Over the last 7-8 years really good Bourbon has been becoming increasingly harder and harder to get. You walk into a local liquor store and they laugh at you if you mention Buffalo Trace or some of the others. So what to do? Deal with on-line companies and pay outrageous prices for something that would retail for about half the price at other places. The alternative is to "know someone" within liquor store/distribution circles. Most of the good stuff doesn't even make it to the shelves before it's gone.

I had trouble placing my order at first but through email they helped me to be able to place it. My order came in with time to spare for Christmas and had beautiful gift wrapping to go with it. I'd advise that you make sure your address has the full zipcode not just the usual 5 numbers and that you also use a credit card instead of a debit card.

The bourbon was a gift, so I cannot attest to the quality of the product, but my interaction with Cask Cartel was excellent: the website was easy to navigate, the shipping prediction was accurate (even in the busy holiday season) and the packaging was safe and secure. My order wasn't shipped until the day after I was told it would be delivered. It sat idle for 10 days until I wrote asking about it. Then it was handed off to FedEx and was finally delivered many days after the event for which it was purchased. It was packaged well and arrived in good condition, but I can't turn the clock back and celebrate my Silver Anniversary again. Disappointing.

Tracking shipment was difficult. Had know idea when it was shipped nor when it was to arrive. Was informed a signature would be required which was not the case.
