Other carriers can provide you with old call logs (under 2 years most carriers have them online), but not Cricket. They require you to have a subpoena, for your own records.

Purchased a faulty phone and they want me to pay for it and after hours and now days im taking ot to court if not addressed quickly. Ive sent an email describing situation. I will not buy a new sim and i will be answered by someone this is worst treatment I've ever seen from any company I've ever had to endure.

The phone and plans are okay, but Beware of some of their Perks.
I gave a friend my code for the Refer-A-Friend Program so she could sign up and we would both save $25.00. We kept getting mixed messages of it it should be 60 or 90 days, but, it's been 90. They tried to deny our credit by saying she opened an account before applying the code. If you read the terms of the program, one step says you start service then use code then FAQ says you use code then start service. Suffice it to say both my friend and I spent 4 hours yesterday fighting with Cricket Customer Service over this and surprisingly never talked to the same people. I finally got a case # and had my side resolved but my friend has to wait 3-4 more days to receive her credit. Needless to say, I will Never Refer-A-Friend again to this company.

I bought a new phone from them, and asked if I could temporarily unlock the phone, because I had to travel abroad. They said, they can't do that.
Then, I asked if I could unlock the older phone, that I bought 8 months ago with them but never activated, so that I could use it. They said, they can't help because it has to be in service for 6 months. I told them, it crossed 6 months already by the time I bought. They said there is no exception for anything. I don't think I am buying any phones with them again. Their price is only like $50 cheaper then in the market, but on top of that they charge $25 activation fee. So, it is pretty much the same price.
Most importantly their customer policies are very rigid and can't go an inch further to assist the legitimate customer requests. I hope they change.

Frustrated
August 16, 2022

Most of the reviews already talk about poor customer service and connection issues. Not much to add other than can't get any cooperation with getting a refund for services not provided. I was having trouble with the other network I was with so I switched to cricket on the advice of folks in this area. Unfortunately, the phone itself works inside my house but the internet does not. Ironically, it is the internet that I was hoping to use the most.

Very long hold times to get a live rep, every representative I have spoken with is not clear English. Does not care if you are a long time consumer and will not make exceptions to the rules. Will be looking for another courier

A $70 plan is $89. A 21% increase with charges they sneak on. It is pure exploitation. Most phone companies quit doing hidden billing due to the negative consequences it Is to long term sales and retention of customers

Trickery
December 6, 2020

Whilst going into Walmart to add onto my straight talk prepaid account, I let the salesman talk me into a sprint for "much " better service and a new phone at the same price.
All sales pitch. The bill has been double the amount quoted and the actual service is spotty at best,
Trickery indeed!

Cricket wireless
May 15, 2023

I would never recommend anyone cricket wireless. They charge way too much for service. I've had a lot of issues with the my cricket app logging in they also charge reconnect fee that's ridiculously high. Making your bill close to $100 I only got the $60 service but now my bill is almost $100. I was part of the bridge pay and was having issues logging into my account. I tried to pay my last payment I could not log in and my service was disconnected. Now cricket is charging me close to 100 dollars to reconnect my service. Cricket you are ridiculous ly expensive I would not pay that much for your phone service I'm going to find a different provider.

The absolute worst
August 29, 2020

Seriously, how is this company even still in business? Awful (or no) service if you don't live in a large city, garbage customer service, and they will continue to charge your account even if you've cancelled your service. Save yourself the headaches and spend a little more on a better carrier.

Don't get your service here, they don't care About loyal customers! At the time of this pandemic other wireless companies have stepped up and offered anywhere from 30 to 90 days free service. Cricket offered me $20 off a $100 bill I make every month for 3 years after I told them I wasn't working! Go to metro or boost way better customer service.

It's impossible to not get red flags when you call to ask why there is no data...the initial voice of AI says fake happy something about their lawyers. That's telling. It's unacceptable to have data completely unavailable citing broken anything.even for an hour. Technology is too advanced and this company is punking us..

Every other company will give you a grace period of a few weeks to pay your bill. An unexpected big expense came out of my account that drained it. I now have no service until payday. There really needs to be a grace period on payments not 11:59pm the day it's due. That's ridiculous.

I'd give zero stars if possible. Used to be good, straight trash now! Will not unlock iPhone 13 bought in February, because I didn't have quite 6months more of service before moving to Verizon! Their customer service is garbage and they stole my $900 I spent on my new paperweight. Straight trash!

Held Hostage
December 4, 2020

It doesn't get better than being held Hostage by your phone provider.
My credit card linked to autopay was valid through the end of this year.
However, Cricket didn't like that in November, so they prompted me to link a new card, which I did.
They did not charge the new card and without a word they just cancelled my service. Then they sent me a text saying that I need to make a payment and of course pay a re- connection fee OR no service.
I gave them 2 forms of payment, but utilized neither.
After being a loyal customer and paying with autopay each month, this was my reward.
Guess I'm calling another carrier.
BTW, if you cancel before your month is up; you guessed it, they keep all of your balance.
If that's how you run your business, you can kiss my fat arse.

BUYER BEWARE
September 3, 2020

Terrible business practices and outrages customer service. I bought a new phone through cricket and everything was going pretty smoothly until my services stopped working. I called and chatted with many reps I stopped counting after the 10th rep and they kept telling me to do different things and buy new SIM cards. All in all I spent about $100 on a combination of multiple SIM cards because apparently they were defective (each is $10 and non refundable) and I had to pay 2 months of services upfront ($30/mo) cricket is the absolute worst company to exist. A 1 Star is too generous. If I could give these people a negative star, I'd give them -5 stars for being difficult and making me spend a whole lot more money than necessary. The reps were so untrained, and had no knowledge about my problem. It's a sober reminder of how cheap companies actually suck. So please stop giving your money to such a corrupt company and let the markets eat this company to the ground

This wireless service is advertising unlimited text, message and data plans for a set monthly price but actually the wireless provider is breaking the data connection, video's freeze, dropped called, a low to no nternet speed.

Called several times with no ending resolution. Why would they fix an issue that they clearly created?
I absolutely do not recommend!
