Did not receive my appliance. Ordered on line a 27 inch double walled Bosch oven. No contacts given about availability. If not available please cancel my order. Not very professional since no contact by email or phone
Great website and prices. I've contacted the Helpdesk twice via emails and I received immediate and excellent service. My only regret was not finding this site earlier.
I ordered two toilets which I paid for back in December 2022. I still have not received one of the toilets. Poor customer service and follow through.
As advertised.
No problems whatsoever.
I would do it again.
Great company.
Sales was fast, easy to order, and delivery was fast.
Very easy purchase and arrived quicker than expected
Over all the experience was good, the installation guys had a challenge working with the gas lines, they were going to leave without installing it because they said the goes size were off, I had to read the installation instructions to help them out
I am a first-time customer of appliancesconnection.com. I am a hardworking public school employee who received a $100 gift card from a family in appreciation. I saved this gift card for many months and finally decided to use it to purchase some dining room table chairs from appliancesconnection - I loved that their online system allowed me to use two credit cards. I typed in all of the information requested from the gift card and received a confirmation from appliancesconnection.com. I, then, threw away the gift card (lesson learned). Well...two days later, they email me to let me know there is an issue with billing. They requested more detail about the gift card that I no longer had in my possession. In this experience, the customer service representatives (including the supervising manager) told me that there was nothing they could do about it: they could not provide me information about the gift card so I could follow up with Visa nor did they honor any request for a discount given the hassle and error from their business website. The supervising manager actually blamed me for throwing the gift card away after using it and stated, "If you don't want to hear it straight forward the way it is, then don't ask me. There is nothing we can offer you."
He claimed that there was nobody else I could speak with about this matter except the CEO. Visa was not able to help me further without the first six digits of the gift card, which appliancesconnection.com would not share with me; Visa customer service assured me that this is information that is commonly released to customers and would be helpful to identify the bank which this card was tied to.
I am really frustrated - a $100 gift of appreciation down the drain. Obviously, I canceled the order, as I do not want to give this business anymore of my money or time.
Early March 2023 I purchased a coin operated washing machine from AC. When it finely arrived over 10 days late I discovered that the coin slot was not working. It took me some time and effort to find out as to why. Reason was that the coin slot was not set for American quarters.
When I wrote AC they delayed and delayed. Finely after 1 month they send me an old coin slot what would only take 6 quarters so $1.50. No help to install it was offered. I wrote AC again. No response. Only after I opened a case in PayPal early May, started they to respond by saying that I should return the machine.
If you want a reliable machine do not buy from this company. My machine is still not working and it is now over 2 months.
Two days ago we got delivered and installed a Bosch dishwasher. The technicians got the test going and left the place. My husband then notices that the dishwasher was leaking all the water and runs outside to stop the delivery men. They came back see the mess and say that they will send a technician with a new part to fix the dishwasher and left. We call customer service because we payed full price for a brand new dishwasher and we got a defective one. Long story short we have called multiple times customer service, last of them saying "I'm not saying that you're lying but" I doubt the technicians told you that. Since we "accepted" the delivery they won't take any accountability and can only send a person to repair their broken merchandise. So we get a refurbished dishwasher for the price of a brand new one.
I bought a washer and dryer and it has been 2 months and it is still not installed correctly. Do not care too much about customer satisfaction.
I am giving it 2 stars because their support team is decent.
* The warehouse is in New Jersey, so even if "In stock", it will take 2-3 weeks to arrive to CA, then another 1-2 for scheduling an installation.
* Using a 3rd party company for the installation
I had multiple issues with the delivery and installation. Every time, I had to wait another 2-3 weeks for another installation slot. I won't bother you with the details, but the main issue is that they are using a 3rd party company for their installation.
Better to buy elsewhere! Costco or Home Depot. I learned my lesson, never again.
I received your email with all the instructions on what to for on delivery and I instructed my wife what to do.The package was delivered and left out in the snow with no call or knock on the door. The box was pretty we on the top but everything was ok inside.
Great support on questions regarding purchase and delivery. Delivery was quick and it arrived a day ahead of the anticipated date.
Easy to track and Appliances Connection checking back with me along the way from initial purchase to delivery.
The cord on the dishwasher is too short even though the electrical outlet is right next to the dishwasher. Now I have an extension chord under the kitchen sink. Not cool and probably not safe. Other than that everything is good.
Like the company, but unless you have a lot of time to wait for your appliances best to get them elsewhere...
Appliance Connection is not too bad, but I am not sure I would do business with them again. Initially, I was having difficulty getting a Rangetop, but I think all Appliance centers were having similar issues. However with Appliance Connection, they would advertise a product as "available". What this actually means is that they have a business connection to the Manufacturer where they can get the product, IF IT IS AVAILABLE AND IN STOCK. This company does not say anything like "Not available" or "not in stock". This is where they get you. You end up waiting for months for a product to arrive and if you are lucky, it either gets delivered or you end up canceling the order and going somewhere else. This much I will say, unlike Best Buy, Appliance Connection will not charge your credit card until the product is either ready to be directly shipped to you or it has actually been delivered. They seem to be a little slow in responding to order problems, probably because they get so many order inquiries. Since this was my first time buying appliances for many years, even before Coronavirus, I guess this is how it's done now, which I am not to enthused by. The one big positive about Appliance Connection is that the website is a great reference tool for research of products, since they have so much to potentially offer. I tried ordering appliances several times, only to cancel them later, because they kept delaying shipment of those appliances. One thing to be on the lookout for is their supposed discount price. I would go to the Manufacturers website and I think you will see that their price is usually less than Appliance Connection, becsuse Appliance Connection will artificially increase the price to make it look like you are getting a great deal.
I'd give tt 5 stars except the directions to reset the regulator valve was terrible and I couldn't unerstand it (look it up on utube and its clearly explained) also I can't find a slot screwdriver to buy that is less than 0.105" diameter and 3 inches long to reset the orifices.
Why didn't they send one with the kit? Couldn't cost more than a dollar and now I can't complete the
Installation. Otherwise the propane stove was just as advertised and I'm happy with it.
I didn't do my research on this company before I ordered from them and went only on Google Reviews. Check out their reviews on the BBB before you make any decisions, like we should have.
If you want the TL; DR of the 1 star rating, here it is:
Summary:
5 appliances ordered
None of them on time
3 damaged or not working correctly
0 responsibility on the part of AC
Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs.
If you want the blow by blow, here's what happened.
1. The appliances did not, in fact, come in anywhere close to projected dates. We let this go, because that is just how it is with supply chain shortages. Oh well.
2. Our washer and dryer come in first. One of them is scratched. It's in a spot we can't see it, and they offer a $75 credit. Oh well. What happens next is not okay.
3. When our dishwasher finally comes in, it's installed incorrectly. Wish I could add photos here because it was so bad. Instead of taking responsibility, AC basically says, too bad. Your choices are to request a refund or wait an indeterminate amount of time without a dishwasher until we can get a new one (we can't say when that will be). We won't "rent" you a dishwasher in the meantime (i.e. You can't keep the one we installed, even though we took out a perfectly operational one you had to install it). Then it gets worse. After I escalate this to the BBB and they finally respond, they not only remove our dishwasher without providing a new one, but remove it in such a fashion that it floods and damages our kitchen floors. I have yet to hear back from them about how they will address that.
4. We get a range from them an 1 burner doesn't work. They send out someone to repair it, now 4/5 of the burners don't work.
Answer: The estimated delivery date is fairly accurate when applied to items that are already in stock at our warehouse (please note, this does not apply to items that are listed as Available). Please note, at the end of the day, it is still an estimate it can be subjected to changes, and not a definite timeframe.
Answer: STAY AWAY! We just ordered a $3,000 range from Appliance Connection. The range came damaged. The instructions say to start by removing the door. When the installer did this, the spring in the door bracket popped. First off, when you call you cannot talk to a person to report a defect. You have to use their ticket system. After a month of back and forth with their stupid ticket system, and the agent(s) contradicting themselves, they told us that it is obviously an installation problem, and they weren't going to help. Is this how you treat someone who just spent $3,000 at your store.
Answer: We ship over 1.6 million orders per year. Of those shipments, you have viewed an iota of complaints against our company. Likewise, the positive reviews also outweigh the negative reviews. It seems that you have signed for the delivery without inspecting the delivery, as we have advised you to inspect it prior to accepting delivery. With our agreements with the manufacturers, if there are any issues with the appliances, they would first be subjected to an assessment by a manufacturer certified technician. If the unit is truly, in fact, defective, they will replace the unit. If you are shipping the product back to us, we will provide a refund once confirmation is available that it is en route back to us.
