Bad start. I chose the coffee store and some licenses for the products did not get approved for my name because of some past relationship I had with some supplier (that I did not have and know nothing about). They made me switch to the personal care store, which I did not want. Luckily, it seems like it is off to a really good start and it is making good progress with orders coming in. I appreciate how quick they were to handle this matter and that they credited me for lost time. After all, time is most important in this type of business.
WhyUnified was an interesting experience for me. I went with the personal care store with amazon and walmart.
The good: Their automation works. Once my store was set up (which took about 8 days), orders were processed without me having to do anything manually. I didn't have to chase suppliers or handle shipping, which was a big relief. I liked how I did not have to pay up front of products and only as they sold. When I shopped around, every other place wanted a $50K up front investment for products which I thought was crazy.
The bad: If you're expecting to just sign up and immediately make thousands, it's not that simple. Sales ramp up over time, and you need to keep an eye on how products are performing. I had a week where orders slowed down, and I reached out to support. Mike explained how marketplace algorithms fluctuate, and within a few weeks, things picked back up. It's not a magic bullet, but it does work if you understand how it all works.
I made my money back in two months. Originally, they said it would be a month. Not complaining because there is no other investment that will make your money back that fast anyhow.
If things keep up at this pace, it will be a worthwhile investment for sure.
I've had my own store for 3 years when I joined whyunified.
Certainly I had experience running my store and had different suppliers but the issue with these other suppliers was that they could not provide any invoices for the products that they were providing so I had some issues with my seller account and got suspended for FBM. Started looking for other alternatives when I found whyunified on my facebook feed.
I booked a call because I saw they offered access to brand-named products and include the licensing, invoices, etc. They also said they offered a guarantee so that's what made me sign up.
First 3 months I only made $1,300 in sales but I have to admit I didn't follow their plan, I chose my own products, set up the pricing too low, I had years of experience so I just followed my "instinct". Spoiler alert: It DID NOT work my way. I contacted them asking for help and I was upset to be honest, at the moment I was blaming them for the lack of sales.
I appreciate that they were nice enough to create a strategy to improve performance but I had to agree to follow their guidance. Just after a few tweaks and small changes in terms of pricing, advertising, buy box my store completely took off and my sales increased slowly but I could notice the difference.
My advice for anyone that's interested is, make sure you let them help you even if you have experience, otherwise you will not get a good outcome. Buy Box and Amazon Ads are great to vamp-up the sales too. Without it, the process is slow.
My first experience with Why Unified was a mix of excitement and stress. Excited because I finally had a store running without me doing much, stressed because I didn't fully understand how long it would take to scale. My first few months my sales were up and down, not really stable at all. I felt like I was being strung along but six months in, I'm making about $9,000 a month and it works really damn well. I went with Walmart and added the "Plus" version of Walmart later on. I used my last money that I saved over the last year on this, and honestly, it was a gamble for me but here I am writing a positive comment. Glad I am not one of the negative ones. I don't know what they did, but it sounds like it went very wrong for them. Not for me!
I had zero experience with selling online, other than starting my Etsy store last year which really did not do anything for me other than give me hope and my dropshipping store that I paid someone $500 to build for me (went no where).
At first, it was overwhelming with Why Unified. I kept logging into my account thinking I needed to do something, but the reality is, they were doing everything behind the scenes. I select the brands I prefer to sell, set promotions, pricing and things like that. It took about a month before I saw my first big jump in sales.I had no idea what I was doing at first, but they walked me through what to expect and how to track my performance. I am looking forward to adding Walmart next month. I am waiting for Amazon to pay for itself first which should be around that time. Very excited, but also nervous.
I kept seeing Why Unified pop up and wasn't sure if it was legit or just another thing that promises the world. I had already tried starting a TikTok shop—thought it would be easy money, just post some videos and watch the sales roll in. Yeah… that didn't happen. People watched, liked, and commented, but barely anyone bought. Then I tried setting up a store with Shopify, spent money on ads, and actually got some sales, but dealing with long shipping times, refunds, and customer complaints made it a mess.
So when I found Why Unified, I was skeptical but also kind of desperate to find something that actually worked. Signed up, set everything up, and the first month was slow. I was getting impatient, thinking maybe I got scammed or it was just another overhyped service. But then sales started coming in, and the best part? I wasn't dealing with all the usual headaches. No chasing suppliers, no stressing over inventory—everything was handled.
The best part was being able to grow without making things harder for myself. I started with one sales channel, then added Amazon and Walmart, and things just kept getting better. Unlike before, where I was constantly fixing problems, this actually felt like a real business that ran smoothly.
That said, it's not perfect. Sometimes things move slower than I'd like, and customer support isn't always super fast. But compared to everything else I've tried, this is the first thing that actually worked without me having to micromanage everything.
If you're tired of trying to start a store and running into problem after problem, Why Unified is worth checking out. It's not an overnight success kind of thing, but if you stick with it, it actually works.
No complaints about my contract with Why Unified. They have been very helpful in setting up my store, getting it live on Amazon and maintain it.
6.5 months with no ROI on a quoted revenue of $378K, then in 3 months quoted $7-10k per month with only $224 total dollars in 6.5 months. Deplorable results and failed customer service resolution.
They are holding my monies hostage placing me in a deficit
I signed up with this company in December 2023. I am a seasoned Amazon seller with over $5 million in annual sales. I was looking for a company like this that dropshipped name-brand products to enhance my existing business. All through 2024, I got promises of more product once certain "rating" scores were met. For my $15k investment, I got $3k of sales. Their guarantee "We make a simple promise: If we don't meet our projected sales by the end of your term, we'll give you a full refund for the applicable channels that did not meet the goal. It's as easy as that—no complicated terms or hidden clauses, as long as you're letting the platform function as designed." I have yet to receive my refund after I filled out the appropriate form. Kevin O'Leary should be ashamed to lend his name to this scam outfit.
Decided to go all in on Amazon last year and, man, it was rough. My store was up for five months, barely making any sales. It was frustrating as hell because I kept hearing about people making crazy money with FBA, but for me, it just wasn't working.
I was already using Why Unified at this point, and to be honest, I was pretty skeptical. They made it sound like you'd be rolling in cash fast, but after a few months, I wasn't seeing much. Complained a bunch, sent emails, even left some bad reviews online (lol). Eventually, someone from management reached out and said they'd help me out. They gave me the Buy Box for free and threw in Amazon Ads at no cost. I had no idea what the Buy Box really was at the time, but once I got it, sales finally started happening. I wasn't making thousands overnight, but it was the first time I saw real, steady movement.
Things kept improving, and they even extended my subscription for free, which honestly made me feel better about sticking with them. Over time, I learned that this stuff takes longer than they say. The whole "profitable in X months" thing is kinda misleading because Amazon doesn't just throw you on the front page. It's more like a slow build-up, and I wish they were clearer about that. But once I got past that mindset and just let it run, it actually started working.
After Amazon got stable, I added Walmart as another channel. Took another minute to see traction, but eventually, it helped balance things out. I'm not quitting my job anytime soon, but for once, I actually have an eCommerce business that isn't just a money pit. There's still some stuff I don't love—support is slow at times, and I hate how they auto-renew without much warning. But overall, it worked for me. Just don't expect overnight success, and you'll probably be alright.
I'll be honest, I didn't even know what eCommerce really meant before I started with Why Unified. I've never sold anything online, never built a website, and never even considered running a business. But I kept seeing people talking about online stores, and I figured, why not give it a shot?
I started with Amazon, and for the first few weeks, I was convinced I had made a mistake. I checked my dashboard, saw nothing, and thought, this is too complicated for me. But then the sales started rolling in after a few months, and I didn't even have to do anything! Why Unified handled it all. Now, I own a real business, and I still don't fully understand how eCommerce works but apparently, I don't need to.
Can recommend why unified I am happy with how things have been going
I have some other businesses but i'm new to this franchise store thing. I'm just getting started, but the process has been smooth so far.
The first webinar i had with them was pretty informative but i was a little skeptical with all of the scammers out there and this sounds too good to be true. I sent hundreds of questions back and forth to the sales rep and he answered them all nicely, and sent all of the documentation i asked for. My attorney reviewed everything and gave me a greenlight. I finally signed up and the onboarding process and setting up the store took around 3 weeks.
My store has been up and running for 2 weeks now and i had a few sales but is looking good. I will probably update my review in a few months.
I would recommend Why Unified. The store they assigned to me is growing. No complaints.
I already knew my way around Amazon. I've been selling for a while, but my old supplier dried up, and I needed a way to access brand name products. That's how I found Why Unified.
What I didn't expect was how much easier their system made everything. Instead of constantly searching for reliable suppliers and dealing with the nightmare of inventory issues, I now have a store that's stocked with top-selling items that actually get prioritized by Amazon's algorithm. It's like flipping a switch. My sales went from unpredictable to consistent and scalable.
If you already sell on Amazon but are tired of fighting with suppliers, this is the solution you've been looking for.
I was excited to get my Amazon store running, but when I found out I had to share a product listing with other sellers, I was pretty annoyed. No one mentioned that upfront, and it felt like I was just competing for scraps. I reached out to support, ready to walk away, but they explained that I could secure my own listing by upgrading to the Buy Box add-on.
At first, I wasn't sure if it was worth it, but I decided to take the chance. Best decision I made. Within a few weeks, I saw an instant jump in sales. No more competing. I was getting every single order from my listing. The frustration I had at the beginning was completely wiped away once I saw the difference.
If you're starting with Why Unified and feel like your sales aren't moving fast enough, get the Buy Box. It completely changes the game.
They promise a lot but dont deliver. Got a store a year ago and it made zero sales, cancelled my subscription but did finally get my refund luckily :)
Very disappointed in the service I have been provided. Marketing team doesn't give real updates just checks a box. I am 7mo in and I have sold 20 units of a product. They haven't brought in more products. I now have 2 "products" but in reality it is one because they wont restock the other and both have been inactive for over a month. I have asked to talk to someone higher up and they will not provide that information. I haven't been able to access the dashboard for over 4 months, but they "keep looking into it." I have no idea what is even going on in my account besides looking at my Amazon dashboard. I paid for the highest one so I should have made up the money I spent by 3 mo time and that is definitely not happening. Don't waste your money!
This company makes promises of a FREE hotel stay, and profitability within only 6 weeks. Well more than 8 later I haven't received the hotel stay or any sales from my store. After sending numerous emails (because there is no phone support) all I received was a backpedaling response of. "well sometimes sales can take longer", and suddenly they're not in charge of the hotel stay anymore. They pretty much took my money and ran.
I honestly would love to see proof of any sales this company claims to provide.
Answer: They are a legitimate company but the results are extremely poor. We've spent around $8,500 total including ad spend and their drop-shipping service. We've only generated $500 worth of profit. I would stay away
Answer: They're really quick. My account manager was always there via live chat and email anytime I needed him.
Answer: They are extremely quick to reply but you will always get canned automated marketing answers. Nothing will be unique to your account
