Recommendation: do not purchase using the web
The prices are more expensive than average a tee shirt cost a lot more and it does not have a lot of options there. It was simply the same design but different colour.
I purchased 3 shirts that were too small. The return policy was confusing but it said I could exchange but not return at a store. One of the shirts was defective also - it has white marks on it. I took them to the store with the original packaging which includes a URL code and price. Tried on next size up which fit and went to the register. They would not EXCHANGE these items without an email or invoice which I did not have. The manager did not seem to believe the one shirt had arrived damaged and was not particularly friendly. He gave me the customer service # to call and they said it is at the store's discretion. So after spending over an hour to get there and go through all that and get home I spent quite a while with a customer service rep on the phone who actually was helpful though she had to keep putting me on hold to ask her supervisor questions. She found my order in their system. The upshot, I can not exchange them I have to just return them, I had to sent her photos of all the packages and the defective shirt, and go through all the aggravation now of packing them all up to send and taking them to the post office. I liked the shirts but they just lost my on line business and I likely will not return to that store either, I could not believe how hard this was and is and that the manager did not accept that I had not worn that defective shirt. I like their products but I am through with them.
This company seems good but they are total scammers. Their online service is total bs. I will never ever shop from this company again. They charged me and sold me a jacket that they don't have. And when I asked them cancel the whole order they said they can cancel whatever they want not the whole order. And asked me to return it for $7 for the items I bought to able to get jacket for free shipping.
I tried to return an item at a different uniqlo location from where I bought it from and was denied the refund. They said I can only return it to where it was purchased. What nonsense. This was a totally inconvenient and annoying experience.
What happened to the 100,000 heattech promo? Received a promo code from them only to find out a few hours later Uniqlo cancelled the order. No charge according to them but still holding the funds for shipping. Whatta lame way to handle business! Shop elsewhere. All hype major disappointment
No free return shipping label. I ordered Small size but it's like Large. I mesaured with my old Small size vest and it's not the same size. On the photo my old vest is on the new one. It's the company's fault if they oversized, and not offering free shipping label it's shame.
Sent my clothes in for refund a while ago. All my inquiries about the refund situations fell on deaf ears. There were no replies at all. It is very ironic their email adress is "*******@mail.uniqlo-usa.com". They definitely do not care at all.
I will never shop there again.
But if you are looking for cheap clothing without any customer service and an expensive return policy, Uniqlo is your place.
Awful place to deal with... it took over a month to obtain my credit which should have been for $37.79 but instead was for $27 and change. The only way I was able to get my credit was because I filled out an online form to the Better Business Bureau. There is no one to talk to in the CS department as UNIGLO blames the current Covid on not having a CS department. The merchandise is pretty goo quality but definitely not worth the the poor service and total lack customer service.
Uniqlo falsely stated that they did an in-depth investigation into my missing package, therefore no refund per Various Uniqlo puppets, including the supervisorscontrary to what FedX told me that my package was only tracked as delivered. It should've been put in complex parcel lockers. Shocked that an international store would provide such poor service. Unsubscribed, never to set foot in bottom feeder place. They don't answer emails either. Might be having cash flow probs if they're so desperate for monies. Buyer beware...
I don't like been follow by the employees while shopping, employees all the time follow a costumer is rude and uncomfortable. Give the costumer some space please. Worst part if you buy something only they charge you if you are going to return, you might return to one of their stores but if they don't carry your item they make you by mail which means you have to pay.
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
Common technology allows businesses to process returns with only the receipt to original form of payment. However, UNIQLO requires the presence of the physical credit card, which in my case, differs from my spouse and obviously not something I carry with me. This is simply a tactic by UNIQLO to reduce returns to its business. What a turn off and not customer friendly. Also, the UNIQLO website does not allow feedback about the specific store in our area due to the store's location being a requirement to process and our state not being listed.
Uniqlo.com collects NYS sales tax on exempt clothes. NYS= State clothing and footwear sales tax exemption. They do this for other states that exempt certain purchases
Beginning April 1,2012, clothing, footwear, and items used to make or repair exempt clothing1 sold for less than $110 (per item of clothing or per pair of footwear) will be exempt from the states 4% sales and use tax (sales tax).
Amazon, LandsEnd, Eddie Bauer and many other online retailers have billing programs that do not include these taxes. Uniqlo says the consumer must contact them for a refund. Illegal to collect sales taxes for goods that are not taxed.
Uniqlo has an option to use GiftNow. If you use GiftNow, they will apply an estimated tax base on the highest sales tax in the country, with that honor belonging to California (12%). The tax is applied regardless of whether your state charges sales tax on clothing or not. If the recipient lives in a state where no sales tax is charged, the recipient receives the tax amount in the form a gift card. This is done without your prior approval. So if you send someone a gift costing $200 you will inadvertently give the recipient an extra $24. If the recipient never redeems the gift card, guess what? Uniqlo benefits from the unused amount.
Uniqlo store is appalling and there are much better options out there.
Please be aware depending on where you come from you may not be eligible for in store discounts despite them advertising it.
If you ask for help in store they will not be able to help you and will actually tell you "you are not the only one with this problem" but despite this will not do anything to help solve the issue.
If you approach help online you will be met by a lack of ability to help and rudeness since I didn't make the purchase online. The online customer service help will instead ask you to go back to the store you purchased from.
There are much better stores out there to purchase products from and tbh they are likely to be better quality.
After waiting in line, store could not process sign-in discount (spent 10 min trying)
Can not return items to a store, and must pay postage to return item
Almost impossibe to figure out how to return an item on-line
I'm not one who spends time on reviews of any kind, but Uniqlo's handing of a request to return a faulty item was so pathetic that I have no way out. They wouldn't return the item or even give me store credit a couple of days after their return window (30 day after PLACING THE ORDER) even though I told them I'd just come back from a trip and I couldn't have returned it any earlier. I had a plane ticket as proof! I attach pictures of the torn top. The tear happened as soon as my friend put it on. I wish I'd never bought it for her in the first place. She lost $30, and I lost 90 minutes on chat twice over the course of two weeks trying to solve the issue, but they're completely unreasonable. They don't share a number to call and talk to a human. DO NOT BUY UNIQLO. You'll regret it should you have an issues with quality or size of the item you bought. Monica M. I'd give them a ZERO STAR if I could.
Just buying using a credit card is impossible! Requires registration and personal data, delivery takes 7+ days and costs $17
Answer: Legit company that behaves like scam artists-see review about returning Airism camisoles, for item they themselves called defective, wouldn't refund return shipping until requested 5 separate times, even after agreeing to do so, and still fighting me about refunding original shipping charges
Answer: Extremely hard — your can reach them by chat and they refuse to call you when you ask them to (they say they cannot do it, which seems dubious to say the least)— really not a helpful customer service.
