name legally and you come across loads of different sites this is the one to use its official and they are very affordable and they come quickly in the post. I'm happy with my deed poll's and it comes with instructions on how to make them legal and tells you people that should be informed this is really useful. This is a genuine site that gives out official deed polls so you can trust it.

Very quick and easy to do and although you can do this yourself (via the government website which provides the wording you need), it was a lot easier doing it through this website and the document is of high quality and is official. I received my document within a few days along with instructions on how to execute it and they even sent a suggested list of bodies whom I should inform, along with a template letter to use. Brilliant.
I would highly recommend this service for ease and reliability.

This site costs a little more for their notify service (£28), but I found this to be more than money well spent. For someone who let their other half deal with all the admin stuff like sorting out banking and tax returns etc, DeedPollOffice takes you through the name change process quickly and with minimum fuss. I took care of everything in one afternoon, with the exception of the Passport, for which you need to show other docs which now possess your new name. Handily though, you can continue to travel with your old passport and old name, provided you complete all the bookings in your old name as well. You can simply change your passport when you're due a new one anyway.
You need to get the deed poll signed before completing any other steps, as you need to send copies to your Dr, Union, Bank etc.

DPO was helpful and provided timely advice on which legal document I needed. The eventual statutory declaration arrived quickly and proved to be just what I needed for a passport application. Highly recommended.
