I ordered something & through either my on fault or there system I don't know I had the wrong size. Ordered I discovered. TO make things worse I was on the way out of the US thus only a short period over the weekend & early Monday, left messages as would not have phone/e mail. I had screwed up. Got back the correction had been made, part was on the door step so to speak, good guys.
I found WM on line a few years ago when I received a boat from my dad... it needed a LOT of work! I've been using wholesale marine for over 3 yrs now... NEVER been disappointed with them! Got the part I needed. Delivered in the time they said it would come. After some research, went with them for a prop and hub kit. They were the only ones I found that sold them together for one price. Great website and experience. Will be using them again!

I ordered a grill mount for my boat. I specifically asked Wholesale Marine if the product I wanted would fit my grill and they said it would. I then checked again with them based on the info on my grill box and they confirmed it would fit. When I rec'd it, I realized that the only way the grill fits the mount is if I drill new mounting holes on the bottom plate of my grill. In my opinion, that does not qualify as fitting.
These guys have zero communications on order status and are typically dependent on the manufacturer to ship directly. They have horrible follow through and cannot even provide shipping updates unless they call the manufacturer.
I had made more than a few orders and received them promptly. So, I have a history of spending about $1000 in the last few months. The last package arrived missing a couple items. They said they were in the shipment.
They were not in the box. They tried to tell me that they absolutely were. There is no way they were in the box when it was shipped, it arrived in perfect shape. They insisted on arguing the fact with me and hung up on me after waiting half an hour to through to somebody. DO NOT BUT FROM THESE GUYS. They will not stand by their mistakes. So they want me to eat the loss because they screwed up!
I ordered a 67" Obrien ski to replace my old one that also was 67". They sent a 65" ski even with my paperwork starting 67". It was literally at my eyes and shorter than my old Obrien. I've put on some weight and at 180 lbs. a 65" won't due. I paid $83 and will never buy another item for our two boats from Wholesale!
Getting an RMA, or just getting a hold of these folks, can be difficult. The Part I purchased had dimensions on the website, but the part that arrived did not match those dimensions. Significant rework would be required to make the part supplied fit the boat.
Ordered paint from wholesale marine. Ordered two colors within there options. Then they send one email canceling my order. Blaming me for choosing the wrong options. When there site aloud me to do it. They did not give me any options on how I could get my my order. Just that it was my fault and the order was canceled. This email was lost in 100's of emails I receive daily. So here I am three weeks latter still with no paint and no thanks to wholesale marine!
Color not close to what chart shows have called five times tried to leave message but inbox full waited on hold for 30 to 45 minutes before hanging up I ordered olive in color and this pic is what they sent the boat is olive
Prices not representative of gallon pricing. Even always over-priced West Marine was $100 cheaper per gallon on certain Wholesale Marine bottom paint listings. Very sad as there were other items I thought about purchasing. I'll go elsewhere.
We ordered $1,200 worth of product. It was suppose to ship in 7-10 days (don't buy into the same day shipping slogan they preach). They charged me the same day I ordered, yet, here are 32 days later and still have nothing. Multiple phone calls later and we still continue to get the "we will email you when we figure out what's going on", but have yet to receive an email. We were never even given an apology or offered any form of compensation. My last call was to cancel and that appears to be a difficult task for them to accomplish. I don't understand how a company can operate like this. Wish I would've read reviews before ordering.
I have been shopping with Wholesale Marine for over 10 years now. They offer a good selection and generally very competitive prices. The only reason that I'm not giving a full 5-star rating is that this most recent order was missing a few items. They were quick to ship them out when I called. Otherwise, I have had no issues with my orders with them.
The worst Company ever. They cheated an 87 year old veteran out of a return fee of 44.00 for a 28.00 item. They lied and told him the shipping return would be free AFTER he spent days and hours trying to get someone to answer their phones. Their customer service is deplorable and I recommend people do their best to stay FAR AWAY from this horrible company. I mean they have an F grading for a reason. Good job ripping off a war vet.
I have received products that were expired and my last order was for a set of navigation lights and received two green lights. They always make it right but constantly screwing up my work schedule, very frustrating.
I ordered a large waterproof duffel bag (which was stated to be in stock) and 2-day air express delivery, and 6 days later I've not received my shipment nor a reply to two emails to Wholesale Marine. Hello? Anyone home? Based on other reviews, I think I'll have VISA get my money back from them since they apparently don't do refunds either.
