Bluehost provided the best overall experience I have ever had when it comes to establishing a new domain and associated email addresses. The site was extremely easy to use, and the customer service team was incredibly helpful in answering my questions and helping me resolve a technical issue (an issue that was all my doing by the way).
I highly recommend Bluehost to all of my friends, family and anyone looking for a better overall experience!
This agent was accommodating unlike others who just state your rules and all...who insist on that without deep understanding of the problem...please equip your agents of expertise
Finally after 8 months of %ell, a rep knew what he was doing and hopefully solved the issues with knowledge, grace & kindness! Overall, this company's tech problems and poor customer service are a very real problem.
The customer service rep was outstanding in her role and did everything possible to accommodate my request. Although I was hoping for a larger refund, she worked diligently within her limits. Great job and keep up the good work!
Joe was very helpful, he was clear and offered relative advice to help me get my website up. He also followed up with an email so I can easily follow through on what he recommended.
The Free Website Guys are really free. Sven Nilsen did an awesome job and is genuinely a nice guy. They built the website in a step-by-step process and sent me videos with instructions for certain steps. They even show you how to make changes after the site is completed. I liked them so much that I even recommended them to someone I know. Great job!
I'm dropping this review to warn you all: this company is seriously scammy.
My experience with their hosting service was nothing short of a disaster. From day one, my sites suffered from endless loading issues, constant crashes, and customer support that was robotic and utterly unhelpful. I can't recommend their service.
Heads Up: If you're considering Bluehost, keep in mind it's under the same Newfold Digital umbrella as iPage, so the same issues might come along.
Products Used: 3-year hosting service
I tried Bluehost for my website, and honestly, it was a frustrating experience. The uptime was inconsistent, and my site had unexpected downtimes. The loading speeds were slower than I expected, which affected my SEO rankings. For the price i expected better performance and reliability. I wouldn't recommend Bluehost if you're serious about website speed and stability.
I would not recommend this company to any associates or cpany partners due to poor customer service experience. Mist reps are unfamiliar with the products and se4vixes
This is lost revenue for the company. It's a nightmare to handle issues.
Scam like business; "hit and run " businesses; they have a link with other "tool web site" that don't exist.
Bought theirs "services " and I give up using after 30 min!
Asked for money back … "run Forest, run " like business.
There is no one zero star options
Now all "on line" business are scam like "business", that's way is cheap to have a VPN.
It is not at all obvious how to add a database to a website, so I purchased one month of their professions designer support. They had no clue how to help. I have since hired an independent consultant and he is working through it.
When logging in, you asked for a verification code which said it was sent to ***.com. I think most emails end in.com. There should have been clues as the beginning to at least show the first few letter or first and last letters of the email.
I've been trying to get my sites online for over a week. One of them was online but suddenly disappeared, then was fixed and reappeared, now it's gone again. The one site is my livelihood; I can't have it going down all the time! I'm very frustrated at this point.
It's easy to get a nice-looking website online with very little time, so I can spend more time creating content to post instead of worrying about web design. Very user friendly. The only thing I don't like is how much it costs to renew after the initial great price.
Does what I want, menus OK. Not happy about "low-low-intro prices, then much more expensive", or constant up-selling "protect yourself! Buy this NOW!". Most people just want reliable service at a fair price.
I've noticed a pattern where tech staff offer a solution, close the chat, but the problem isn't actually solved. This means I have to re-contact support and explain the situation again, which is inconvenient.
I don't like how I have gotten 15 calls today since buying a domain yesterday.
I feel strong-armed into your $15/mo. "privacy protection" when it's probably you that are selling my info to these so-called developers from overseas. Stop it. You got my money now, leave me alone.
Getting into my account is easy, but some of the annual charges are way more than the introduction fees. This impacts me continuing service. I do like that I am given a heads up before I decide to continue service.
Easy to navigate and find the information I need.
I was billed 2 weeks before billing date, even though I marked my account as "do not renew automatically"!
The renewal fee is outrageously expensive, and was never mentioned when I signed up last year.
Then I was locked out of y account.
So disappointed from your service!
Frustrating time getting a staging site created (manually by support agents) and now pushed to production (also manually by agents). It turns out I was hitting a storage quota limit preventing the push, but now that that has been resolved, I'm still working through one problem after another, with each agent making some progress but also pretty motivated to get off the chat within 5 minutes. Somebody is pushing the wrong metrics for support agents...
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
