Data provided show years of records of mileage missing and incomplete. A car can't disappear from records for 10 years and then show up with 100k km more. The good part is that the car's equipment is listed and where the car was registered. Having a 5,000 euro difference between lower and higher cost of a repair could mean a lot for a car. I believe these data are not very accurate.
When buying car checking is important and this site is helpful to uncover what seller won't tell you
Product not as advertised, database several years out of date for my car. Refunds are (intentionally?) a hassle.
Paid $25 for a report. Report did not show year and model of vehicle. Did not show that vehicle was involved in multiple other accidents. Very limited to no information. No pictures. No history. This service is a scam!
I placed an order and it was charged twice! When I contacted them for a refund they said they would give me credit for a new report, but they made no refund
I've purchased a report which has literally 0 value (no information whatsoever). Tried couple of other car checks - and result is exactly the same. I seriously question if business is legitimate since all the cars I queried are relativelly new in age, have service history etc.
WARNING... They do not offer their 100% money back guarantee. I purchased the report yesterday and the report did not include information on the current owner of the car, which is VERY important if you want to know that you are dealing with the true owner. Asked for a full refund, they refused.
I wanted to query the history of the car I'm about to purchase. I've got a 10+ pages long report that mentioned that the car was involved in some kind of accident, there are some minor damages on the side. However the report didn't mention any specifics, no photo, nothing about the damage. The rest of the report only contained the milage information, and some generic maintenance advice that can be found in the car's service manual. Asked for a refund, as in my case I should have just burned the money, but they said they are sorry that the report was useless, but it is what it is.
I ran a report for my car to check the accuracy. You cannot rely on the provided data. My report contains wrong mileage data, data is taken without being verified from obscure car workshops. I contacted the support team but in vain. You will never receive money back on an incorrect or incomplete report. In addition, they will never verify the reality and will not correct the wrong data.
I used CarVertical website to obtain a vehicle report on a 2008 BMW. Although the report was somewhat comprehensive it did NOT include some critical material. The vehicle I was looking at was serviced at the same BMW dealership for 13 years. The owner of the vehicle was kind enough to give me all the service records.
This website ONLY provided half of the service records & repair records for this vehicle, the last three years of service records were missing. This website also failed to mention that the car was in a frontal accident in 2009 that required two new fenders, a hood, and nose piece, and two headlights at the BMW dealer. My recommendation is you try another website.
I bought a car history report from them. No information whatsoever. Total scam. They offer to refund money on their site, however I've requested it 4x already & got no response and no refund. Scam.
My friend wanted to see his car's history, we know that car had 1 accident, and he wanted to see the detailed report with photos or any other info about that accident. CarVertcal says that they can refund if the report is empty, and it was really empty, it showed us some general info about car without millage and accident. They made a refund after 2 weeks ( maybe earlier, not sure), but they try to save earned money in any way.
I've paid to get few VINs checked and out of 3 vehicles they did not produce a single useful results. Just random facts that I can google anywhere. Don't do my mistake and save your money. They support is useless in that regards.
CarVertical worked just fine for me! I've purchased 4 reports in total and each was pretty good. It had records were the most interesting for me and even more. Thanks!
Car Vertical is a scam! I paid $30 for two car reviews and didn't get one single report! What I got is general data about a car type you're purchasing only! There is no mileage and car history at all! I sent them two emails but they haven't answered. There should be legal actions taken against these cheaters!
We have performed a VIN check for our BMW. The results that showed this service is great and trustable.
I am recommending this service to every person who want to buy a used car of just want to know their vehicle history. You can also get a 10% discount for CarVertical VIN check at https://vincheckfree.net
My name is Robert End I want to ask a big question, how is it possible that a car that was injured in 2018 appears in your database without an accident in May 2020 and appears to be affected by damage in September: € 15,000 - € 20,000.
Hello,
For those Who are seeking for a true detailed review of carvertical, I have found a website which will help you with your decision to make a purchase of vehicle history report by performing a VIN check.
You can find it here https://vincheckfree.net/carvertical-review-the-truth-about-carvertical-we-checked-our-car/
They promised data but when they took the money, they had to show me only the registration date of the ten years old car i checked. Fraud.
I purchased a Report on a Dodge Charger. The carVerticle Report came back clean so I drove an hour to go and see the car. The owner disclosed the car had been written off 3 years ago and had a Rebuilt Title. So that was a waste of time. I never would have driven to see the car if the report had said it was a Rebuilt Title.
So carVerticle gave me a second report for free. That one came back wrong as well. It showed NO LIENS. The owner again told me there is a lien on the car and it would have to be removed before I bought the car. Again, a false report from car Verticle.
So two reports, both showing NO issues, and both were wrong. Waste of money. Don't trust the report.
Answer: It is a scam! Gave me no specific information about my vehicle at all
