Customer service is terrible when you are trying to troubleshoot Model 2156W, a machine that simply quit working shortly after the 1-year warrant expired. Two whole suggestions: 1. Check the extension cord. 2. Try another outlet in your house. This is on the fourth call to customer service after twice having my call cut off.
There's no way to get to the motor without breaking open the plastic housing. The machine has hardly been used. They offered me 20 percent off of another purchase since the warranty was up. Why would I buy another one, even with a 50 percent discount?
Purchased a spinwave late December 2022. As of this date, there have been several emails, calls, etc to the misnamed customer service. Machine worked well for about a month then stopped dispensing cleaning solution in mop mode and the front wheel keeps falling off.
The app describes the cleaning solution remedy - which was followed twice without effect and no mention of the front wheel issue.
Stay away from this company - worst I have ever dealt with.
Going to throw my machine in the trash where it belongs and purchase the irobot 7+ combo that I should have in the first place.@#$* off bissell
The customer service is of no value what so ever. They are from the Philippines and all they do is read a script. No knowledge of anything about the. Products. They sent a fed ex label for shipping return. To which now there is no record.
The product had a part that was unable to connect correctly. After 5 phone calls a new handle was shipped again did not work 4 more calls later another handle shipped. It didn't work either called customer service and was told to do all kinds of ridiculous things. That they were told has already been done multiple times. I returned the item with their fed ex label and now they have no record of the fed ex label or returned shipment. They are refusing to refund my money.
They promise delivery dates they do not meet, customer service has no idea what is going on and they charge a return fee even though they failed to deliver anywhere close to on time. That is why Amazon is destroying distribution channels like these.
Bought the product and the vacuum is OK, but it. Only comes With 4 disposable Swiffer Bissell Steamboost disposable pads, and 2 washable microfiber pads. The microfiber pads suck. The disposable pads are much better, but there's one BIG PROBLEM, you cannot get refills! The only way to buy the disposable pads is to buy a $50 bundle that only provides 4 disposable pads and the plastic bottom tray for the vac/mop. $50! If you have the vac/mop, you DO NOT NEED another bottom tray because that already comes with the vac/mop. So essentially, you are paying $50 for a useless piece of plastic and 4 disposable swiffer pads. And let me add that you cannot use any other pads with the vac/mop! So good luck with a virtually useless product!
I would give there products a 5 star review but I think s big company like Bissell would strive to make there products last longer the problem is there hoses. They always break from usage
I have a Bissell Pet Hair Eraser that I have used for several years. I'm a disabled veteran who is in a wheelchair and the vacuum cleaner has been perfect for me. When the power foot quit working, I contacted customer service. They paid for FedEx to pick it up and as soon as they got it, they sent me a replacement vacuum that was new. I have been extremely satisfied with customer service and what they did for me.
If you buy from the bissell website as a non-member vs as a member, you'll get different pricing-- and not always better for members. For example, as a non-member you can use most online coupon codes and get 10-20% off many items. But as a member you're often given an automatic "member discount" on items (usually 5%) that disqualifies those items from online coupon codes ("coupon codes do not apply to discounted items"). Be sure to check both member and non-member prices before buying online-- I saved $56 on a single purchase by simply logging out of my bissell customer account and using a coupon code. (You become a "member" when you create an account or log into your account when making purchases.)
I purchased a product that didn't work. I had to negotiate for days to get Bissell to pay return shipping costs. I had to follow up to prove that it had been returned to the depot. They said the tracking number on the email was blurry - for goodness sakes! I have rung them, written countless emails, and had fruitless conversations designed to stall, frustrate and make getting a refund difficult. DO NOT BUY FROM BISSELL. Products are $#*!e and customer service none existent
Do not order from their website. I tried to order the big green machine through PayPal and it was supposed to charge me four separate payments. Instead it charged me for the full amount for 423 plus 2 payments of 106.00(two of the four payments that was supposed to be spread out in four weeks). I told them to cancel the whole order they said it would take two weeks to give me a refund. Two weeks! I have a dispute open with PayPal as well as my bank. Be very careful ordering from their site. You will be overcharged.
I purchased the Bissell Crosswise Hf3 a few months ago. My roller needs changing and my filter. I have gone online to every store imaginable and there are no parts available. I called Bissell company itself and was told the rollers and filters will not be available for 2 months. So much for this great vacuum. What good is it if they don't make the rollers and filters? Do not buy this item. The company could care less.
I tried, unsuccessfully, to "catch" an order that I had just placed and change the delivery address on it. I chatted with a robot who was programed to answer All my pertinent questions, I sent a text, which was answered by another text, telling me they did not have the capability to change an address on an order that had already been placed. I was referred to "corporate office" and put on hold for 20 minutes! I eventually hung up and tried their "customer service" number listed on their website. I received yet another text. After all this, I have a package going to another state that will be left on the doorstep of the new homeowners who will then have to see about returning a package that the parent company was unable to make an address change on. Unbelievable! I have never dealt with such stupidity.
Bought an upholstery spot cleaner that failed to spray within 1 year (Model *******G). Reached out to product support, they sent me the troubleshooting guide for low pressure spray. This did not work, so they recommended a Bissell service center. Nearest one was 150 miles away.
So, silly me, I thought I had a lemon and bought another one (5207G). I was this time very careful to thoroughly rinse out the spray nozzle after each use with clean water.
The same. Exact. Failure. Happened again within a year. Reached out to product support and they sent me the same guide which was not helpful and then recommended a local service center 150miles away... When I asked if there was another option they offered me 20% off my next purchase with "free shipping."
No thanks. Garbage product. Garbage support.
You will never receive a cent of my money again.
I phoned Bissell's Customer Service this evening
(September 4,2021) at approximately 7:30pm EST, at telephone # *******691. I had a couple of questions regarding the vacuum I intend on purchasing.
The agent couldn't even answer the phone correctly. Upon answering, all I could hear was what sounded like either the phone being dropped numerous times, or the agent running into objects/walls with the phone, or both.
Eventually, the agent introduced himself as Alex. He then asked me for my first name... Which I had to repeat to him two times.
I'm not sure if I woke the guy up, if he was drunk or high, or all of the aforementioned. At that point, I hung up on the agent and am now considering whether or not to go through with my intended purchase.
In other words, I didn't get to talk to anyone who came close to Cathy Bissell... Not that I expect Cathy to answer the phone, but a somewhat likeable personality/voiced person who can properly answer a phone would certainly be nice!
I purchased a 350.00 product on dec.2nd.it arrived on dec. 6. i put it in the closet till dec. 25 and gave it to my wife for christmas. Upon using it a week after she opened it, she just didn't like it.we called bissel to return it and they won't honor it cause the 30 day return had ran out on jan. 5th. How is that fair to any customer? This 30 day policy was falsely advertised to me. I will never deal with Bissel again. Hopefully you won't either.
Called customer service maybe four times. Was told they didn't have the screws, then told they did have them and shipping out to me and expect to get them in 7-10 business days. Its been well over a month and no screws and no explanation or concern by bissell customer service. I called them back and was told the screws were on back order. When I asked why they told me 7-10 days, all I got was a BS copout answer. I normally won't write negative reviews, but this has to be the worse unprofessional customer care of any business I have ever dealt with.
I purchase a hose in October. Over the phone. Never received it. Bissell got my money. I called November. I was told called later. I called December Herod phone not to call back. I called January just told I can't get my refund back cuz it's over 30 days. If they would have took care of me and November it would have been past 30 days. The Bissell pocket my money and I got screwed
I will never buy from this company again $500 and it is cheap plastic with very little suction and 4 small bottles of solution for $500, you would think they would give the 64oz. If I could get my money back I wouldn't think twice. "Beware."
The concept of the Little Green Machine is awesome. What would be more awesome would be if they worked. I have purchased TWO little green machines.
My first machine's dirty tank cracked. I contacted customer service, they said I had to buy & replace tank. I did. Bottom of tank started leaking. They said it couldn't be fixed and I'd have to order a new machine. No offer for reimbursement.
My husband ordered me a new machine. I have kept this one absolutely spotless. I deep clean the deep cleaning machine after every use (ironic). The bottom of the tank started leaking on this one as well, along with the trigger on the spray nozzle no longer working. I contacted Bissell. They said my one year warranty went out a month ago all they could offer is 20% off a new purchase for a third machine! I have already spent over $200 on machines that keep breaking and all they are willing to do is offer me $20 towards a new one. They won't even look at the machine to possibly fix it.
What a joke to have to buy a new machine every year. After reading other reviews, it seems this is their tactic with all customers. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand.
My grandmother purchased a vacuum and couldn't return it within the purchase year due to covid and they won't even replace the broken vacuum! It does not hold a charge at all and has no use or function. Called customer service for them to offer a 20% discount code... really? That's all? I can find that discount code with a google search. Poor poor customer service. Will not be purchasing from them again.
Answer: Just I called and I did not have to wait to get a person and not like answer automatic voice, the person was very nice and kind and after the call i got an email and Bissel keep me informed about my request. It was so easy to get customer service.
