Just place an order where they screw it up, and you'll find out what 'wonderful' people they are.
My order never arrived, and they say check the address (which was correct), and then 'hug your furry friends'.
They don't care at all about you or your dogs.
3/7: The order was placed Feb. 23. When I didn't receive the order, all I got was suggestions to 'call the post office' and 'are you sure the address is correct'. This is three more days arguing with them. Only when I got angry did they offer to reship it, which I did not want.
My dog needs this medicine for her syringomylia, which could kill her without proper maintenance.
Do you think I would trust them to re-ship the order, when I need it NOW?
These people are a marketing scam with terrible, terrible customer service.
I get e-mails from them constantly.
When I have a problem, they deflect and blame someone else.

They send me an email for reordering 2 prescriptions. I get a call a week after confirming the order and the pharmacist tells me that I am ordering 1 if them too early! How am I doing it too early when they are the ones sending me the reminder to order again? Then the pharmacist had me count the remaining pills I have. When he finds out I will need more in a week, he questions me about it like I am misusing my 18 year old dogs meds. My dog takes 1 peice of a pill every 8-12 hours (or as needed for pain). I have never been treated this way when ordering his medications elsewhere. The man or woman on phone was rude and unhelpful! I have cancelled the order with 1800petmeds and will happily get them filled through my vet again. They did not care one bit about losing a customer, nor did they try anything to correct the issue. I DO NOT recommend 1800petmeds for elderly animals that require medication to function! I will never order with them again for any animal I have due to the way they handled this refill (that they sent me an email saying it was time to order again)! Terrible customer service!

I LOVE this site! I have never had any issues with what I have ordered. When I need to get medications they have it done with my vet office within a few hours and medication is shipped right out!

UPDATE: They ended up reaching out to me and trying to figure out what happened to my script, they never did find it? Not sure why? Or how? Anyways, they contacted my vet to get another script and shipped me the meds overnight at no cost. They made everything OK. The lady Delia I had spoke with sincerely cares about the company and the customers and did everything she could to make things right, which she had. However the other employees just don't seem to care about the company or the customers. I cannot say that about all the employees. But atleast about the 2 girls I had spoke with prior. Either way, they sent me my meds, my cat is happy now, so am I! The original review is below. I had this as a 1 star, I am changing to 4.

Paid to have my prescription sent priority and return receipt, I know they received my script. The day they received it, the order turned to processing. I called and spoke with pharmacist. They received it but told me they take 10 days to process. (Which is stated No where) After 15 days I got a letter stating they never got my script, I called again and they said ya we never got it. BS! You told me u had it before, my receipt and tracking said u did! Now u don't! Wtf! No apologies, no explanation. Waste of time and money, not only that my animals suffered waiting for flea meds that never came. Terrible, company!

What a rip-off! I have checked many websites to compair prices of flea control products and can only assume that this website is charging more because of all the money they spend on commericals.
Worst service ever, paid for expedited 2 day shipping on a prescdription I needed today, so that I would receive it TODAY, they haven't even bothered to get vet approval yet... had two scripts from two different vets, said NEITHER vet had okayed... RIGHT! Then asked me for the vet's email, I googled it like they could have, worst customer service EVER, do NOT order from them! There phone line is always busy, the chat shuts down on you and then you can't start a new chat because the old chat is "still running", but is nowhere to be found on my laptop, just great...
We have given multiple opportunities for this online company to get it right.
The past (2) years They cannot seem to get their act together.
Either they *Lost Our Order / *Never Received Order / Lost Our Ship Address / Forget to Ship Order, etc etc.

On 12/23 I placed an order for my dogs regular flea and tick. That order was neither shipped nor delivered in the promised time. Second order, did not get shipped nor delivered in the promised time. Had to literally call for two days in a row just to get them to approve my already approved order. So they offer credits on my account. Cool, I'll order some stuff for my dogs and then never call them again. So I ordered some treats, dog bed, etc. the dog bed was heated for the winter. Well, but shocker it came broken. I called in on the 5th to let them know the heating element was busted. They inform me they are sending out a replacement and just trash the one I have. Cool. So I wait, wait. Today January 12th I call in to get tracking for my order and speak with the lovely Jessica. It takes us about 15 minutes for her to even pull up the correct order. Once we find the order we find out a replacement was never sent. Shocker again from this company. I'm done, I don't want a replacement or anything else to do with this company. There are so many places to buy pet meds, I recommend finding them and staying far away from this company.
Although some of their prices could be a little cheaper, they do have good deals on some products and they are of great quality. I trust this company and they have excellent customer service.
Pet medication is always expensive at your local vet and it is worth checking out this place if you need expensive antibiotics for your pet. Their shipping is pretty fast and reliable too!
They are terrible. I spoke to two people telling me my heart meds for my dog wet out. They never sent and never called me to tell me they screwed up. Will never order from them again.
I ordered 2 presc medications for my dog on July 12,2022, which I received on July 18th. I had to put my dog down on July 22nd and hadn't started giving him the new medications yet. I called PetMeds on July 26th to ask if the medications could be returned for a refund and was told they would refund the entire amount of $84.19 and I didn't need to return the medications. The refund was credited to my credit card on August 2nd. Thank you so much! I had been buying these medications monthly since Nov 2021 and have nothing but good things to say about PetMeds. There was only 1 time when delivery was delayed and PetMeds paid for the 2 day shipping so I've receive the medications before leaving on a 2 week vacation.

I ordered dog treats about 4 months ago. They said they were backordered. Today they canceled my order without an explaination. It is odd that other places had them in stock.
I called for an RX for Simparica and later received an email indicating that I needed to physically obtain the perscription from my VET. I called back and was informed that I could not upload the RX via email and had to send it by snail mail. After approximately 3 weeks, the prescription did not arrive so I made my third call where I learned that PetMeds canceled my order! When I complained, the staff member hung up mid sentence and did not call back even though they had my phone number. I will never do business with Petmeds again.
This company cancelled my orders and accused my of having multiple accounts with them. I just recently got my first pet in my entire life (a dog for my daughter) and just signed up for a PetMeds account in the last week. I placed two orders over the first week and went to place a third order. I called in to inquire about the order shipment and was told my account was frozen. I was transferred over to a supervisor, who would only name himself as "Jack", and he told me that I could not do business with him anymore and that I had multiple accounts. I asked how I have multiple accounts and wondered if someone had stolen my identity or something like that. I asked for details, but Jack would not give any details about the accounts that he said were mine, but that are not mine. I'm not sure how he could attribute an account to mine when I had never used the 1800 pet meds website before in my life. He simply stated that I would have to file a subpeona to receive any information about my account.
I ordered Proin Tablets for my dog and was informed that I needed to send in an original prescription, I then went to my Vet and retrieved the Script since for some reason they couldn't fax it, then I waited a week and was told they still haven't received it. I emailed the following day and was told that they want me to give the mail 10 days, so I guess they are in a part of Florida that has very slow mail service, but even then they won't be able to fulfill my order since they "just ran out of Proin and won't be getting any in till March 20th" it is now Feb 23rd so now I have to go back to my Vet and purchase from them as I should have done to begin with. I'm not sure why it Would take a month for them to receive their supply ofa common supplement for dogs but I'm guessing it's got to do with where it's coming from (China maybe?)

Due to pharmacy regulations, from the consumer we must have the original prescription. Unfortunately, Proin is on backorder from the manufacturer. DO NOT BUY HERE, I repeat, DO NOT BUY HERE, be prepared to wait for weeks for your stuff that is always "preparing for shipment" have the money withdrawn in a sec but will take forever to give it back when they don't give you the product. This business is a shtshow.
Proceed with caution! Ordered box-packaged bottle of Vetmedin 1.25 mg chewable pill, 50 count. Bottle was not in box as pictured, was rolling around in delivery box plus bottle was not sealed meaning it probably was hand-filled from a larger bottle or even a returned bottle so don't know what real expiration is or if indeed it's the right pill although it looks the same as prescription from vet. Needed quickly so paid extra $19.99 shipping on order placed early Friday for overnight delivery. Had to call with a question and when said had paid for next day delivery found out I missed that overnight was next business day so wouldn't receive order till Monday. But, she said she could change that for Saturday delivery and would resend it and to just write Return To Sender on package already sent out for Monday delivery. I really appreciated that but still didn't understand why it couldn't have been done to begin with. I did get package today (Saturday) but am now somewhat leery that it's the right med and how old it it. Tracking texts for delivery status was good. I'd think twice about ordering from this particular site just because product was not sealed or in correct packaging. I would also recommend reading reviews before ordering.
