Amazon review is not showing as a "Verified Purchase" even when the book is bought from Amazon from my account. I purchased a hardcover version and left the review on that same version. Customer support via chat, email, and Twitter have been totally unhelpful and have just been passing the buck! This is totally unacceptable! This is not a one-off case; I know many people going through this same issue.
If anyone from the Amazon team is reading this please do something about it.
Amazons delivery service has become pathetic. The delivery agents make half hearted attempts to contact late at night and say delivery attempted,could not reach you and the delivery gets delayed until it is cancelled. And customer service is not much help as they are apparently not in direct contact with delivery agents. Pathetic. I wish I had placed the order on flipkart. Could have saved myself the wait
Thus is my go to site for any kind of purchase whenever I have to buy anything. Be it from pin pen to beds and Mattresses I know I will get a wide variety of goods at competive prices. Customer Service is quite prompt and helpful and returns are smooth and hassle free usually
I ordered a fan from seller RetailEZ Private Ltd on 2nd September 2022. It was a same day rush order delivery. It has yet not even been dispatched till 21st September 2022. I have pressed the cancel button at least 20 times but it just says "Attempting to Cancel"
In the meanwhile I have contacted Amazon at least 10 times on chat and phone to try and cancel the order and get the refund. So far nothing has worked. They just keep on making false promises. It was a good company once but not it has turned into a lethargic company where people do nothing else other than to lie to customers.
I have ordered several items from Amazon India. I recently had one item show delivered, but it never showed. I also had one order that arrived incomplete. I wrote to Amazon India, but they never responded. When I wrote a bad review, they told me they would not post my review because it talked about the product, the seller, or delivery issue. Crazy
I have been a customer of Amazon India for quite a few years now. I live abroad and usually place orders before my arrival. My delivery destination is Panaji-Goa. In the past, I have had a couple of problems with deliveries which were reported to your customer service and refund issued but they were minor compared to other one I just had to go through.
I have had a very nasty experience with your service for the orders I placed in August and September of 2024.
Following are the dates with order amounts:
10/08/24 – Rs 3,793.35
26/08/24 – Rs 5,645.00
02/09/24 – Rs 19,382.00
06/09/24 – Rs 3,149.25
Just so you know, this totals to Rs 31,969.60 of which I received a refund of Rs 18,037. This amounts to a staggering 56%.
Only one order of Rs 2,450 was a result of Seller not being able to source the product I ordered while the rest of them were because the final delivery could not be made. This puts down the Refund % due to Amazon Initiated Returns at 53%.
All of the refunds are shown as RETURNS by Customer while in reality it is because your staff was not able to make the final delivery.
I was in constant touch with your customer service and each time they told me that the item has been damaged during shipment. I don't think this is true because your excellent tracking system shows the item was received at final distribution location in PANAJI-GOA. I cant believe that someone in customer service hasn't noticed that 53% of my orders were as a result of Returns Initiated by Amazon. With so many of my orders being returned by your delivery staff, I feel that I was being selectively targeted. I don't know anyone who works at Amazon India, let alone at the distribution center in Panaji-Goa so I cannot understand why I was being targeted.

Placed an order no 171-xxxxx-xxx326 on 6th Oct, 24 for groceries under "Fresh" category with delivery scheduled between 2 P.M. to 6 P.M. on 7th Oct, 24. As usual, the delivery did not materialize in the stipulated time. Repeated follow ups on 7th Oct, 24 with the customer service agents at Amazon resulted in different time line and delivery status. On 8th Oct, 24 the Amazon web page indicated a revised delivery date, i.e 11th Oct, 24. Subsequent requests over phone and vide chat box to the customer service agents for immediate cancellation and full refund of the order was not complied as the agents insisted that I need to wait until 11th Oct before the order can be CANCELLED and refund initiated to my account within 5 business days. The customer service agents do not pick up the phone and communicate internally with the delivery team. This silo approach mentality in the Amazon team is only causing further agony to its customers.
Why would Amazon need to unilaterally extend delivery time line without intimation to the Customer and keep the Customer's payment in its account for additional xx days?
The track record of Amazon for prompt delivery of items ordered under the "fresh" category is pathetic.
It is high time that as Customers, we shift our orders to more reliable platforms such as Flipkart, Big Basket and Jio Mart who have a better delivery performance and are customer focused.
Placed Order # 171-5616049-0403504 on 8th Sep, 2024 for groceries under "Fresh" category and delivery was scheduled between 2 P.M. - 6 P.M. on 09th Sep, 2024. As of this moment, i.e 8:30 P.M. on 09th Sep, 2024, there is no true feedback from the customer support at Amazon on the delivery status of the order in spite of 7 phone conversations during the last 24 hours. Each individual from the customer support at Amazon has a different story for this delayed delivery and each time the revised delivery schedule has not been adhered by Amazon. The web page of Amazon now indicates the revised delivery date for the ordered groceries as 13th Sep, 2024. The only options available to me as a customer is to either CANCEL the order and wait for a refund which would take another 3 - 4 working days OR wait until 13th Sep, 2024 for the delivery of the ordered groceries.
Delivery performance of the desi brands, i.e Flipkart / Big Basket / Jiomart for groceries is far better as compared to Amazon. The customer support at Amazon is unable to provide a valid reason for the delays and can just communicate like BOTS without offering a resolution for the delayed delivery.
These $#*!s are trying to fool people by showing sale prices, however when comes to delivering the product they cancel it, I ordered phone during sale which was in discount however these morons cancelled it on the last day of delivery! Seriously guys I can't expect this kinda ridiculous services from Amazon! It's over never gonna shop here again! Thank u
Very 3rd grade service my order# **************118 their agent without visiting to me remarks that reciepent reject to accept. Better than amazon local shopping apps like meesho myntra etc. Are the best. Playstore doesnt have zero star option eighter i would have been given that for their 3rd class service.
This website is cheating both sellers and the consumers, what they do is replace the real products with fake one or cheap ones specially with similar names to avoid being sued, its just a matter of time before they piss off some rich guys and get thrown out of india for running a con products site.
I am a very regular customer of Amazon. I am ordering almost anything and everything from them since last two years including groceries. So far not much complaints. Their return policy is very good compared to all other sites I have used. I had very bad experience with Flipkart. Lost Rs 2500. Ridiculous customer service. So after that stopped using them. Amazon has started using deception and seems like now they are more focused on helping the seller sell the items then their customers. Being a customer of Amazon for last 5 years, I am really sorry to see this from Amazon. One of the reasons people buy expensive stuff from Amazon without looking in person or talking to anyone is the trust people have on Amazon and the fact that Amazon would return the product if there is wrong from seller side. But now seems like they don't care. So, I would suggest people to buy their stuff directly from a store. At least you will know exactly what you are buying and clear any questions you might have. Seeing this I am also thinking about removing my services from AWS and suggest the same to my clients and vendors.

It is always a pleasure shopping on the Amazon India website. I find the process very very simple and the delivery is so prompt. They let you know when the items will arrive and till now - every time, it has arrived within the time frame mentioned by them.
It has been nearly 3 weeks amazon india site is not taking international debit cards, Everytime customer service people says that they are working on this issue. Give us 48 hours. Some even mention why i do not take indian credit cards. How people overseas takes indian credit cards. Why they are not honest in telling the real issue.

I actually dislike the dishonesty of Amazon, i was charged twice for the product, cash was collected as well as the same amount was charged in my debit card. After several back and forth with their customer service first i was assured the money will be refunded then after 10 days i was told they never got the money from the bank despite me showing them proof of the charge from the bank. They are ruining the reputation of a good outstanding American company with their dishonesty and poor customer service in India. I will post this on all social media. I have ordered a lot from them and this is how they treat their customers. Shame in them. I can also share the order number. The product delivered was cheap quality as well
I booked a tab to gift my daughter. We got it, later there was a problem with display, in < 3 months So I took the tab to the authorised service station. There they said, there is no warranty for this. When asked the reason, they simply said, someone already opened it. I. Surprised. When we contacted Amazon, there is no proper response. So be careful while purchasing electronic gadgets. You may not get covered warranty issues.
In my experience it is one of best shopping site and is highly trusted. Because one of my friend bought shoes from Amazon. But it has a small damage. When he asked them to return. When at evening his money refunded but they didn't took back their product. Thus my friend got his money back without any risk
I have had several experiences where I have prepaid for a product that was not delivered. It is very convenient when things do arrive although iti is still a gamble as to whether they will arrive or not! In addition none of the delivery based reviews were published. Any reviews of amazon, on amazon are jabbed.
Returns are apparently not made unless you report the lack of deliver y within 10 days of the lack of delivery. Crude.
You would be sued fo rthis in the US! Time to shed some of those stocks.

This is regarding Order Id**************164. I have ordered a Saregama Caravan for my parents last month. It turned out to be defective and returned the product immediately. I am following up with them since last month, every time, they ask for more time and it is one month now not received any refund. Shocked to experience such pathetic service from them. It has become a big fraud. Please be careful before placing any order on Amazon!
I ordered a product on Amazon recently and opted COD... without any call they have cancelled my order sending across a message saying customer has refused the order. When I call the customer service they say it is a general error that occurs when a customer has opted for COD and he requests me to place a new order with prepaid payment. If they have given an option COD how can they negate it... what's the fun in having that option at all...
Answer: Not easy and disappointing. Dishonest liars. Try other sources to do purchases
