We have a small plumbing business and don't need a lot off advertising. But we need to be seen in the main stream. Yodle helps us get there. With the way people search for business in their area, you have to have a currant web page. Also have it there so it pops up on your page when they are searching. There are different price range for the amount of advertising you might need. When I'm contacted from Yodle with a up sale and they are good(BUT I WOULDNT WANT THEM ANY OTHER WAY)they are also r on my team. They understand when I say I'm happy with what I got.
My results with Yodle have been overwhelming. It took a little bit to get started but it’s been amazing since and overall it’s more than what I hoped for. The first time I spoke with someone at Yodle I was skeptical and passed but I’ve regretted that decision ever since. The customer service has been fantastic and the mobile app they provide is the best. With a quick click, you can see what’s going on and where you’re at. Yodle streamlines everything and makes everything so much easier. I’ll be adding a second account in a different market soon.
So far our results have been very good with Yodle. We’ve gotten at least 3 times what we’ve put out over the past 6 months and we’ve been so impressed with the results overall that we’ve decided to continue on with them in the future. Initially we felt that our area might be a little too rural for internet marketing but Yodle helped us see that it could work. Their customer service has been very good too. Response time is great and they address every question that we have. It’s great to have an expert in their field handling our accounts. Yodle’s dashboard feature is my favorite part. We can go in and find out what got the customer to call and actively improve any areas that might need help. It takes all the guesswork out!
I've definitely seen an increase in new leads since starting with Yodle. We had previously done radio advertising and were skeptical about what the yield would be from search optimization but Yodle made it pretty easy to understand that they had the best skillset amongst the competition. Yodle's customer service is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I'm very hands-on with my campaigns and they can get technical when they have to and explain the process to me so I can maximize results with my feedback. Samantha Starett was especially good at multi-tasking my needs while still maintaining a great business conversation. She was a superstar of the highest caliber. Couldn't possibly sat enough good things about her. Overall, the most exciting thing is that the forward momentum is very measurable, visible and tangible. Success is the only way to go over here and all along the way that's what each person at Yodle has helped us to accomplish.
The response from Yodle has been more than what I expected. We're getting great calls and we're having an overall great response since being with the program. Though we were skeptical at first, the sales person that contacted us was very good at explaining the services and it was nice that we weren't stuck in a year contract. We were offered a month-to-month package that suited our needs. The customer service has also been perfect for us.
Our business offers tutoring and test prep services, which are very seasonal. After having an account with Yodle for about 5 months, we were not seeing quite the return in leads relative to the cost of our account. I spoke with Ashley, our account rep, who worked with us to significantly reduce our monthly cost while leaving us room to increase our budget later if the need arises. I have been very pleased with Yodle. In my experience, they were up-front with expectations and very accomodating to my businesses needs. We are in a relatively low population area, so word of mouth still reigns over internet search in many ways. Yodle understood this and is working with us to maintain our web presence at a reasonable cost.
I am a chiropractor who was cold called by some savy people at Yodle. I agreed to pay them $1500 for a 3 month trial. They said I would be getting at least 10 new Patients per month. If this occurred I would have been very happy. It did not. After 3 months I received Zero prospective calls and obviously no new patients. I feel a bit foolish for having been sold this program but I write this in the hopes that someone will learn from my mistakes. This is the first review I have ever written so whoever is reading this please take my advise and do not use Yodle.
My rep Josh Robinson has been very helpful so far. The results of the marketing investment are yet to be seen however. To be fair, we are less than 2 months into the campaign, so we are hoping to see the results improve to produce an effective ROI to justify continued advertising.
I have been in the mortgage industry for a little over 14 years, and typically get a steady stream of solicitations from ad and lead companies. After trying several different programs over the years, I had pretty much chocked it up to the fact that ad and lead companies make their money whether I do or not, and I every time I would try one, I always felt like I got burned.
So when Scott from Yodle started calling me…. And kept calling me, I blew him off as just another ad company. Scott had said time and again: "You won't be disappointed. Try it for three months, if you don't like it or it's not working, you can cancel. There is no long term contract. You can measure the results and see how it is working for you."
I finally decided to take a three month run, expecting to see little to no impact. After dropping about $1,200 bucks in about 60 days, I have three deals. Two have closed with a total commission of $15,332, and one is pending for another $3,000. THAT'S what I call a great return! Seriously…these guys know what they are doing. The ocean is big, and there is plenty of business to be had…but only if people can find you! Make sure you have them work both the paid ads and the organic. I think you need both in order to achieve favorable short term and long term results. When you start getting new incoming calls, I guaranty you will begin to sit up in your chair and take note. You need to posture yourself for conversations to convert new incoming calls by establishing report and trust so you can increase your conversion rate.
Here's the key: If you do decide to try this, you better try to answer every call that comes in. Once I got a legit call, I began to pay close attention to incoming calls, whether it was a local or long distance number, because I soon realized the area codes that I did not recognize were often prospects that had recently moved into the area. If I do miss a call, I always call that number back as soon as I can. WARNING: If you are diligent and attentive, the name "Yodle" will make you some serious bucks…and may even make you want to stay in the business!

I signed up about a month ago with the expectation that if they could provide two additional "real" leads per month it would be worth it. In the 3 weeks the site has been live I've had 4 calls and 2 converted to customers, so the service has met my expectations. My customer rep is very helpful and seems genuinely interested in my success. The only reason I won't give it 5 stars is that it has only been 3 weeks. So far so good.
Josh Robinson is my rep at Yodle and has by far exceeded my expectations. I have been ripped off by Yelp, Reach Local delivered less than 10% of what they said they would and I could go on and on. Even though we have just recently launched our Yodle campaign, the leads are starting to come in and this campaign is beginning to show great promise. Yodle is doing exactly, what they say they will can do, what a concept. I would highly recommend Josh/Yodle to anyone in the Home Services business as long as they are not my competitors...

I am thrilled with the Internet advertising that Yodle has done for my business. I know exactly how many new clients I've gotten and the amount of revenue that has been generated through their advertising campaign. They have done a great job for me and I highly recommend them.
STAY AWAY!
Paul was good at selling this product and service, but when it came to performing, nothing was done. We spent thousands of dollars for not even one converted client. Their product is garbage and your money is better spent with a company that deals with SEO the right way.
Paul – my name is Radley Moss, Director of Corporate Communications at Yodle. I’m sorry that you had such a disappointing experience during your time as a Yodle client. Do you mind reaching out to me so that I can get a better understanding of what happened? You can contact me at either rmoss@yodle.com or 212-542-5449.
Yodle is a great marketing resource for us. Since the day we started with Yodle, our phones started ringing with great leads. The service Yodle provides is excellent. We have a dedicated manager, Meredith, who keeps our site current, relevant, and constantly generating leads. Yodle has been an excellent investment for our business.
I’ve been getting more and more customers with Yodle over time. The longer it’s been, the better it gets. They have great customer service and I like their transparency. I can see all of the leads I’m getting on the dashboard and I enjoy being able to track that.
Brandon and everyone at Yodle were great. If I had a concern, no matter how trivial, they took it seriously and were immediately responsive. I would recommend Yodle for professionalism and integrity.
I was a bit skeptical in the beginning, and slow to sign up and take the plunge. I am glad I did. The first week I started getting calls for repairs. One of the awesome things that I loved is when a customer writes a review for your business, it can go straight to your Facebook page. That is even more exposure. In reality your investment doubles up on the people who see it. I am a believer. Yodle works!
LOVE IT! I was skeptical but quickly set straight (thank you YODLE) when I immediately started receiving phone call and email leads as soon as I went live. Working with Meredith Jones has been an absolute pleasure and she has made the process painless to someone that has does numbers - not websites!
My business is doing in month ONE what I had anticipated it doing in month SIX. I AM VERY PLEASED!
I left Yodle for a local company, boy what a mistake it was. My budget is lower, and the results are great, happy customer here.
Excellent services, I have been doing business with Yodle for over two years and it certainly has been one of my the best decisions I have made in for my business. You owe to your self to find out what they offer and to give them a try. I wish I would have consulted with Yodle in the past with my other ventures that did not do as well as my current business is doing.
Answer: I received a few leads that actually worked out. However, it wasn't enough to justify using them in the first place. The leads seemed to come in when I had signed up for their "google ads marketing" addition. So basically, the google ads provided 80%-100% of the leads, not Yodle. I Would've been better off spending my money on Google Ads written myself.
Answer: Yodle only cost me money and quite a bit of frustration! Tony
Answer: I have a spare wet-vac if you have extra cash laying about. Give me a call. It would be a better application of energy use.
Answer: Run Forest Run. They make promises. They will put wrong info on the web. Who spends 600.00 Before a return if you gat that. Run Forest Run
Answer: Dont do it.
Answer: If you get a website made. The search engine go by the 2nd letter in order for your site to be pulled up quickly. You would be better off doing your own social media marketing, joining the BBB and Y and white pages of phone book. Magnetic vehicle signs, etc. Need more free tips email me at rstoutmire@yahoo.com subject line Javier S. Contractor. Hope this help you but don't pay any company any money for any work. Rhonda S.
Seth,
Thanks for sharing your feedback. It is our goal for every customer to have a positive, beneficial experience with Yodle, and I'm truly sorry to hear that didn't happen for you. If you have a few moments, would you mind contacting me at rmoss@yodle.com or 212-542-5449? I’d like to get some additional insight from you on what happened and to discuss this with the appropriate people at Yodle.
I'm particularly disappointed about your experience because we work with hundreds of chiropractors across the country many of whom are gaining significant benefits from partnering with Yodle (there are a couple of examples on our website: http://www.yodle.com/success-stories/health-medical). Again, I'm sorry that we weren't able to deliver these results to you.
Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.
Best,
Radley Moss
