I've ordered other items from Charlotte Russe before and never had any issues. This time, I ordered two pairs of boots as they were buy one pair at regular price, get one for $5. A couple days later, I received an email stating that the one pair of boots had been cancelled. The only reason I was buying the boots was to get the two pairs for reg. Price plus $5. I wish I could have received a voucher or an option to replace the others. Not cool.
Charlotte Russe was my favorite place to shop, online and in person, I've bought tons of things from there and visited many different locations, that will now be changing. I ordered two pairs of jeans on clearance for my birthday and I was so excited for them! A WEEK went by, and I received an email informing me that these items are out of stock, which was shocking to me considering I had expected them to have at least been shipped by that time. When an item is ordered, while it is still in stock, it only makes sense that you would receive it. I ordered the items for my bday, not only did I not get them by then, but I didn't get them at all, with no sort of compensation what so ever. It seems this happens to a lot of clients, but they have made no efforts to correct it or change it. I think I'm just going to shop at Torrid from now on.
I recently purchased really cute boots from the Charlotte Russe website. I usually look at the reviews to online stores that I haven't shopped at before buying but I forgot to do so in this case. I eventually did and I saw many bad reviews and I was very scared that my package wouldn't arrive. It took about four days to ship and another two to leave the office and came to my house about a week or two later. The box was slightly damaged which doesn't bother me and my shoes were undamaged and perfect. I'm really happy with my experience with Charlotte Russe but I highly doubt I'll shop there again because of the many bad reviews.
They size chart for jeans is completely incorrectly and they have the worse return policy so you have to pay for the returns. I purchase 4 pairs of jeans from their website and bought sizes I would not normally buy except that I bought the recommended size based on their size chart. The jeans were 4 sizes bigger than me and now I'm stuff with paying for the return. I think this is highly unfair
This was my first time ordering from Charlotte Russe, and it will not be my last. I bought three cut out black dresses and I'm absolutely obsessed with them! They are a little long, but I am only 5'2 and it shouldn't cost much to have them altered. I bought all of the dresses on sale for roughly $20 a piece. Absolutely worth the money!
I have tried three times to get items from Charlotte Russe and all three times have been disappointed. They never actually respond to complaints. The only ever send generic messages back to you. Horrible costumer service when you call them. I will Never order from them again. Don't get me started on the restocking fee charge. Good luck staying in business. I'll stick with ASOS!
Went to buy an outfit on Saturday 11/27/21 for black Friday they have a nerve to have the dressing room closed and say NO REFUNDS NO EXCHANGES I threw all the clothes I wasted my time picking up and and walked out! Just go out of business and stay out of business if you going to do bad business! This is ridiculous I would never shop there again! RIPP OFF SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! THIS IS A SCAM!
I ordered and paid for 2 shirts and two skirts. They email me saying only one skirt was shipped because the rest were sold out. I was not refunded yet and it has been over week. I even wrote them an email and no response yet.
This is my first and last order from Charlotte Russe. I ordered a pair of SIZE 6 boots, I double checked it and placed the order. The order history says I ordered a SIZE 10. I contacted them and they said I can't cancel the order or get the size changed even tho it hasn't even shipped. They won't even email me back. I'm super disappointed because the boots were actually cute. I've never had a store or company be so complicated to contact for an error.
I'm shocked to see so many bad reviews on CR. I don't have complaints about them at all. I usually purchase items online since I haven't had a chance to go in store shopping... anyways, shipping isnt always the fastest but never too slow. Items are good quality. I think I don't have complaints or problems shopping online because I already know what to order and what to expect from them. Happy customer :))
I'm something of a 'shoe queen' and used to buy a lot of shoes from Charlotte Russe.
That was when they had a broad range of cute styles in a broad range of sizes. I wear an 11 and finding cute / fashionable heels is a challenge that this site used to meet admirably.
Nowadays their selection of 'larger' sizes is pretty grim and I drifted away from them to other sources - but I wish they'd figure out that girls feet are getting bigger and they should keep up with their customers' demographics.
Just hoping someone sees this review and it strikes a chord. A girlcan always hope, right?
I was so excited to get a pair off shoes in the mail, however they sent me the wrong size. They sold out of the size I was promised and now I have to do additional work to send them back just to get my money back. Even if I wanted to go up half a size they said they would be out of stock by the time I would get to them, like there is nothing more they could do. I'm not one to do a review but I was very disappointed. Really I should be getting my money back without going through the process of returning them, I suffer because they made a mistake, that's horrible customer service. These things do happen, but I had hoped they could do more for me considering the mess up was completely on there end.
I live in Canada. I have order from CR about 4 times last year. The service was good and delivery was free if your purchase was over $50 dollars. I always found clothing in my size. And shoes true to size. Now they charge $20 usa dollars to ship to canada and that has prevented me from ordering items from this site. And lastly all the terrible reviews this company is going foun hill... too bad
I went in to the Frisco, TX location for Black Friday, and was overcharged $11 for an item. When I went back to the store in an attempt to fix the cashiers mistake, I was yelled at by the employees in front of about 75 other people who were shopping there as well. I ended up leaving with $37 missing from my wallet, when there should have only been $26 spent, and was completely embarrassed in front of a crowd of several people. I'm never going back!
The employees are very rude, they were talking all three by themselves didn't wanted to help in the fitting room and also in shoes we said excuse me can you help and there ignore us. Went we where ready to paid it was a long line and only one cashier talking with the other two employees who wasn't doing anything. We were going to buy a lot but bought only one shirt because no one helps us.
I bought a pair of boots from CR I knew they wouldn't last forever but the heel broke the very first time I wore them. Totally unacceptable in my opinion I paid $40 to wear shoes one time. I contacted customer service and they will not replace or refund. Very disappointing.

I was planning on wearing it on my vacation after wearing it to a wedding. After 2 washes and 1 wear, a few part on the top (both front and back) was torn apart. I know the bad quality that I might get from Charlotte Russe, but after 2 washes and 1 wear... I will not shop at charlotte russe anymore
Horrible returns policy compared to other stores. If you don't have everything tags and all they won't take it back. As a bonus, if you don't get it back to the within 30 days of the purchase, they won't take it back. I did call customer service after learning the store would not accept it and even customer service refused to help. I'm now stuck with an item that does not fit. Seems I would have at least received in store credit even after the 30 days. People often order online because they don't have a Charlotte Russe nearby, hence why I'm over the 30 days. Stay away unless you are certain you want the item.
Very disappointed, signs advertised mix and match jeans and sweaters. 2nd one is 12.50. Purchased 2 jeans and 2 sweaters from the racks with the signs clearly part of the sale. Went to check out and the lady did not honor the 12.50 rate on the second sweater. Told the clerk and showed her the sign and rack and she still said no it didn't ring up that way. I went ahead and got it because someone was waiting for us and it was my daughters friend. They will never get my money again. Paid full price. It's the point. And she could have made it right and didn't so clearly no customer service.
I would make it NO stars but you have to select a star to write a review. I purchased a pair of sweat pants and a Jean shirt. I went home and the sweat pants had a hole in it and the Jean shirt had the alarm tag still on it. I thought, no big deal. I have the receipt! I went to the store in Braintree mail. (That is where I purchased it) I was told the shirt was not on the receipt, as if I stole it. I said I purchased this 2 days ago. The women said I was unable to keep the shirt because I did not pay for it. (Keep in mind I am a black women) another black women walked over and LOOKED at the receipt and said she did purchase it, the screw number is on the receipt. Then they said I could not exchange the sweat pants because it had an hole in it. I said I purchased it like that. They would not allow me to exchange. I asked to speak to a manager and they called her. She said the same thing. I explained if that is their policy then they need to check clothes out because allowing people to purchase. Long story short. I had to keep the pants that had a hole in it! I will never go to this store again. The managers were not helpful and seemed not to care.
