Great overall! Processing/shipping was average. I ordered on 1/22 and received on 1/30. My box did come a little damage like it was partially opened but all the books inside were in perfect condition.

Delivery took about 10 days longer than indicated. However, this was just after Christmas and crippling snowstorms had shut down transportation across the country. I got an email saying that my package was being held at the border and custom charges may be pending. Similar to scams circulating. I contacted Book Outlet because the tracking numbers did not match. They confirmed it was likely a scam. A couple of days later, the package started moving again as weather improved.

Great prices! Great quality. Literally my only complaint would be shipping time—— but—— that's because we are all so used to Amazon two day shopping at this point in life. For the discounted price - this was worth it!

Order was placed on Nov/16 and it has not shipped since then. Today is Dec/5. Opened a ticket with customer service reply me said order lost they can ship what ever in stock. One week past, I see nothing. Send email to cs and never got their reply also my ticket was closed left the problem still open. Very very bad experience.

This was my first haul through the book outlet. I ordered 17 books and payed less than $90 for it. They arrived on day 7 from purchase to delivery. I will be a regular customer

I ordered 8 books during the $5.99 sale and paid around $35. Shipping time was almost a week. All of my books came in excellent conditions, some markings but I am guessing it is for inventory purposes.

Great deals, including a book for my book club. The whole order arrived damaged, and while there is an avenue to create a ticket describing the damage, I've tried multiple times over two days and keep getting error messages saying the page isn't responding. I have been unable to phone them during their business hours because of my work schedule.

- Bargain Books still come dented or torn instead of being charged as "Scratch and Dent".
- Longest shipping time ever.
- Some of the new Hardbacks are only a $1 cheaper than Amazon. Making a $5 shipping fee plus 2-3 weeks delivery not worth the hassle.
- Website regularly has issues, especially during Sales.
- If you purchase a book, they will refund you if it's suddenly not available. I put it in my cart and ordered it, but this doesn't mean you'll get it. They needed a better ordering system in terms of confirming your claim on a book.
- The point system can take over 2 weeks. Months, it can take months.

You get what you pay for. It was a nice 1-year run, but I'm going back to my used bookstore and Amazon for now on. Both are quicker and nearly similar priced in many regards.

While Book Outlet's selection is not vast and hitting that $35 free shipping limit is not always easy, they offer a generous loyalty program with accompanying coupons and the books themselves are in excellent condition. Don't sleep on BO!

Other than the black mark (usually on bottom) of the book, they are in wonderful shape. Easy to track your shipment if you are as freaky and impatient as I am. So close to Christmas time- but I got my books FAST! Will order from them again for sure.

This experience feels too good to be true! I purchased several books that have been on my list for awhile now, and the price I paid simply could not be matched elsewhere. The order shipped within a week.

I bought one book from here and it came in great condition! Delivery was longer than advertised, but arrived in a week which is not bad. They also gave me another coupon in the book! Am definitely going to order again from this site.

I have ordered several times and have always been happy. This time my books arrived with no packing and 2 of the paperbacks had covers that were completely bent and creased. These are gifts so a little embarrassing.

I have placed over 6 orders on book outlet. Some orders come perfect, others not so much. My recent larger order came with ripped covers, black finger prints all over the covers and pages. Wish a little more care was put into packaging and if they were ripped upon packaging, they shouldn't be sent in that condition.

Excellent customer service communication. There was a delay because of border issues that were not the fault of Book Outlet. The items arrived in excellent condition and well-packed. I will definitely order from this site again. Thank you to the representatives who assisted.

I would give 0 stars if possible. This was my first time ordering from this site and might possibly be my last. I received the box with 0 of the 8 books that I purchased. The box was completely smashed and damaged and not even taped together, causing the books to fall out somewhere during the shipping process. I spent multiple days picking which books I wanted and almost $50 on books that did not make it to my door step. I posted about my experience online and multiple people said their US orders were very similar, damaged box and/or damaged/missing books. People in Canada said they've never had an issue. I've contacted customer service but it's only been 24 hours so I haven't heard back whether I will be shipped the same books I WANTED in hopes they don't get lost again or if I'll be refunded.

This is the best site for new books. They're greatly discounted and still in amazing shape. Most will have a dot or line across the edge of the pages and/or a store sticker, but otherwise look great. Seriously can't beat the prices!
