"Ordered a book for my doctoral program. They cancelled it without notice-and then increased the price. They stated that the book was unavailable which is why it was cancelled... but mysteriously, the book was available the next day (at a much higher price). The customer service rep then stated to order through another company if I was unsatisfied. Disgusting, yes I agree.
Ordered a book, assumed I was really going to get it, but when I went looking for when it shipped, it was marked cancelled! I got no notice about it or anything. Not a good experience for my first(and last) purchase from ValoreBooks.

I was only on the site for five minutes and found the journal. It was used but in good condition and it only cost 0.01. Shipping was only 3.95. Shipping on other sites is usually 8.95. No problems with filling out the info etc. Everything considered this is one of the best online experiences I have had.
I needed to re rent my text book, d/t not passing the course, and I could not re rent. I had to send books back and re order them. Even after sending the contact person an email and being charged an for extension. Its bad enough I have to repeat course, but this site could not make it easy...
I've searched 5 sites for the least expensive price and I found it. I did a google search found this company and I will be sure to tell my classmates I just saved 20.00 on my rental if I went to Barnes and Noble. It was more expensive to rent this book on Amazon. I'm happy I found this book rental website.
I regret putting my personal information onto this site because as soon as I completed my order it prompted me the option to have "free return shipping and 10% cash back". I clicked it and it sent me to a different site that was sketchy.
I saved $250.00 on 2 books and did it all in less time than it took to finish this review. Mama didn't raise no retail fool! Shop ValoreBooks and spend that cash you saved on something that matters, like Haribo Gummi Bears!
This company is messed up! I sold a book in good condition to them however, when they received it I was told it had sever water damage. When I shipped out the book at Fed Ex it was in good condition so I filed a claim with Fed Ex. I then get an email from Valore books that I might want the book back as it only has slight water damage? So first it is severe and then it is slight? Fed Ex denied the claim as they advise that there was no external damage therefore they are not responsible. Valore books advise that they are not reliable either. HMMM It is Magic folks that a book shipped out of Nevada in good condition can turn up with water damage. Both companies pass the buck and will not except responsibility. Valore books now tells me that it will take 45 days to receive my book back? HUH? Why 45 days? LAME! I will not use either company again!
The Prices are awesome... I am going to College to get my Veterinary Technician Associates Degree and found the Books i needed for awesome Prices. Just the Shipping takes forever... and sometimes the Seller gives Tracking # and sometimes they don't. Also when you buy more than one Book. Why not combine the Shipping? This is absolutely NOT Valore Books fault because after you purchase a Book it is the Companys responsibility to take Care of the Orders. Valore Books get's 5 Stars... :)
Had no problems. The process was quick and easy to do. The layout and look of the website was great and I'm glad I was able to get my books for a cheap price here. The Alternative options for books were very nice to see as well.
The search engine was user friendly. I was able to locate the book quickly with no errors. The drop box selection made that process easy by allowing me to see multiple books similar to the one I was looking for.
I have been ordering books from this website for almost 4 years now. I have only had one complaint ever. This is hands down the best bookstore I have ever found. I have school books that are almost 300$ and I find them for less than 10$ at times.
The website gave me problems the first time I attempted to order books but as I am on a budget I decided to email the help desk and ask for assistance, instead of resorting to a more expensive website. I received a response back the next day saying the error would be fixed and when I went on to check out I was able to find the book for even cheaper and the website placed my order no problem!
I was trying to rent books for a semester but wanted to know if i could extend the rental. Betty directed me to a link hat shows me how to extend my rental. I asked her how much and she kept telling me to go to link. She did not answer all my questions. I wanted to ask her again but the chat was blocked/closed.
I don't even check other sites anymore, because I know that valore has the best prices, espicially for the teachers' editions of books. Yes, the shipping is off, sometimes it takes up to 2 months to get my books for college, but they come exactly as they were foretold in the descriptions. I used to have difficulty getting my card through (even though more than valid amount in my account) but they fixed the bug. It's not perfect, but i've honestly recommended it to all my friends for our college books.

Never a hassle. Been in college for 6 years and counting. They make it easy and convenient! Says this thing needs more characters. Who is making the criteria for the survey needs to not make it 100 words minimum cause now you have people like me who will do this just so they could submit their review. Or worse yet, will just back out and not submit it at all. NEVER force people to do something more that is already out of their way. Haha so besides this survey Valore Books is A-okay in my book!
This has always been easy to buy from or rent from and they work for what I need them for. They are in great shape and they are exactly what I look for in the book I'm graduating soon and this has truly been a lifesaver and money saver thanks valor books for helping me get through school.
