Workers were very professional and got everything done in about 2 hours!
They called and was going to bring my carport but messed up on the paper work. A month later they still hadn't brought it out so my husband went and picked it up at eagle carports not elephant structures but I am satisfied with the carport just confused about the whole experience
The website was easy to use and I was able to design the carport that I wanted. It's exactly what I received as well. But during the install it was found that the size I ordered would not fit without having to modify the carport (cut the roof out around a tree). So I got stuck paying for the last 5 feet that was not installed. They did leave me the material I had paid for, so I intend on finishing it myself. I believe that although it's 'custom' the extra pieces (truss) could have been used on any 20' wide carport and the (legs) on any carport with a height of 10' or shorter. Overall the install was fast and professional.
I went to the carport.com site, and ordered a carport (carport.com is Elephant Structures). They said it would be about 6 to 8 weeks for delivery, and required a 10% deposit. Seemed fair enough. When the 8 weeks was up, I called and asked where it was. They said it would be another 3 weeks, and they needed another 40% for a deposit. They required 50% deposit on custom sizes. That was the first I had heard that it was a custom size (20' wide, 24' long, and 7' high sides). I didn't feel comfortable giving them a 50% deposit, and I wouldn't have ordered it if I knew that was the deal. I cancelled my order, and they refused to refund my deposit. I tried to reason with them, but they just quit responding to my emails. I wish I would have checked with the Better Business Bureau first, because I have since found that they have several complaints similar to mine.
Simple but i forgot to add the ancors they need to be up front about the way you are to pay i would have ben ready to pay with out extra costs
The product was better than i expected

Very nice build. I requested info on delivery about 2 weeks after the order was placed and got no response at all.

Would like liked to see typical/ basic comparisons in height and length for vehicle types to decide if needed wider or longer carport. Also a snow and wind rating would add reassurance in purchase.

I am very satisfied with the product. It was scheduled on august 6th but they arrived a day early which was a pleasant surprise! The workers completed the installation as promised within an hour. My neighbor saw it and said he was going home to order one for his carport. Thank you for a great product

Ordering online kept sending me back to "start," but I persevered.
First time buyer, so ordering was a bit confusing. I ordered a 12x20 thinking the base would be 12x20 when in fact the base was 12x19. The guidelines probably explained that the base of a 12x20 was 12x19 and I just missed it. I had to do some modification to the dog kennel that it covers but it worked out.
The gentleman that erected it were excellent. I have nothing but praise for them.
I am considering another cover and will keep you in mind.
