I was hoping they would add a gift with purchase that I saw after I had placed an order. I saw the email right after I had finalized my order, then immediately pulled up my order, hoping to modify or cancel. Neither option was available. So I sent 2 emails to customer service and told them about my problem and request. Then, they replied with a request for the order number, so I sent it. The response was, you didn't add the gift code on the order, but we will email you offers in the future. I wonder if they even read the first part of my email explaining that their website is not user friendly. Unbelievable!

Ulta carries The Body Shop products. I'm an avid user of their products at comparable prices to the website. Not to mention I can use a coupon to help with costs. The employees seem to know their stuff and most look like they enjoy their job.
When buying foundation makeup, it is essential to have appropriate lighting. Otherwise, you are matching your skin to a foundation in an environment that doesn't exist outside of the store. Do your customers and yourself a HUGE service. Allow more natural light into your store. Offer better lighting so that customers can actually see how the makeup will look in a variety of lighting. Your store lighting is so subdued and dark that any foundation will look good, because you can't actually see what it really looks like. Perhaps that's your marketing strategy. I stopped going there and purchased the foundation I wanted from a competitor, where the lighting was much better and I didn't have to return to the store numerous times to exchange the product in order to get the best match. I just got so tired of trying to find the perfect foundation in a dark store.
In September 1,2023 I placed my monthly Ulta order with some expensive add ons. I had been waiting on a great lip plumper I had my eye on to go on sale, $49 StriVectin Double fix. It was still same price, but they were giving away a free gift with the purchase of the plumper. A StriVectin anti wrinkle trio for the neck, eye, and face came with the $49 StriVectin Double fix purchase. That's all! Great I said! Âdd to cart! Well my package arrived quickly and guess what? No gift! NOTHING! Only the items I ordered that's it. After several texts and phone calls back and forth with Ulta, still nothing. Also, I have been called a liar, not in those exact words but the context and pretty much that my memory is bad. I was told the promo said I had to spend $85 which is what the following weeks promo was running. Then they go and change the add to that new one. I usually screenshot the promos and of this one I forgot to do that. Oh well, stupid stroke. I may have been born at night but it wasn't last night! I have spent a lot of $$$ over the years and I'm done with Ulta! I'm a stand-up comedian and video influencer, I may have a few followers lol and a big mouth. Best and worst advertisement is and always will be word of mouth. Also my birthday is September 13, they're supposed to give a birthday gift. Never received it neither. Thanks Ulta
My package didn't show up today and I immediately contacted Ulta's customer service. They told me that they couldn't resolve this issue directly and that I had to file a dispute with Paypal (my payment method), which could take days or even weeks. Any other retailer would most likely have resolved this issue directly and immediately, especially during their own sales and promotions. Now I'm SOL if my package doesn't show up because Ulta's sales and promotions would end by then. Thanks a lot Ulta.
I used to order from Ulta a lot and never had any problems with shipping until they apparently changed the carrier they use. No one knew where the package was, could not get a hold of the carrier (lasership, never heard of this ever) and they had the audacity to ask if I wanted my refund in an e-gift card! Nope! I closed my Ulta credit account, asked for a refund back to my card and will be shopping ONLY on Sephora.com. I understand shipping is crazy with COVID right now but at least use a reputable carrier! Lasership is not good!

I went to purchase $100 worth of product yesterday online, to receive an 11 PC lip sampler. I tried all day to make the purchase, it would never go through, I got sidetracked and then I called today to see if they will fulfill my order the 1st person said she was having phone problems, i asked her to call me back, she ended up hanging up on me, and didn't bother to call me back, I called back again and they won't give me the online special. I will not be ordering my products through Ulta. I will shop somewhere else. I am very dissatisfied with them
I'm a huge fan of Ulta and I'm also slightly addicted. The variety of things is huge and the convenience is just awesome. I can browse online at all they have literally for hours. I've spent hundreds of dollars and have not a single complaint about them.
Cosmetics and perfume galore among so much more too. I know that I haven't even touched the surface of seeing all that they have but I definitely look forward to exploring and finding out.
Every woman should check out Ulta at least once! I've bought so much stuff from there that I can't take a picture of all of it so I'm paying just a couple of items I recently got such as eye masks, lip masks and moisturizing hand gloves.
Ulta is providing very good products and I have been shopping at Ulta from the start. I always recommend theri products to my friends and family. Sometimes their delivery services are slow but worth waiting for.
They have some good products and some bad, Just cause they're expensive doesn't mean its good. My friends bought an angled eyebrow brush for ten dollars and thought it was a bargain but it was total crap because it isnt even precise at all.
I've been to many Ulta's, I love the brands and selection. Sorry, Sephora has somethings, but Ulta beats them in my book.
However, every store I've been too has had the utmost nasty staff. We don't all work at Ulta like you, but you don't know where we work, the condescending attitudes needs to stop.
It's perfectly safe, I've purchased online a few times with no problems! Usually if it's a big company like that, it's fine. The only time you need to second guess a purchase is if it's from a sketchy website based in China.
Spent hours in store scanning all my products to purchase for curbside pickup because my card strip is broke and won't swipe.

Guest services says they can't cancel even though the order was made over an hour ago. I can't take my products home I paid for. I drove an hour here and I've been waiting outside on guest services line for over an hour now waiting for help I will not get!
I can't even cancel my own order to try to repurchase. I'm livid. Never again and now I'm on hold forever waiting for the corporate number. This isn't okay with me at all.
The employees did the best they could to help they saw what happened even I selected in store pickup! Oh great and now after being on hold for over an hour I am disconnected again because she didn't wanna give me the corporate number. I don't think I will shop at ulta again!
About 3 weeks ago i died my hair blonde at home (the color i wanted) it just needed doctored. I walk into ultra asking how much it would be if they doctored my roots. Long story short they dyed my hair brown and when I got home there was a green tent to it. I spent 175 for my hair to be green thanks ulta.
I ordered Clinique products from Ulta online. Because there was a free gift with a purchase price threshold, I ordered additional products to qualify for the free gift. It did not arrive with the purchased products. When I called to complain, the representative refused to make it right. (Their customer service is obviously foreign based as I could barely understand her.). Never using Ulta again.
I always shop at Ulta for all my makeup needs. IT Cosmetics are one of the best products that I have used for foundation and Ulta always have the best prices. The rewards program that Ulta offers is unparalleled to none. I have also bought a CHI flat iron several times over the past 10 years and have never had any issues returning it when there were issues.
Answer: It's not that the prices are particularly higher than anywhere else, it's that the products they sell are very high end and nowhere except like Marshall's etc has any of those brands for less. So I'd say yes they're all worth the money. Some brands are better than others depending on personal preference but they also have a rewards program that's free :)
Answer: If you're asking about Ulta's brand, you can only buy it at Ulta. Other items can be purchased through other retailers. However, you have to really dig to find anything cheaper than Ulta. Especially during a sale and with a coupon.

Answer: Many companies have this policy. Probably because they allow returns at their stores very easily. I usually just place a new correct order, and return the incorrect order. Sometimes if you call customer service, depending on the mistake, they can fix it for you.
