Terrible
December 30, 2022

The double standard exhibited on this site is sickening. They will let all kinds of rasist articles get published as long as it is racist against white people, but when you call them out and show them the double standard as a comment, it gets rejected.

I use Yahoo as a backup email company, if you don't sign into the account in year, they will disable your account, the charge you to reactivate it because you have to be apart of their premium program. So they lock your account and make you pay to reacces your account. I don't know about you but that is a cheap and pathetic way to run a company. Yahoo, I hope you burn to the ground and google buys you out.

I was helping my girlfriend change her back up phone number on the yahoo website and it sent us in circles. It would have us log into the Yahoo log in page then in order to access the account security we would have to log in through the AT&T log in. Once we logged on to AT&T, it would just give us information as to how to change the yahoo recovery phone number. Which sent us right back to the yahoo log in. We followed the instructions and when we got to the account security page, all you can see is a change your password link. There is no link or information on changing or updating recovery phone/email address.

I am a registered democrat, didn't vote for Trump... This is the most left leaning, democratic propaganda machine out there... Lines right up with CNBC and CNN. This is most certainly NOT news. It is a machine to promote a one-sided OPINION... just awful

I ordered two dresses from Chaveo. One did not cone close to fitting. I asked for a return label and instructions. No answer. I emailed again. No answer. The third email I was offered $5 for the dress that cost $45 and I could keep the dress. I have no interest in keeping a dress that doesn't fit. Don't buy from this company. They lie about returns!

Paying for recovery?!
March 14, 2023

I just got off the phone with yahoo. In order to recover an old account they wanted me to subscribe to a paid subscription in order to recover my account. How ridiculous is this? For this reason alone I will never never use Yahoo again in my life.

Anyone home at Yahoo?
January 8, 2009

Anyone home at Yahoo? - Is it the policy for Yahoo to ignore someone who places a complain about a foreign scammer who uses a yahoo address to rip people off? Are you telling me that you simply cannot shut them off and/or warn others who this individual is contacting to be carefull? Or does anyone at the office care? Anyone with this problem?

So you can know your email and your own password to access your account and that is not good enough. I am ask to provide the 3rd and 4th last digit to an old phone number on file (which i am able to provide) but then they want to send a code to that phone number as if i still had a phone number from over 10 years ago. I click the link to sign in another way (which i think is stupid considering i know the correct password) and the only thing that pops up is there customer service line and this is how that conversation goes. "because you do not have access to that phone number, we are unable to verify its you" if i had the damn phone why would i even be calling in the first place? Some help. I guess ill go $#*! myself. This is why i switch to gmail years ago. Would never ever tell anyone i know, even isis. To make a $#*!ing account with these cum guzzelers.

I don't see why I would need a monthly subscription to recover my email when i myself can't recover my account. I've been locked out of my account and cannot access the account without assistance, but instead of helping recover for free. You need to pick a monthly subscription of your choice. When Gmail or Hotmail offer free recover. Not saying you need to sign up for a monthly subscription plan for recovering your account. After I heard you need to pick a subscription plan. I was shocked. I can't believe you expect people to sign up for a plan just to keep their accounts, accounted for. You should be ashamed

Yahoo has many scammers and allows aliases that are found on dating sites. I figured out this guy/girl is a scammer and there is nowhere to report it. It is common knowledge that Yahoo allows this to happen.

$#*!ing $#*!ed
August 18, 2023

I'm trying to sign in. Instead of letting me sign in with my email and pw, they wanna send me a code to the phone I don't have. Then I say I don't have access to my phone, they give me a number to talk to some $#*!ing Hindu person and give them all my info and my drivers license to prove that I'm the $#*!ing person that's been using the same $#*!ing email for over 10 years. So instead of letting me sign in using my password, they decide to go above and beyond to make my $#*!ing day harder.

Yahoo email has being my "email for years" but I don't know why I get so many spam, I don't even know why I find myself subscribe to those site that I don't even know. For a reason a spam folder was created. Now we need no spam at all. It will be awesome... Who mail's owner wants so many emails from people we don't know, and services we don't need, or people we don't want to meet. I don't know... it is frustrating sometimes.

Email is great once its set up, finance manager runs smoothly. Downside: ZERO customer service. You call, you can guarantee to be put on hold and then hung up on every time. Want to email them? No sorry, they don't have a easily found customer service email address to address your problems. You follow the on hold instructions from the automated phone service before they hung up on you? Oh sorry, there is no site for them to recieve a message from you help.yahoo.com/identity does not exist. Message them on facebook? Sorry they won't get back to you. Billion dollar industry with no customer service.

If you need a simple email service then Yahoo is great but if you ever run into a problem with their system then you are screwed. Call their helpline if you want verification on this. See how many times you get hung up on. :)

When i called to find out why i was told the ducts were not supported i asked to speak to a manager and was told i needed to file a appeal when i got to speak to a representative he told me the same thing i asked how he know they were not supported he said it was reported by the technician which was not true the people who went out only fill out a computer form. Upon my appeal the representative insisted that it was not supported as the reason for failure

Well, it's official
September 24, 2013

Well, it's official. Yahoo.com has officially become "Home Base" to every "SCAMMER, SPAMMER, LOW LIFE" on the planet! Personally I believe that they encourage deviant behavior, give out email addresses like candy and encourage the Spammer, Scammer mentality. Which by the way is a average IQ equal to a box of rocks. As a company, they share the same responsibility as the low life's they hand out email address's to.
My perfect day would be hearing that the entire company "burned in hell"...
Out of 200 or so junk emails I receive weekly, at least 88% are yahoo.com.
