My glasses were lost in the mail, hadn't been scanned for over ten days, but customer service kept putting me off, not doing anything. Then I got a canned email asking me to taste my shopping experience, so here I am. Still no glasses.
Received distance glasses instead of reading glasses. Optometrist suggested ok to keep them for future use but I really needed readers - recommend others triple check their Rx data input prior to ordering. Must have been my oversight. I couldn't figure out how to return. Glasses are sturdy and nice.
Ordered my first pair of glasses Feb 1. Received glasses 3 weeks later. Correct frames, wrong prescription, could see nothing. Returned immediately, re-ordered, today is 3. 10. 22. Called Zenni- on hold for several minutes, they have no record of my order #ORDER NUMBER: #o*******356. Customer service tells me that they have no record of order. What a POS company. I could go to eyeglass making school and make them quicker than Zenni. Terribly disappointed.

I ordered a pair of prescription progressive lenses with a really great frame from Zenni. The lenses are a disaster - to look thru the far vision portion I have to tuck my chin into my chest, the closer vision portion provides a very narrow portion of the lens with zero prescription on either side, the reading portion I have to tilt my head backwards. I used the customer service chat feature and it was heavily implied I don't understand how progressive lenses work. I have been wearing them for over 20 years, so actually I do have a pretty good idea of how they work. I have even had progressives from Zenni with no issues. The best they can offer is a store credit, which does me no good if they can't get the lenses correct. Zenni's position is that this is the way they have always done progressives so the problem just simply can't be theirs. I will never order from Zenni again and I'm out $150.
Beautiful frames, script according to follow up visit with our daughters is great! She's seeing 20/20 again! We received her glasses very quickly! Highly recommend Transition lenses! Daughter had perfect vision until she got COVID19 in June... Her distance vision had become very blurry... Her Eagle eye vision has never returned... Thank you Zenni for affordable glasses... Would have cost a fortune to get glasses locally... If my new prescription works for me I will definitely be ordering my second pair from you with Transition lenses as well! Thank you so much Zenni!
Service is always so fast, when I order my glasses from Zenni! Their selection is amazing, and prices are even better! I used to pay 3x as much for a complete pair from another company, but now I can enjoy seeing clearly with a larger personal collection of eyeglasses!

This is our third time ordering glasses from Zenni Optical. I love the ease of the experience! This time, we got engraving on the arms of the glasses and my 16 year old daughter loves it! We also got clip on sunglasses for her bifocals. She has never had that before. Thank you for having great frames and styles for such great prices!
My Zenni sunglasses work great. The local opticians only offered prescription sunglasses with polarizing filters. That option does not work for me, because the polarized lenses do funny things with color when looking through a motorcycle helmet visor, and completely black out the displays of a couple radios in the airplane I fly. Zennis are perfect for both those applications.
Just the worst! Glasses were all wrong. Company offered to make me another pair but I cannot return them if not happy. They said the first ones were perfect. I can't see out of them! Why would I want another. I had to settle for a 50% refund. Waste of money. Customer service in Phillipines and there is no supervisor ar anyone reasonable to work something out with. Don't be a dummy like me. Go elsewhere!

We always went w our eye dr when we had insurance now that we don't zenni is so much more affordable. Her glasses tint in the sun and have blue light filter. We saved so much money$ eye dr is 79 for eaCh lense with no tinting not including frames. Got from zenni around 80. Came sooner than planning. Fit great. Had a small adjustment around my daughter's ears at eye dr but it was free.
I really thought my eyesight was getting worse when in reality I had put my previous pair of glasses thru complete and utter hell! My vision problems were caused by my lenses being so scratched up from 2.5yrs of less than stellar care that other people could see the mass of scratches from a conversational distance. But at least that tells me the frames and lenses are made to last!
I have purchased two pairs of glasses from
Zennioptical.com and I have been super happy with the results. The virtual try-on feature is helpful to gage the look of each frame on me AND they can even make lenses in my extra strength prescription. Even with insurance, frames and lenses from the doctor's office or one of the chain eyeglass centers is over $400. Since I discovered Zenni I haven't paid over $100 for either pair included upgrades like fingerprint resistant, blue light features and others. I'm so grateful you guys exist!
I ordered premium prescription sunglasses from Zenni. Look at the pic. The frames I ordered were supposed to be gold. But they came in a chrome color. I called customer service and they said to send them a pic, which I did. And I put the glasses next to an actual gold object so they can see the difference. They still insist that these are gold frames. They did give me the option to return them for an exchange, but I have to pay for the shipping back and the shipping for the new item, which is totally unfair considering the color on these was completely misrepresented.

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses and received notification that they were delivered by the post office. It was earlier than I was supposed to receive them so I was happy, but they were not in my mailbox. Turns out they were lost or delivered to the wrong person. When I told Zenni they reprocessed my order and had it delivered Priority mail. I am extremely happy with their service and will probably be ordering glasses in the future.
Took a month to get back with me about my order status. No updates or communication in between. When a response finally did come it wasn't very helpful. I just lost my money and didn't want to go through the hassle of getting a new pair I can actually see through.

If you need progressive lenses this is definitely not the place to go. They use a generalized segment height based on averages which means your progressive segments may not be lined up proper for your vision at all. I had this happen and it isn't fun for headaches or any type of activity as your vision will be crazy off in every segment. This should only be done in person with the tech looking you eye to eye same height etc. In person only! They told me "while our tech may not work for everyone we find that MOST customers are satisfied" which to me just means those satisfied customers just don't know any better. What a ripoff!
Good price, fast ship. The frames are a little light/flimsy. I have to be careful when pulling off from one side; managed to get them bent a few times already.
Got a kinda terse response from zenni when i asked, prior to the order, if i could move the dividing line up 3 mm on my progressives (as costco does for me). Was a little surprised and the second response to that topic included what seemed to be a warning about the return policy. So... i'll buy again but some definite detractions from the joyous experience i was expecting.
I heard of this website 5 years ago and now it is my go to place for my glasses. The site is easy to navigate, customize your lenses and even try them on virtually. The most recent order I placed I decided to try a new style out of my norm and I love the new style choice. Highly recommend

I contacted customer service via online chat and explained my reason for return and I was told I would receive 100% credit that could be applied to my reorder. Progressive lenses contain three viewing areas: distance-, intermediate-, and near-vision - the distance vision area is near the top of the lens, the near vision area is at the bottom, and the intermediate vision area is in the middle. The clear viewing area is located in the central "corridor" of the lenses, so there can be a noticeable but expected blur when looking toward the edges of the lenses. Due to this design, and because there are slight differences between progressive lenses across brands, someone new to wearing progressive lenses may initially experience some difficulty adjusting to them; likewise, someone who is already accustomed to wearing one brand of progressive lenses may have some difficulty adjusting if they switch to a different brand, and they will find that it it will take some time to become accustomed to the new lenses. Answer: I had the same experience. Very disappointing. When I called about the problem they questioned the accuracy of my prescription. I was able to return them for a Zenni credit, less shipping costs. Waiting to see if the second pair is better...
