My order never came and when I contacted them they told me it was sold out. I get it's the holidays but send an email about the situation and refund me my money back instead of trying to keep it!
If you buy from them as a gift better give it before Christmas, b day or whatever because they will not exchange anything beyond the"14" days, what crappy customer service considering the time of year
First off, I do love the cases. They're very cute and very protective. But I am now a month into the return process with no refund in sight. I ordered some cases on Nov 2 then spontaneously bought a new phone a few days later, so I contacted them about an exchange. No exchange, only return and reorder. Okay that's fine. I placed a new order for my new phone and sent them the requested details like order # I was returning, order # for the new cases, etc, and they said they'd include a return label with my new order so I could ship the first order back. I get the new order but there's no return label. I contact them again and they said they'd email me one. Almost a week later I finally get the return label and send the first order back. It was delivered to them 11 days ago, yet I have still not received my refund. This is ridiculous, I have never had any other company complicate and drag out the return process this badly. I have emailed them yet again, if I don't get my refund within the next 48 hours I'm filing a chargeback. Any future VC purchases, IF any, will be made through Amazon because at least they have an easy and quick return policy. I feel like I'm dealing with an 80s era mail order catalog waiting over a freaking month for a return.
The customer service was a horrible experience. It's one representative that is rude and doesn't care to compromise. Never ordering again. Don't waste your money and time with this site.
I have ordered from Velvet Caviar a couple of times, and never have I actually been satisfied.
The first time, it took over a month for my item to arrive, when it said 8-12 days on the website. Then, when it finally arrived, the softer part of the case (seems like silicone, but apparently it isn't) got so dirty almost instantly and cannot be cleaned. Even Magic Eraser won't clean it. So the case looks like junk now. Whatever material they use should not be used again!
I reluctantly ordered a black version of my dirty case, since I love the functionality of it, and I'm hoping black won't show the dirt. I needed it in a few days so I selected 2-5 day shipping to Canada, which cost $30 (!), but was worth it to me since I needed it. I noticed today that they package is still in LA and not close to coming on time. When I contacted them, they told me that there is a 2 day processing time, and THEN the 2-5 day shipping time. It does not state this on the site. It says 2-5 days. When you order from Amazon, and it says 2 days, it comes in 2 days! Not 2 days of processing and then 2 more days! I feel like this is pretty scammy on the website. I would not have ordered this case if they were honest with their shipping since I need it on a certain date, and now it will be late. I contact them about this by email and they were not helpful at all. I explained and asked if they would refund my shipping. Of course, they won't.
Bad customer service all around with Velvet Caviar! The cases are pretty but they don't stand up to typical wear and they look awful quickly. Avoid this company!
I placed an order for an iPad case and it went through fine. A few days later, I was sent tracking information. The tracking information NEVER updated. It always said that it was waiting for the store to drop off the package. After a few days, I email them to check in. They reassure me that it shipped and that sometimes processing takes time...? Okay. A few more days and the same thing when I check tracking. By the 19th day, I email them again asking WHY hasn't the tracking changed. And guess what? The fabled iPad case that they told me had shipped was actually out of stock! NO apology or anything. Just completely out of stock and we'll either refund you or I could wait until its restocked hahahaha. I'm refunded but WOW! What a complete waste of time. I would not recommend this unorganized/unprofessional website to ANYONE.
I ordered this case so I thought … a similar one was sent but it had pink all along the edges. After several emails since there is no phone I was told this one that is in the picture will not fit the iPhone 13 pro max that it only fits older models. My problem with this is they don't specifically tell you that the one in the picture isn't the one you order. I asked that since the information wasn't clear they send a prepaid return envelope because I feel that was very misleading. It is a 40.00 case plus tax and shipping so I felt it only fair they assume responsibility. They refused. So I will not order from here again and I suggest if you do you make sure what you order fits your phone. Don't just go by the picture on the site. I am showing the picture of what we received which is not what the Facebook picture looked like. The picture below on the left is what I got, the one on the right is what they advertised.
They have the worst costumer service ever; if there's something wrong with your item they will avoid you and then just give you credit. They also advertise free returns but that's not true you have to pay to ship it back. Avoid!
Did a survey for them. Email AND after survey response (that I have a screenshot of) stated that they'd send everyone who completed it a $30 gift card. After sending an email asking where the reward was after 9 days (they originally promised it after 7) they sent me an email stating that they'd send it the same day. Ok cool. Emailed them again and they stated I didn't qualify for the reward because of my responses. What? NO where did it state you needed to send extremely detailed responses to qualify. I still took out time to take the survey. And maybe I thought the company didn't need to make any improvements. All in all, glad that was their response. Didn't want to send the reward so I could get a discounted item and end up shopping with them again. Now, I'll just never spend another penny with them. There are plenty of sites that are actually legit and have prettier and more functional cases. Look them up on BBB before buying with them. You'll thank me.
Got a case here recently and its so uncomfortable at the bottom it hurts my fingers to hold my phone it feels sharp shoot my cheap case from amazon is better. They refuse to refund me due to the bogo deal bs and discounts they gave. They dont really care about customer satisfaction apparently.
They sell cheap junk made in China and cases don't fit devices. Their customer service will ignore your request for return and keep your money. Absolute THIEVES. Check out their BBB reviews and AVOID.

Horrible, horrible, customer service! We bought 3 cases from them. To start off they DIDNT come with a package! Super ghetto in my opinion as they were meant for gifts. They grabbed them in a flimsy tissue paper. When we tried one of the cases on it looked horrible and left marks under the case. I reached out to the company and now they won't return the case cause it was tried one for a second! Absolute complete SCAM! They don't want to help me with other two cases that WEREN'T opened! I am just disgusted by there customer service! Will never order from them and I don't recommended anyone else too in less you want too loose $.
The case yellowed quickly they told me to clean it. Didn't work. Wouldn't cover under warranty said it was from normal wear and tear. It's a good case very sturdy but looks gross. Don't get the clear cases.
I had one of their phone rings for 1 month when the ring busted right off the base while I was holding it. This caused my phone to drop and broke my screen protector, luckily it didn't break my phone.
I asked if they could replace the ring and send a new protector, or even a discount to buy a new protector because they sell them, and it would be a really nice gesture. I would have even bought a new screen protector from them and said so. Just anything to acknowledge that their product failed and caused damage.
They actually ignored the request for the new protector entirely and wouldn't even address it to say "No". They just kept repeating the same thing over again, that they could send a new ring, and then would ignore the rest of what I wrote. They copy and pasted it just to make sure I knew that they had zero time for me. I asked them why they behave like this and why they wouldn't speak to me and address my request and at least actually say no, but they continued to repeat the same thing and just ignored everything else.
They were incredibly dismissive, and it was extremely insulting. For a company that targets women, they have zero sensitivity and zero regard for their customers. They treated me like what I was asking was just too stupid for them to even bother acknowledging. Three different customer service people emailed the same thread, and all were all the same. Seems like they have a sad little crew of mean girls working for them with zero people skills.
I have had rings from the dollar store that lasted two years, Velvet Caviars ring lasted 1 month. They sell an inferior product, and they treat people like garbage. Definitely buy elsewhere.
I received my really cute phone case on June 10,2021. I've used it for 6 days. I contacted the company and sent them pictures. Their response its normal wear and tear. So basically they are saying their products only look good in the packaging and for less then 3 days. This is how the phone case look after using it for 6 DAYS!
When I like the products and service of a company, I would buy a bulk from them for My family and friends. However this company is full of it. I never received my order, and I've emailed them countless times and they have been ignoring my emails. The shipment update stated that it was sent back to them, but I never received any refund. PLEASE avoid Velvet Caviar! There's other electronic accessory companies that are way better than this BS company.
I purchased my 2nd AirPods case from Velvet Caviar, and as always the shipping was fast and the case definitely protects my air pods. I love the design and the heart shaped keychain is a pretty touch. I have also purchased a lot of phone cases from here and the quality and style is always amazing as well. Would definitely recommend this business.

I placed an order for two iphone 12 pro cases, wasn't marked anywhere that it was a pre-order, on my confirmation email there was no mention at all that this was a pre-order and I'd have to wait 40 days for my order just to ship. I emailed customer service to see if my order would be shipped and they said "start shipping by November." I later found out that by november means november 23rd lol. This should have been clearly described on the website that this phone model wouldnt ship until the end of november. I won't be ordering again. I'm sure the cases are fine quality but not worth the hassle.
If they had meant to put a disclaimer and forgot, an email should've been sent out to customers to let them know so at least we wouldn't be guessing about where the products we paid for are. Their website is also not letting me post a review.

Answer: Hello Amberlynn! I'm sorry to hear about the ring issue! We suggest that you make sure you press on the back plate of the ring from all edges and hold it for 20-30 seconds. Also, check to make sure the ring is sticky on all areas of the adhesive. We also suggest leaving it applied to the case & under something heavy overnight! The rings adhesive is meant to stick on any of our matte or gloss cases. It's best if you apply it immediately and press down on it hard to ensure it sticks firmly. However, rest assure the ring should adhere properly to your case if it is from Velvet Caviar :) Let me know if this helps!
