Book Outlet

Having ordered from Book Outlet for years, I expected some consideration when I send them a photo of a torn book cover from their latest shipment. They basically blew me off - no offer to replace upon return or even the slightest credit.

I've ordered books from BO a few times now. Sometimes the shipping takes a little longer than I'd like. This particular order was surprisingly fast. For the most part the books arrived in very good condition. One was a little more tattered than I'd like, but considering it's a book outlet, not anymore than I'd expect.

I have received books that were on fair condition and I have reached out to BO. They exchange them with no issues. I sent them pictures and they sent me a new copy in nearly excellent condition.
Customer service is always wonderful when working with BO.

Not sure what's going on? I spent 170$ on books from here and shipping took forever for a week it went back and forth from different places in florida until a few days ago said it couldn't be delivered. Have called "customer service number" the first time said they couldn't take calls because their employees were in training? Second time I was "next In que line" but still said sorry they couldn't get to me try again later and hung up on me. If I was next in line why couldn't I just wait? I have send a request for help on email still haven't heard back. This is very disappointing.

I normally buy my books from another website but decided to give this site a try since it was $5.99 a book. I just got my order. The books are brand spanking new. I was so utterly shocked and excited. Will definitely buy my books here from now on. Thank you so much for high quality books at a great price.

I've ordered form here many times a mever had an issue until recently. While I know this was their problem to begin with. I can't be more than impressed with their rapid responses from customer service. A book I ordered didn't come in and they covered all costs to get it to me, on an order than got free shipping due to a promo. They responded quickly and sorted out the problem to no extra cost to me, also offering a refund. Excellent experience with them. Will continue to order from here.

I ordered 2 books at a total cost of $28.39 and received an email advising one of the books cannot be shipped. I tried to cancel the order online, but that is not possible. I called the book outlet and said I should have been notified BEFORE the order was sent that not all the books were available because I didn't want to pay $21.05 for one book. I was told they could not help me, and could not put me through to anyone who could. In future, I will order 3-4 books so if one isn't available, it is still worth the savings ordering from the book outlet. And ask - why not inform customers of short orders so they have the opportunity to cancel? And not end up paying over $20.00 for one book.

A little bit of packing material would solve a lot of problems for bookoutlet. The order I received most recently had a lot of damage because the box was too big for the amount of books I ordered. They got tossed around one too many times in transit and without any packing material at all, white a bit of damage ensued. Although not enough, of course, for bookoutlet's return policy to do anything about. Convenient.

Love shopping here for books. These books come in great condition and shipped pretty quickly at a GREAT price. I would say one thing to note if you've never ordered discount/outlet books, that they usually do have a marking(dot in marker)somewhere on the top or bottom. This doesn't bother me as the price makes it worth it and the book is fully readable. I've had multiple orders and each I've been satisfied with all of them.

I ordered a number of books earlier this month. Happy to support a local company rather than Amazon, etc. Prices were equal or better to larger online retailers. Quick free shipping with tracking. Website was easy to use and search for books. Unbeatable selection

Excellent source of quality books. The "Bargain Books" on the site are Brand New Publisher's Overstock at very reasonable prices. Shipping costs are relatively low (a flat rate for multiple books ordered together and free if order totals $35 or more). I ordered 3 1st Edition Hardback copies of books. (See photo.) Very happy with this seller.

I placed my second order at Book Outlet recently and I think that I am a fan. The prices are amazing and while the selection is a bit random, it's not hard to find something cool in most categories. I was focused on cookbooks,. Books about food,. And kids' books and I found some. Great selections. Some books arrived with stickers or price tags from other retail outlets - I just peeled those off. The downside is definitely the shipping time as one week after the shipping label has been created, my second order still has not been dropped off with USPS. I assume that book outlet saves some money by making less frequent drop shipments? I think it's worth it. I was buying gifts well in advance. Don't place an order at Book Outlet that you intend to give as a gift in one. Week or even three! Just enjoy the low prices and be patient!

When I order books as heavy as Marvel omnibus. That weighs anywhere between 5-15 pounds each you would think the company would put some kind of bubble wrap or anything around the book. For protection. Well, I ordered 3 and this company puts nothing but the books so they got all beat up to the moon and back. Corners were destroyed dust jackets were destroyed and ripped. I sent them pictures of it and they said this is acceptable per our policy. After I sent them a picture of the box see below it came in as well. That was tapped by the post office so the box didn't fall apart anymore. What a joke. I'm stuck with 3 more books coming in the mail that I'm sure will be just as poorly packaged. If the company would have at least taken some kind of responsibility and said we messed up or yeah that box was destroyed and your books got damaged. I would have been more on their side but yeah never again from them no matter how much you think your saving on books.

I made a substantial order for our family's library and it was handled with such care and speed!

Each of the boxes were filled with like-new condition books, carefully protected in transit. 16 boxes down and 3 more to go! I'm so glad I found this company!

Prices are always fantastic! I do however wish there was an easier way to narrow down the books available without having to sift through 1-100+pages. They do have a search function, but, sometimes it would be nice to have fiction subsections.

I've been buying from Book Outlet for several years now. While I love that I am able to get new books for a lot lower cost, I still get frustrated with their shipping. They don't put any packing materials in their boxes, so at least one book in my order arrives damaged every time. This most recent package had 2 damaged books out of the 7 books I ordered. While their customer service is good at either refunding your money or sending a replacement copy if they have one, I would prefer to just get the books I ordered in the condition they're supposed to be.

I got 4 books all for $24 (and that's including shipping.) the books are all in good condition as well! My package came about a week after I ordered it so I would highly recommend ordering from them. I'm definitely going to do so again.

I've purchased from the book outlet several times now. I usually buy 20+ items because the deals are so good. They have a great selection of items. I bought a bunch of highly rated cook books for my instant pot. I also bought a lot of board books and even a few toys for my baby. Its just an amazing deal every time. They ship pretty quickly and pack the box carefully. I'm happy with them and will continue to get books especially for my son as he grows!

While the wait was a little long, I managed to buy a book that would regularly cost $15.00 for around $8.00! ($13.68 USD including taxes and shipping). My product came in excellent condition and they even gave me a free bookmark :) (with a coupon for $5 off my next order!) I would definitely recommend this website to any book lover, as its like the gift that keeps on giving!
