Unbelievably frustrated with Wayfair and will never order from them again. Way better options such as Amazon, Walmart, etc that at least when they make a mistake they stand behind it and make it right. I ordered a some lights on Nov 18th with an expected arrival date of November 26th. On December 3rd, I still hadn't received them, so looked further into the order and it still said Estimated Arrival Nov. 26th. I called and the first agent was very apologetic and offered either a refund or to re-order/re-send. I told them that this was a Christmas gift so a refund was not a good solution, and to please re-send. I got a new confirmation with an email that said I'm sorry, but we're going to make it right. The new estimated arrival date was December 10th, which was fine for me as long as I had them by Christmas. On December 7th I received an email that said we apologize, your item has been further delayed the new estimated arrival date is May 6th.? What? May 6th? That's right. I called back and was told the only thing they could do was offer a 10% off coupon for my next purchase. THERE WILL BE NO OTHER PURCHASES FROM WAYFAIR! EVER! Thanks Wayfair - keep your coupon. Goodbye!

DAMAGED PRODUCTS
March 10, 2019

Wayfair's website is very appealing. What appears to be a wonderful selection of furniture and home decor has been nothing but disappointment after disappointment. Photos of eclectic furniture paired with their catchy commercial it's no surprise that Wayfair wasn't far from my mind when we decided to redecorate our bedroom. First things first I am in no way blaming the customer service team. Everyone I have encountered was wonderful and assisted with a replacement order immediately. My problem is with the manufacturers or the delivery of these products. Every single time an item shows up I am disappointed. I first ordered a beautiful pair of dark green accent pillows to match my bedroom, when they arrived they were cream colored. No big deal, I called customer service and they rectified the situation by sending me the correct color in a timely manner. I then ordered an actique picture frame. Once it arrived I opened the packaging and it was broken. Also no big deal, called customer service and they agreed to send me a new one, wonderful. ( I can't comment on the condition of this frame because I have yet to receive it.) The real kicker is the bed in the bag I ordered. Which was not only expensive but is the focal point of the bedroom. Layed my comforter on the bed and it looked horrible! Nothing like the photo online or on the packaging. It was ripped and half of the design was completely faded! As if that side was sitting out in the sun! I once AGAIN called customer service where they were very cordial and apologetic. They agreed to send me another comforter. Fingers crossed that it will look halfways decent but at this point who knows! I do know one thing, I will never order from Wayfair again! I've never had such bad luck with a company in my life. When I see their commercial now with that annoying jingle I just cringe!

I placed an order in early July during a Canada Day sale for a metal pergola and a 5 seat patio set with a fire table. I also bought 3 years warranty protection on all the items. I received an email approximately 2 weeks later saying that the items were shipped - expected delivery end of July. The next day I received another email stating that the patio set with fire table had an SKU error on the Wayfair side and that, that part of the order would be canceled and I could call to reorder the patio seating and fire table. Of course at this point the Canada Day sale was long gone. I called the next day to reorder the patio seating and fire table. The sales person was unable to locate the exact previously ordered item, however was able to find the exact item with just the seating and separate item for the exact same fire table - no longer being sold as one unit (even though many of their patio seating sets and fire tables are still showing together). No mention that the cost would be more than what I originally paid. I asked if I would still get the sale item prices. She told me the warranty would be higher as it was for 2 separate items versus one - but nothing about any additional costs. In the end I was charged an additional $1,197.45 (double the original cost) because of an error on their side. I can appreciate maybe $100 - $150 additional perhaps... but not double! They refuse to compensate me for this additional expense. Why is the customer being penalized double the cost for an internal error on the Wayfair side. Seems like a total scam to me. Also why was it listed as being shipped when it clearly wasn't. This is really terrible business practice and a sure way to never have anyone shop there again! I'll be spreading the news of this wide and loud in the hopes no one else falls for this terrible scam!

I ordered a stocking almost a month prior to Christmas at the end of November for my daughter. The estimated delivery date was December 6th. I did not receive the stocking so a week later I contacted Wayfair to see what was going on. I was told it was stuck in a warehouse but not to worry as it will arrive before Christmas. A week later I still had not received the stocking or an update so I contacted Wayfair again. They said it was still stuck in a warehouse and they couldn't tell me any more information at the time but someone would contact me in a day or two. No one contacted me so I called again and asked for a manager. I was then told again that they couldn't give me answers until they contacted the warehouse and that there was no guarantee this item would arrive before Christmas. I asked to cancel my order as there was no point in getting the stocking after Christmas. I spoke with a supervisor and asked how I could leave a review as the Wayfair website wasn't letting me. She said I could email her the review and she would post it online. After several days my review was still not posted online. I called again and spoke with another supervisor who told me I could not post a review since I cancelled my order. I told her I wanted to review Wayfairs services but she said I couldn't do that. If Wayfair doesn't let customers review their services and customer service I do not think the reviews accurately represent the company. Throughout the month I was dealing with this order and tracking it down I could have found a different stocking for my daughter but instead Wayfair wasted my time. This was my first experience with Wayfair and it was a terrible one! I will not be shopping at Wayfair again and I will not be recommending their services or products to friends and family.

- I place my order on May 1st and was told I'd receive delivery on the 22nd.
- In fact I did not receive delivery till June 2nd.
- Order arrived damaged and was told replacement parts would be shipped immediately and that I would receive replacement parts within 1-2 weeks (by June 15th). I did not receive replacement item and parts till July 7th
-replacement parts arrived damaged
- Wayfair requested I donate/dispose of the items and they will issue a FULL refund on the damaged goods and a "store credit" for my inconvenience and troubles.
- I disposed of the items, as I will not donate damaged goods (it's offensive)
- it is now September 9th. I still HAVE NOT received my refund from Wayfair.
- Every time I inquire about my refund, I'm told by Wayfair my "refund is in the mail"
- It's been four months since this ordeal started and still no refund (at this rate even a courier pigeon would have been faster).
- A costly lesson learned. BUYER BEWARE!
- To say this has been a terrible experience is an understatement.
- Wayfair is a terrible company to deal with. Again BUYER BEWARE!

WAYFAIR CATFISHING. - Buyer Beware
February 15, 2021

I intended to refurnish some rooms in my house and decided to give WAYFAIR a try. However, I was leery about the delivery times and the quality of the products so I started with one product, an area rug... it was a really great price at 83% off. The first Apollonie area rug I ordered, Wayfair cancelled it 3 weeks after the order date citing the price was mislabelled. It was $900 more than listed for that colour. I called Wayfair and looked on the site and was assured the same rug in another colour was priced correctly. Wayfair even gave me a 15% discount code for my troubles which I used to buy the rug and coordinating pillows. Three weeks later, that rug order was cancelled stating it was a processing issue. I called WAYFAIR again today to ask why the second rug I ordered was cancelled. I was told it was incorrectly priced. I asked why the rugs are still mislabelled on the website and what about the third colour rug? If I order that rug (photo enclosed) would it also be cancelled? Is there someone who can tell me the REAL price of the rug? After 45 minutes of waiting, the answer was NO from both the salesperson and the manager. Apparently, there is no one at Wayfair who can tell me the CORRECT price of any item on the Wayfair website. WHAT? I was told to read the terms of use (photo attached).

I am sure Amazon, Best Buy, Zulily, etc. have the same terms of use. However, they have not abused the terms as Wayfair has. The only reason the price of first 2 rugs I have ordered was immediately corrected on the site was because I asked/threatened them to do so. The third rug (photo attached) is still mislabelled on the site to be $900 less than the actual cost. I am sure if I ordered it, it will be cancelled also.

Is the mislabelling not CATFISHING? How can Wayfair justify their intentional mispricing of products to lure in customers and then just cancel any order for which they had no intention of honouring? I guess the answer is in the terms of use. However, I find it absurd that Wayfair can charge my credit right away, keep my money for 3 weeks and them take 7 days to return the funds for a transaction it never intended to honour. SHAME ON YOU WAYFAIR!

C'est très dispendieux pour un délais de livraison médiocre. Pour le prix qu'on paye, on s'imagine que c'est en express. Gosse déception. J'ai payé 400$ de plus que la valeur réelle de l'objet et je l'ai toujours pas reçu après presque 1 mois. Je le vois pendant une semaine au même endroit sans bouger. Je déconseille vivement ce site d'achat en ligne à tous mes proches et connaissances éloignées

Bad experience with wayfair

Aucune relation de confiance, tout est ambigüe. J'ai placé une commande pour un lit superposé de 4 places en ligne qui était supposé d'être livré entre le 29 juillet et 31 juillet 2020. Quelqu'un de chez FedEx le 23 juillet me demandant mon # d'apart, je lui ai demandé s'il avait un colis pour moi et de qu'elle compagnie il appelle? Il a raccroché, je l'ai rappelé 3 fois et lui ai posé la même question, il a raccroché toutes les fois. J'ai appelé wayfair pour savoir si j'allais recevoir ma commande ce jour là, la rep m'a dit que oui ils vont la laisser devant l'apart... je lui ai dit que c'est absurde, vous m'avez pas prévenu, je prendrai la possession de mon appartement le 28 juillet elle m'a mise en attente pendant 2hres de retour elle m'a dit tout est réglé j'ai appelé FedEx ils vont vous livrer tout le 28 juillet 2020
Je viens d'appeler Wayfair ce jour ils m'ont dit que la commande a été refusée par qui? Je ne sais pas. Si j'avais lu les commentaires sur la compagnie avant de faire à faire avec, je commanderais jamais chez elle. Wayfair USA n'est pas pareil ils respectent leurs clientèles. Wayfair Canada n'a aucun respect pour ses clients.
