BookingGroup now at National counter. Easy access at Newark Airport. Seamless rental. Used kiosk. Got brand new Hyundai Sonata. Fair price. Easy return. No problems. Way cheaper on this trip than Hertz my usual choice.
This company may be the least expensive option but their cancellation policy and customer service is the worst of any rental company I have gone through. My flight to Nürnberger was cancelled the day prior to my pickup date and I called only to be met with a rude customer service representative who stated they could not give me a refund but I would be able to submit a request via email and rushed me off the phone while canceling the reservation. I paid in full and submitted my request for a refund with the email showing my cancelled flight. A week later I received an email stating how they could not issue a refund because them and the rental company incur a loss of operating expenses (though I cancelled 24 hours in advance). When I was able to get a new flight I tried to contact support again to see if I could reinstate my reservation within 30 minutes of the cancellation and was told they could not. I ended up reserving a car through Expedia, which was comparable in price and my experience was the easiest to work with. They also have free cancellation through your reservation time and do not require payment until you pickup the vehicle. I was able to cancel one car two hours before pickup due to missing my connecting flight in Paris. I was then able to schedule a new vehicle and pickup time along with child seat within minutes and it took a maximum of 10 minutes to pickup the vehicle once we arrived. The price was also comparable, only £30 more for the five-day reservation. NEVER go with Economy Booking, you get what you pay for I guess.
They advertise a price and only at checkout do they include all the forced add-ons and fees (20% of quoted price). They also advertised a 7 seater + 2 bags, but it really had no luggage space. And they wouldn't allow me to rent two smaller cars instead without charging an exorbitant fee. Go direct to the car rental form.

Flew half way round the world to visit a sick relative, with rental booked at Vancouver. On arrival was told I could not have the car, as I did not have a credit card. This was not mentioned during the online booking. No offers of cash guarantee, Debit card, wife's Credit or Debit card, passport held in safe etc. etc. Were accepted. Used another rental company. Submitted complaint - and told "read the small print". Company now fails to answer all and any queries. Even worse - their UK office has been forcibly closed down as they failed to submit legally required accounts in valid timeframe. WHAT A BUNCH OF CROOKS!

I used this economy website to book a car rental recently. I had several unexpected expenses come up so I felt like I should try and save as much as possible. Big mistake. The rental fee was somewhat lower, but in the end, the hidden charges cost be more. After returning from my trip, I received a letter stating that I had over $60 in toll charges that were unpaid and would be charged to my credit card. I have driven in Dallas with rental cars for years and have never had my rental company charge me for tolls. The hidden expenses negated the savings. Named brand all the way for me getting now on.
This place & its staff is pretty amazing! They're knowledgeable about their business & they get you in there to fill out the paper work and they send you off in a rental... in barely any time at all! I'd most definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to use a rental vehicle.
I must say that this is a serious company that works without errors! I liked the car rented by me and it's good that I took a rental here
I logged a full coverage claim on August 18th, and still to the time of writing on September 14th I still haven't heard back from the company - despite both providing all necessary documents as well as attempts to contact their service department. The customer service department is non existing. If you email, zero response. If you contact them by phone then you'll just get rerouted through various pre-recorded messages. Completely useless service, book directly with the actual car rental companies to avoid the same situation I've had.

Had to throw us around to call here as another company suddenly could not deliver ordered van. Incredibly flexible and helpful. Pleasant employees with a good mood, very reasonable price, new and clean car, as well as easy-to-understand routines that made pickup and delivery easy give me top score. What more can you expect from car hire?
I've rented cars here instead of at the airport my last 3 trips to Austin. The people behind the counter are courteous and friendly, only a few customers in line if any at all. Picking up and dropping off your reserved vehicle is very quick.
I also really like that the price quoted is exactly what you pay, no hidden fees at checkout. I have rented with many rental companies including BookingGroup in the past but going forward will stick with them solely.
Best rental car experience yet. I've rented a car in Bari, Italy and Belfast, N. Ireland before both from big companies. Economybookings were amazing. Really friendly, helpful and flexible. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.
Toyota Tacoma is not recommended for if you are used to drive a full size truck but Josh was an extreme pleasure to deal with. They all work well together, Emanuel, Benjamin and the gang are all great

I am a very satisfied client. Perfect customer service. Good price, straight forward booking process. Booked two days but returned the van a day earlier and got refunded a full day. It is just horrible experience. We tried to rent a car. The money from the card was taken, but no confirmation or any details was sent!
Instead they sent me a letter called confirmation where there is only extra payment being offered. And if you accidentally press -continue in the attempt to learn more about your order it automatically adds this extra charge which I never wanted to pay in the first place!
It's really the way the frauds behave.
And in 2 days we are arriving to Milan and it seems that we will not be able to use this car which we "rented" because how are we going to find it?))) we have absolutely no information. But the money was already taken.
Everyone there is always so nice with excellent customer service and the best rentals! I've had very few bad experiences with the vehicles not the people, but each time they made it right when I returned.
