Getting into my account is easy, but some of the annual charges are way more than the introduction fees. This impacts me continuing service. I do like that I am given a heads up before I decide to continue service.
Easy to navigate and find the information I need.
I was billed 2 weeks before billing date, even though I marked my account as "do not renew automatically"!
The renewal fee is outrageously expensive, and was never mentioned when I signed up last year.
Then I was locked out of y account.
So disappointed from your service!
Frustrating time getting a staging site created (manually by support agents) and now pushed to production (also manually by agents). It turns out I was hitting a storage quota limit preventing the push, but now that that has been resolved, I'm still working through one problem after another, with each agent making some progress but also pretty motivated to get off the chat within 5 minutes. Somebody is pushing the wrong metrics for support agents...
Your shared resources hosting is so terrible that even basic website solutions does not work - it is not accordingly to your marketing and customer expectations. Only way how to solve this issue (which is as you probably know, equal to not working business due to slow page load time) is to upgrade into dedicated resources - those are heavily overpriced compared to your competitors. Whole logic of luring customers for affordable hosting and then try to sell him overpriced product is not only annoying, but seen as a unethical manipulation to get customers into a corner where they simply have to pay. What to do: Make your cross-sells and up-sells more fair.
Dont give this company your debit card details. We closed our account with them 2 years ago. They just took 230 euro from our account. One day after another we had to freeze our account and report them for fraud. You cant call them and the online chat is a joke, they admitted we did not owe them anything and said would resolve within 24 hours that was 5 days ago.
The support has been great and very helpful. I just think it would be useful to have some of the steps showing in a guide somewhere to save me pestering the helpline guys all the time. Some things are not obvious.
I've been having issues with accessing with my WordPress site, but no one can fix it. I kept getting answers that state there's nothing wrong on your end. I'm really frustrated. I've been patient trying to get the issue resolved. It's been a week now.
Completely useless and obnoxious chat that auto loads.
Account management is a mess.
Domain management is far less intuitive
I know I've come across other frustrating aspects of the new interface, they're just not coming to mind
Do not use the chat. They have a script, they follow it and they give up when it's too hard. I asked for help, spent over half an hour with them and when I requested some different information they just kept telling me what they thought was best instead of listening. I found an article and figured it out all by myself in the long run, but they wasted my time pretending to be helpful. The fake annoying customer service answers didn't help my disdain either.
It was one of their articles I eventually found that was helpful, I will give them that. The chat person could have sent that to me, but 🤷
I feel as if there is an overly complicated logging in process - i have to click on so many different buttons to just get to edit my website - why not just one? Also have to scan through to find the click here kind of text which is buried under a whole page of info and is just (small) bold text rather than an actual 'button' would also appreciate being able to easily access my email directly from my wp dashboard
I keep getting an Ad when I log in, but I've already declined. Yet the Ad keeps popping up for some reason. Please make it go away, as a paid customer I should not have to see the same Ad more than once.
I am just out here spinning my wheels. Hours and hours of getting nothing done. I can't find a theme that I like, nor can I see what I am doing. I have been at this for months. I want and elegant, professional website with the following pages: About, Blog, Contact, Events and Shop.
What I don't want is to spend any more time jumping through hoops. I am also very confident that this message will just end up in the cyber forever world.
You have chat boxes on each page that you claim to be able to help a novice. Not so, Of all the times I've gone in a chat box, ONE lady helped me. Everyone else claims it's not their dept. after wasting a LOT of my time.
You just charged my card for an SSL certificate I did not want on first instance. I did contact you one and a half month ago through your chat to disable renewal of this product. Your agent confirmed it was disabled and will not be charged to my card. He showed me that "my products screen" has not checked the option to purchase the certificate. I am pretty angry with your service.
-My billing is always kinda a mess. Getting charged before the date, getting multiple notifications that indicate that a bill is overdue or due when it isn't.
-All of the emails register as suspicious from our addresses from here.
-When logging in all employees get a message that they are about to enter a suspicious site which looks bad on us.
-I have to click through that ad for upping my security every single time I log in. That's just way too much.
Hi,
Did mention the fact that photos on our hosted site are not loading proper, take time to all load
The problem still persists
What can you do to change this, make our site professional again?
Thanks
Willie
There are so many moving parts with setting up your website, that it can be overwhelming even for a person with a computer science degree. Things are not clear cut as one would hope with wordpress and installing themes. I used a theme initially set up my site, but my pages do not correlate to my themes pages. Very strange.
My website goes down every other day im paying for support but cant seem to find anyone that can fix anything that lasts for more than a day or so, sent multiple tickets for help and nothing has been done, very poor service.
Terrible hosting services. My website has been unsecured since I had it open. Email doesn't load in time so I've missed many opportunities. Worst hosting platform. None of the techs can map me through to identify the issue.
Will need some clarity on building the site. There are some initial tasks whereas I need to know. Also, the site locked me out several times, and calculated five times, when I attempted to enter with the correct password. Interestingly strange.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
