I made many connections, but, I only chose to go out with one because of her profile, values, and honesty. You can get through the games or myriad of reasons, and take it slow by getting to know someone outside of Zoosk. I started with FB, then graduated to texting, then phone calls. I put off dating her because I was in rebuild mode and didn't feel I was truly able to reinvest in another relationship. I told her this and she said she would rebuild with me... I have never looked back since and we are a match made in heaven. I got lucky I think and for that I am blessed!

I met Secretly Smooth(Viki) and we were a hit. After several months of just PMing and then texting and calling every day 3-4 times a day we met. And it was exactly what we both wanted and anticipated the wait and the patience paid off. Viki and I plan on being married soon. And we are very much glad that we met. Being both Christian people and finding what we were really looking for in the other. Showed us that Sometimes you can find the right one just take your time be patient and be sure... we did and we love the other unconditionally... it is great...

I paid $19.95 for membership. In one month, I've had over 150 "views". Was getting my hopes up. Yet I NEVER could get anyone to chat with me online. That's ALL I wanted at first. So, I tried an experiment. Sent the following message to women who had viewed me who were supposedly online - "you're not online right now. This is a fake profile, right?" Got ONE response - "Fake profile? Or is a way that you can get me to respond?:-)"

I got the response I was looking for.

Until proven otherwise, I think this is a scam run by a handful of people getting rich taking advantage of people who legitimately want to meet other people via the internet.

UPDATE: There were actually some quite attractive women on zoosk. That's why I got my hopes up. There are, of course, the not-so-attractive. I guess most of the attractive ones are fake.

I am on Year 5 of a Personal Development Plan. I didn't want to add a relationship into the plans until Year 7 (at the earliest). Things have been going so well, I just wanted to see who was out there. One week into my subscription and I met Melissa. I kept my profile open the last 3 weeks because I didn't want to "jinx" things.

She came to town this weekend and - to get to the point - I am no longer looking to meet someone!

Been on zoosk for a while now and I'm convinced most of the girls on it are not real. A lot of accounts have no details or only one photo this doesn't make sense if your looking for some one. I've email about 200 females (attracted to them or not) and only one replied. I'm 25, 5, 9 and gym a lot most females I know have told me I'm attractive so this doesn't make sense. Plus the whole coin thing? I've already paid for a month stop asking for more money

Zoosk is a dating site, this much is obvious. My experience has been that they put all the short guys on the carousel. Now, I am attracted to tall guys and that is made clear on my profile. Men assume that because I am 5'3, that I will be fine with a guy the same size as me. Not so... I realize this causes hard feelings to the shorter guys when women seem to overlook them for taller men. The thing that is unfortunate until you realize that Zoosk is pushing the shorter guys on the carousel, you may indicate you want to meet an individual based on a face photo. There is no way that I know of to look at a profile prior to deciding whether to like someone or not from the carousel. Once these guys see they have someone interested, they jump right on it expecting to get a warm reception. Once their profile is visible and it's obvious the guy is 5'3, or 5'6... the deal is off. They wonder why we act interested, then go silent, this is why, a lot of women aren't interested in short men. Zoosk is setting up these guys for disappointment by not allowing at least their height to be shown. Men say it's shallow or mean for a woman not to give short guys a chance. If I weighted 300 lbs or was butt ugly but had a way to keep it from being known prior to having the guy choose whether to like me... this would be an entirely different story after they could see the truth... I would get ignored or worse, called nasty names. I have never been rude to anyone because of their height of lack there of.

I was a skeptic right out of the gate. And each time met someone from an online dating site I was disappointed. But honestly, subscribing to Zoosk saved me countless hours of aimlessly wandering from "hotspot" to "hotspot" in the hopes of meeting someone. I have tried other sites and from my perspective their really isn't a whole of difference. You either have the patience and determination or you don't. Maybe it changes over time. Either way, find something you are comfortable with and stay at it. As for Zoosk, it was fine as online dating scenes go. I don't really care for the automatic payment for Zoosk coins but that is just a preference. Best of luck to you!

Read this before you join Zoosk is the worst biggest rip off site of them all they charge you for everything. After you sign up they Dell you coins that you need to exist on the site you pay to view members then you pay to contact them you pay just to find out about your matches even you pay again to unlock thierprofiles again you pay to get information on members that say they want to meet them and on and on all this really adds up I am on a couple of other dating sites that are ligit but once again this site should be outlawed. It is the biggest rip off dating sight you could imagine
