For the second time as many days the service in ******* zip code is down. Wednesday it was 18 hours and now pushing 12 for today. How can a company so poorly manage their system. This happens almost monthly. But since no competition they get away with it.
Although some TV channels sometimes break up, that's not my problem. We began using Xfinity about 2 years ago. We were assigned a home phone number as part of the package. We soon learned that our caller ID was incorrect. After more than 4 attempts the company has still been unable to fix this issue. If a company cannot deal with simple issues how will it do with a real problem?
As a free address book 'in the cloud' Plaxo is brilliant. It needs a bit of work setting up, but once you've imported addresses from wherever, it works very well. At some point they started trying to become a social network site which doesn't seem to work so well - so I just ignore that side of the business. Turn off all the 'birthday information requests' and that cuts down the emails to occasional requests for you to upgrade to the paid version, which seems fair enough. If you move frequently or change phone numbers it is great for sending out your new details to your selected list of recipients.
Honestly, I cannot stand these monopolistic-type service industries.
Everyone wants television service, so these outfits have us all over a barrel.
I cannot begin to understand or decipher their levels of service or their billing rationales.
Furthermore my service constantly is out of order for one reason or another.
The alternatives are just as heinous. I probably should just watch TV online.
To add insult to injury, their business office employees are worse than the DMV or Washington DC bureaucratics.
2.5 stars.
Very honest and straightforward. I always only paid what I originally agreed to, no extra charges like sudden link always sticks in.
Bill came out of account same day every month just as it should.
I am very satisfied with the service they provided.
I only wish they covered the area I now live.
Thanks, Gary
US News and World Report gives Xfinity wonderful reviews. #1 on most things. Obviously they didn't read any of the reviews written by real customers. Can't speak to a rep or a tech in the U.S. Chat is a total joke. Says it will transfer you to an agent. Won't. Had to call back again. Programs end early so you don't know what happened! Hopefully the end of one will show up on the beginning of the next show so you can watch. If you recorded it. If you didn't, you're out of luck. When I called Xfinity about it, agent said she would report it. No way to just ask a question without jumping through a bunch of hoops. Next for me? Streaming. I look forward to life without Xfinity.
Tonight I received excellent/ Superior customer service from Raymond! I appreciate the fast response and solution to my problem. I have noticed a few more surrounding homes are currently with AT&T. It's been a thought, however Raymond has persuaded me to stay with Xfinity.
The internet service is generally pretty great, haven't had many issues with that, but the billing schedule needs to be fixed. I pay on time every month and this month I was given a late fee for the price of a whole month, and on top of that I still had to pay this months after that "late fee." I've talked to multiple agents and even their direct billing department, and the late fee was reversed, but my internet is still getting shut off daily and I still haven't gotten my return on the "late fee." I wouldn't recommend if you don't want issues with the money aspect and paying double for one month because they can't keep track of your payments.
Calling Xfinity can be an absolute nightmare! I have pressed a lot of different options trying my best to get a live person to help me. In frustration, I end up yelling into the phone. And last night, I was on hold for 47 minutes.:(
And on a more minor point, I should not have to press anything to get English!
The service sucks, it freezes all the time and you are never able to talk to an agent. If you sign onto your online account and your contract is coming to an end they will deactivate everything and you won't be able to send them an email message either. They want you to pay the regular price after the promotion. They are very sneaky. I think I am done with them. AT&T works better in my area anyway. Stay far away from Xfinity.
Have U tried the Xfinity NOW WiFi Pass?
$20 for 30 days...Unlimited Broadband with no fees & no Gateway modem/ router needed.
No power supply needed too.
Not super fast, maybe 60Mbs, look for "xfinitywifi" network (Millions of secure & separate Hotspots from their existing Gateway locations),... connect,... use your browser to buy Pass,...& No Worries.
I have spent a total of 2 hrs over 2days because my cable TV is not working. Basically had do thier job trouble shooting did not work yesterday. So not working today. I have an appointment for tomorrow but they keep calling tell me to do the same trouble shooting. Ridiculous. I pay 350 a month for cable goes out and tiles ot the time. I expect them just come to my house and figure it out. I pay for inside wiring so why do I have beg practically for them to come to my house.
Horrendous. I asked xfinity if they could wave my 2-month early termination fee since we have already xfinity at the residence I'm moving to (we had an apt and a house for a bit). Not only did they NOT wave the fee, they sent me to collections after 2 weeks of billing and texted me 2x to say they were working on the request. So then I had to get involved with talking to collections as well as getting xfinity customer service on the phone a couple of times, which deserves an entirely separate negative review. (Their phone tree is atrocious and sends you in a big circle.) I was planning to get xfinity wireless and move our cellular service over, but after this experience, forget it. If I could give xfinity negative million stars, I would. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Xfinity is the worst cable service we've ever had. They went up on the prices this year, but there are 0 improvements on services. Everyday the cable and internet is out. Like it is ridiculous. Customer support sucks. They expect you to go online and fix your own cable and internet issues. You are stuck doing the job of fixing your own issue when it is their job to ensure customer satisfaction. Makes no sense. At this point Xfinity should be paying me. I hate their service and I hope that more cable services become available soon in our area so we are not just stuck with one option.
Terrible mobile service. It was the worst transfer of my life that left me with no business phone for a week. Extreme slow shipping. If you need your phone you don't want Xfinity! Awful voice mail 20 years behind every other carrier. Don't do it!
They never show up for appointments to your home. Customer service has no idea what is going on. They don't even have correct information when they make mistakes which will make things harder for you. Get out if you can
I am extremely disappointed in Comcast's handling of my recent billing issue. During a humanitarian trip to Cuba, I was charged over $8500 (yes, eight thousand five hundred dollars) for supposed data usage on my phone. Despite acknowledging that this charge may have been due to some app updating and not actual usage, Comcast refused to work with me to rectify the situation. As a customer of Comcast for my home, business, and cell phone services, this experience has left me feeling frustrated and undervalued. I have decided to leave Comcast and seek services elsewhere. I would urge others to consider alternative providers in the industry. This has been a disappointing encounter. They showed themselves an incarnation of corporate greed.
Go with a different company. I have had them for 3 1/2 years they are constantly going down and at really weird times. They can be up and running during a hurricane and the following day they are totally not working. Weird. And this has been going on basically for 3 1/2 years. If I could switch to somebody else I would however nobody is in my area except for them. And we are in a booming big town. Don't take the bait
Comcast has increased my bill once again! Not to mention customer service, which they have Zero skills.
In addition I was waiting on hold 15 minutes only to speak with a rep that clearly could not assist me what so ever! As soon as Att lines are up I'm switching services, it doesn't matter about the cost it's the distrust I have with Comcast which is Zero trust! New comers think twice before signing on.
I`m sorry, but a one star rating is too high for these people! I have had several problems with my cable, internet bundle in the last few weeks, and the ladies solution to fix my problem, after trouble shooting my cable, which didn`t even work, was to try and get me to add a phone! Lol
Answer: U DONT THEY PLAY GAMES AND LET PEOPLE LAUGH AT U AND SCREW WITH UR MIND
