This was my second purchase from WoodlandDirect. I purchased a gas log fireplace both times. The products ship almost immediately after the order is placed. I was surprised how quickly the products are delivered - easily within a week.
Delivered as promised and works well. Assembled easily with iin no time the firewood was stack in the racks.

We are happy with our gas logs. Unfortunately we received a product from Golden Blount that was defective (leaking gas valve on log set) so a new valve had to be provided through Golden Blount warranty. It cost me an additional $200 to have a contractor come and remove/ replace the warranty defective valve. Although we're happy with the outcome, I'm not happy that it cost me an additional $200 to fix the problem.

We weren't able to locate a contractor to install it until the end of February but will keep you updated.
Tom at Woodland was fantastic. He's Old School. He looked into questions I had and got me answers. He always communicated with me. He followed up on everything, including delivery.

It's extremely well constructed. Less than 30 min. To assemble. Very strong. I got two 1/2 cord racks & keep them both on my back deck. The covers are tough and very durable. Very good purchase! Great Christmas presents for my sons...And they even came with beer couzees!

Great experience! Ordered our fireplace online over the weekend and it was shipped almost the next day! We also received a call from WoodLand direct about purchasing the vent piping needed for our unit as we hadn't purchased any when making our order. Turns out they had what we needed, it just wasn't on the site. They went above and beyond to help me make sure I had all that I needed. I highly recommend you give WoodlandDirect a look!

Well made and a very clean, solid looking piece. The black finish looks great.
It was expensive though and not sure if it was truly worth the cost vs buying something off the rack at Home Depot. I had to assemble the legs with an Allen wrench. That's fine, but for the price paid and the time it took to custom make it, I had assumed it would be one solid, welded piece. Felt like I paid a premium for something but in the end was kind of like getting it from a big box store. And speaking of big boxes...it came in the most elaborate shipping box I've ever recevied! It was impressive and testament to the care the company puts into its orders. But there was certainly room for the legs to be attached (if not welded or part of the mold) it didn't have to come unassebmled.

1st use and would not ignite. Had to get technician to troubleshoot. Then had to wait for parts. Manufacturer had to authorize parts and whole process just seemed to take extremely long.
