Since Nikon provided a Z7 firmware upgrade to allow CFexpress memory cards, I ordered a 256GB card from Adorama. However, the 256GB card remained on backorder for an extended time. So I canceled that order and replaced it with an order for the 512GB card which was listed as in stock. The card arrived on time and works perfectly in my Nikon Z7 camera.
Adorama participates in ShopRunner and runs promotions through popular Apple-oriented websites. This let me get the new 2020 MacBook Pro at a good price with free 2-day shipping.
HORRIBLE. I placed my order on Thursday 10/9 and chose $23 2 day shipping so that I could receive it by 10/15.
I received an order confirmation email right after. It says your card will not be charged until the order is shipped. My card was charged on 10/10 (it wasn't shipped).
I thought that there may have been a delay from Columbus Day so I waited until today 10/15 to check my order again. It still hadn't shipped.
I wouldn't have chosen the 2 day shipping if I thought it would take more than 3 business days to ship.
I called and explained my situation. The man I spoke with told me my package was packed and in the warehouse ready to be shipped. So I asked to have it canceled, since the website states you can cancel an order if it has not been shipped. He sounded worried and unsure and told me he could not do that since it was already packed and invoiced. I asked to speak to someone else.
They told me that their shipping department is closed until Monday 10/20. When ordering I saw there was a banner at the top of the website stating their NY store was closed until 10/18 for holiday. But when I ordered there was NOTHING saying that online orders would be delayed.
They claim that they will cancel my order when all departments open on Monday and that I will have a refund a few days after. I have a feeling this isn't going to happen.
I'm glad I looked up the reviews before I called so that I knew to record the conversations. I hope I will be fully refunded. If not this will get VERY messy.

I received The Jamo S 807's and set them up as rear channels for my near field HTPC. Perfect match! These replaced two Micca MB42-c's. The bass now extends further around the soundstage.
My order was processed and delivered promptly. The items were well packaged, great buy and customer service.
Stay away from Adorama if you would like to purchase an item and have them send it to the address you need to ship it to as a birthday present! I ordered a stereo system to be shipped to a relative for a birthday present early on Friday 1/15/2021 to be delivered to the relative's house.
I get an email late the next day that stated they were putting the sale on hold to shortly cancel it because of some verification issue. I wrote back an email to let me know ASAP how to clear up the verification so this item could be shipped ASAP and arrive before the birthdate.
I got a follow-up email that stated they could only ship it personally. I just a knee replaced am not able to walk yet, let alone carry the box with home electronics to a UPS Store. So if you buy at Adorama, they will not ship where you need it delivered, but expect you to incur the charge personally to ship it to where you need it delivered.
NOWHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE IN THE SHIPPING SESSION DOES IT MENTION THEY REFUSE TO SHIP IT OTHER THAN TO YOUR BILLING ADDRESS. I GUESS THAT ALSO COVERS IF YOU ARE ON A BUSINESS TRIP, YOU CAN'T ORDER SOMETHING AND HAVE IT DELIVERED TO YOU.
My first used lens purchase ever and I couldn't be more satisfied. Lens is in great condition and works perfectly, at a third of the original price.

Adorama is great. Fair prices, easy step by step checkout, great selection of items. Will definitely be hitting them up in the future.
So I buy a Dell monitor with a $50 rebate, great I've done lots of rebates before. Follow all the instructions, send in all the paperwork. I get a notice that they have received the paperwork, great! I go check the status, CLAIM DENIED for mismatched address between the rebate form, and the invoice. I don't have any different addresses, luckily they scanned the forms, so I can see what happened. The addresses ARE THE EXACT SAME, but the formatting is different on the invoice, the FORMATTING. Nope no $50 rebate for you (Rebate NAZIS!), try to get in touch using the e-mail addresses given and on the website, haven't heard a peep, no explanation, no reply, no "we made a mistake". So definitely will not buy anything from here again, ESPECIALLY if it has a rebate. You can be sure all my friends will know about this as well. I hope that $50 bucks you saved on not honoring my rebate will be worth the thousands you will miss in possible business in the future.
UPDATE: I contacted Helen from Adorama, after she looked at my information, she forwarded that to the head of the rebates section. It has now been handled, and I'm getting my rebate. I appreciate the fast work of Helen, I have upgraded the score, but I still think they need to do some hard looks at their customer service dept.
I bought a ballhead and after about a month it stopped working. Because I lost the original box they refused to return their useless $80 product.
