Ordered a dress 6/14/18. Paid $7 standard shipping and received it on 6/23/18. It was super tiny, so I needed to size up. I had to reorder the dress, pay another $7 in shipping AND had $6 deducted from my refund for return shipping. It is 7/3/18, and I still don't have my dress. I had ordered a dress from the UK 2 days later, and received it 4 days later. I could walk to CA and pick the dress up faster than their shipping. I will not be ordering again.
I ordered an cute pink bag with the shape of an cat and it arrived in only 3 days. I liked it but I only came for the bag and won't shop there again. Anyways, they have totally cute bags but they are really pricey too.The quality was good, altough it was a bit too big.Other than that worth the money.

First their clothes are amazing. Great quality every single time. I've bought swimsuits, dresses, skirts from here and get tons on compliments. I was browsing their site and saw a skirt I really wanted for my office Christmas party. But waited a bit and it was no longer in the new releases section. I couldn't find it anywhere on the site. I emailed customer service and they offered to help me find it. I happened to have a picture of it saved and the customer service rep went and found it for me! AND I told her it was a dress when technically it was a skirt and she still took her time to locate it for me. So I ordered immediately.
I ordered a dress in my size according to the measurements on the sizing chart. When i received the dress, it did not fit the way the sizing chart promised and would not zip up once it got to my bust, and i made sure the measurement for the bust was bigger on the sizing chart because i did not want this to happen. My dress looked cheap, but similar to the picture. I probably will never buy another dress again from this website, however, i would go there again, but only for the jewelry. My credit card number was stolen after using this website and somebody was making fraudulent charges.
I would give them zero stars if I could because my experience with this business has been horrible! I ordered a vintage style dress in size medium. For reference I am 5'4" and weigh 125 and wear size 4 or 6, which is typically a size small. But I ordered the medium to be safe and it was cut too small. This wouldn't be a problem if I could easily return it. When I tried to start a return by following the directions on the back of the order, the link they sent didn't work. I tried multiple times from different devices so I know the issue wasn't from my side. I tried to call their toll free number and the business was "closed" 3 and 1/2 hours before their closing time. I have emailed them but never get a real person to respond. I keep getting the same auto email in response, sending me a link that doesn't work! The whole thing seems a little suspicious to me and I wonder if it is even a credible business.
I made my first purchase with UV and loved the dress I ordered. A bonus, I got to use a coupon code for my purchase as well. Because of COVID-19, my baby shower was cancelled resulting in me not being able to wear my dress. Which also meant the dress would be way too big for me to wear after the birth of my child. This all took place 30 days outside of UV's return policy window. The team was amazing, understanding, and accommodating to my situation, allowing me to return the dress and receive store credit! I can't wait to make my next purchase with UV!
I see there are a lot of poor reviews on this site but I wanted to share my positive experience with Unique Vintage. I ordered a dress and it had a stain on the collar so I sent an e-mail right away (with pictures) of the stain and first thing Monday someone got back to me with a replacement dress and a shipping label to send back the stained one. It seems to me that most of the complains on here have to deal with back orders or international shipping. Both of which sound like "user error" to me. I know not to buy things from Europe or Asia because they cost more and they don't arrive half the time. That's not really Unique Vintage's fault, it's more of a USPS/FEDEX/UPS/Customs problem. Just my opinion.
I bought one dress, I loved it! But for Canadians it is far too expensive I was disappointed when I had to pay almost the cost of the dress on import taxes! I have bought somethings coming from the States and the cost is not that much. I wish the store would have a Distributor in Canada. A pity because I love their dresses but too expensive just because they come from the States...

I ordered several items. The quality was lovely but the sizes are very inconsistent and
Inaccurate. The returnly system is hard to use. The system would not do what I was asking it to do. I ended up with an immediate credit that i did not want but was obligated to use. I wont shop here again. There are too many other great websites with free shipping and returns.
I have had nothing but a pleasant experience with Unique Vintage! I made a purchase online and ordered it in the incorrect size. Maura from Unique Vintage assisted me in exchanging the lovely olive green velvet dress for the size that meets my needs in the easiest and smoothest way possible! Thanks to Unique Vintage I will have the dress in the right size right in time for a wedding I will be attending!
I ordered online and received a final sale dress that I discovered had a dye flaw in the fabric. I was concerned when I called customer service that I wouldn't be able to get a replacement because it was a "final sale." I was reassured immediately that I could get a replacement if I emailed them photos. I emailed several photos of the fabric flaw then received a prompt email reply from Maura who sent me a return label to facilitate the return with a reassurance that a replacement would be mailed shortly. Both the customer service representative I spoke to over the phone and Maura were super friendly and helpful. I received the replacement dress 4 days later.
My feather headpiece arrived with a broken feather. I emailed customer service and they got back to me right away and sent me another headpiece free of charge and overnighted it to me since my event was in a couple of days. Awesome experience and wonderful quality clothing. Will use them again.
Fast, efficient and friendly customer Service by Maura who was able to give me (as accurate as possible) estimate on overseas shipping. Given the urgency of my item I paid express which Maura was able to expedit despatch given that it was coming to Australia.
My item arrived on time and I could not be more thrilled. While I did pay extra for express shipping it is worth every cent due to the extra work involved.
My item was also true to the image displayed on their website, from the colour to the detail. So kudos to the website team on your web design and colour matching.

Awful online experience! Ordered 5 items; 3 came in one shipment. I received an email saying my full order had been delivered, then I checked my order status on the website and it said the other items would come in a second shipment. Even the online customer service said everything had shipped. When I pointed out what the site said, CS informed me that one of my remaining two items was on backorder. I canceled it.
The final item to arrive was a t-shirt that DID NOT look anything like the picture (it looks fitted in the picture, but it is just a giant t-shirt), and I ended up returning it.
I just washed everything for the first time (haven't even worn them yet except to try them on) and already a button fell off a pair of shorts. I'm really disappointed because I love the vintage look, but it's so not worth it to deal with this site. This is my first and last order with UV.

So I ordered the blue suede T-strap heels in a size 9 and even taking them out of the box I was pleased! While I cannot vouch for the wear and tear or the comfortableness of the shoe itself (only reason they didn't get 5 stars) since I have not worn them, I can say that they look beautiful. The only thing customers should really keep in mind is that the shoes are cut VERY small---not true to size at all. I am a perfect 8.5, but I had to re-order a size 10. Hopefully, the 10 will be perfect with a great pair of insoles! Also, the customer service that I received was WELL ABOVE what I was expecting--she contacted me on a Sunday! Within minutes of receiving my email. Maura was outstanding, and I would consider purchasing again just because of how she treated me! I cannot wait for my shoes to arrive.
I love browsing Unique Vintage, however yesterday I found a dress for $80 that I have in my closets that I paid only $20 for on amazon. This isn't the first time I seen an item on UV that was over priced and found the match for on amazon either. I find it sketchy, so beware, and always double check!

Sadly, we have been having a lot of issues with knock-off's of our our original styles. Which is why you might see similar styles at half the cost, if not more. Unfortunalty, we cannot stop these stores from selling copies of our styles, and hope our customers do not support knock-off brands.

I had an issue with my delivery being misdelivered so I contacted customer service. They immediately refunded my money. The representative I spoke with was extremely helpful even though the misdelivery was not their fault at all and more than happy to compensate me. I can't say enough good things about Maura, the representative I spoke with, and their customer service.
I was hesitant to order because of the mixed reviews, but soooo glad that I did. I called first and talked to a real person who explained the dress would get to their store in two days and should be on my front door 2 days after that. My daughter was able to try on the dress at a local store (she normally wears a 4 but this was too tight). We ordered a 6 and it fit perfectly and was the exact same dress that we saw at the boutique! We ordered the dress on a Thursday and it arrived on Monday by Fed Ex. I would absolutely order from them again! As with anything ordered online - its nice to be able to try on at a local place to really get an idea of fit.

Answer: I went off their sizing chart and everything fit perfect. Some dresses has different sizing measurements so not all XL are the same. I am guessing it is because of the material. One of the dresses I bought was 2 sizes smaller than I usually buy and it fit perfectly
