Purchased multiple sets of tires from them, because the cheap price point. When you have a warranty issue, it's a nightmare. I recommend everyone to spend a little more and purchase from discount tire.
Last set of nittos i paid $1300 with a 50k warranty. At 29k on the tires, one Bubbled up and they would not send me a new one. Ended up having to purchase a whole new set cause they did not have the tire in stock.
After selecting the tires the work begins. Tires were going to be delivered in 5days. Checked tracking number each day and nothing was shipped. Called them on the 5day and the service person said he had never seen this before but would get them shipped from a different warehouse. So about 2 weeks after ordering the tires arrive at the tire shop. My father takes the truck down and has the tire installed then calls me saying that they charge him $104 not the $68quote on Tirebuyer. TireBuyer says you had the lifetime balance put on not the standard. Do you think they asked which mounting you want? Just a pain thru the whole process, go somewhere else. Buy from a one stop shop and save yourself a headache of dealing with these people.
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I ordered here twice within last 2 months and BOTH times I received 3 tires. 4th one is lost in transit for what seems like weeks. You can email, call, text, but you won't get an answer for these guys. Still trying to get my 4th tire as of now. That I've been trying to contact daily for a week since 3 tires showed at my door. LIKE WHO BUYS 3 TIRES?! This place needs to shut down.
Haven't had to deal with returning any tires but I bought some Nitto grapplers and they arrived at the installer in less than 24 hours. The installer could not get my truck in for a week so I called customer service and the rep called the installer and had them release the tires to me so I could take them somewhere else to get installed. The tires were the lowest priced anywhere and $350 less than Discount tire with 10% off special they had. I will only buy tires from them from now on. For those complaining about tire quality from TB, they dont make the tires, if you buy cheap brand tires, its to be expected.
I bought a set of tires for my roto-tiller; and they work great. The sale was great, and the timely service was excellent. I would definately buy from them again, and would refer them to other buyers as well. (i want to thank the salesman that replyed back to my question about the tires as well) Thank you tire buyer!
I was worried when we only received 1 of 4 tires ordered! Contacted company and was told the other 3 had been on backorder but were being shipped and couldn't get a tracking number. Seemed like it was going to be a hassle but the other tires came within a couple days and we were credited 10% back. We would of liked to have been notified of the backorder issue in the beginning but they took care of everything and the end result was very good. Tires are great and the delay was resolved quickly. Thank you guys!
Very pleasant. Delivered as promised, on time and the right product.
Always great service. That's the reason I use Tirebuyer!
Just talked to Terrence after buying new tires less than 30 days ago. Told him the problem w the NITTO Tires I bought. He informed me that their return policy ONLY applies if shipping to a installation center of their list. So now I'm screwed. STAY AWAY and won't ever trust Tirebuyer again.
I tried to return a defective tire, and got nothing but resistance. They claimed they mailed two return shipping labels, but I received neither. Then they tried to claim they faxed the return shipping label to the shipping store itself, but the shipping store associate acknowledged TireBuyer sent "empty" faxes, meaning they dialed the number, but sent no documents. Swindlers. You really learn about a company when you have to return a defective product. Recommend another vendor.
I am sorry you had issues. We mail forms regularly. Please give us a call and we can get this fixed.
I ordered 2 tires and they only sent 1, then lied and said wait 48 hours before they would do anything then it was another 48 hours, then said they were delivered and were going to cheat me out of a tire. Then they finally sent another only to make it wrong so i did not get it, then after another 48 hours they said it was delivered.
They do nothing correct and refuse to do anything to get you the tire. I had to spend hours to finally get my tire. The only reaon I got it was because I had to prove I did not get the tire.
Do not buy from them
Quick response on re-sending the tracking number, order received timely!
I bought these tires 9 months ago. It was a fair deal. One tire started splitting down the side. I calle TireBuyer and they instructed me to send photos. I did. The next day Hailey called back and said that it was clearly due to a scuff and that it was my fault. They offered a 15 percent discount for being a committed customer.
I knew that I was in the right. I called Nitto tires and explained the situation. They said it has to be thoroughly inspected but the tire should not split and that I should go to another authorized dealer, which I wanted anyway bc I felt they were dishonest. I went to another authorized dealer and it was clearly defective. I wrote an email to Hailey and it was silence on the lines. No apology, nothing. Here's for thought, take the price and go to discount tire. They will match the price.
I also wrote a review and they wouldn't let me post bc it had to be "verified".
Waited 15 minutes to process my refund after being told tire was never shipped. I also expected a call from a supervisor as was promised the very nice customer service person. No one ever called.
It was good. Great tires, appreciated the discounts through id me
There was an issue with the shipping address on my package. It was incorrect. I called Tirebuyer for help in getting this resolved. Meanwhile I do not have a drivable vehicle bc I need a tire. My vehicle is sitting at Firestone where the tire I ordered needs to be delivered. They told me they could do nothing about the incorrect address since it was already inroute. They advised I would have to wait until FedEx shipped the tire back to them, then they would re-fund me, and I would have to start the process all over again. Meanwhile I knew that was BS, so I got the tracking number called FedEx myself to make them aware of the situation they put in a report that goes out to the dispatcher, and they will let them know of the street address update. They did not care that I was without a car, no one took any initiative to try and help me, not even a manager. I will NEVER use them again nor will I recommend them to anyone.
They told me I had a road hazards warrantee, now my brand new tire has a nail In it and their saying they never offered one. I would have never ever ordered tires without road hazards. I paid top dollar and this business needs to be shut down! DO NOT BUY FEOM THEM. 100% rip off
Company does not do their job properly, nor are they empathetic to their customers. Ordered 4 tires with installation fee paid. Company policy is they will contact the installers to set up the appointment-- a delivery confirmation was never received. Upon calling to confirm delivery, they had 4 tires on site... with no idea of ownership. No work order, invoice, nor payment was submitted to the installers. How do I look expecting a service and they have no idea what services were truly paid for!
To make matters worse, the installers did not have the proper equipment for installation. What does one do when all services were paid for? I called tirebuyer to explain the situation hoping they can just redirect me to another authorized dealer. Nope. They are unable to redirect your work order, despite the fact that they are working with companies who are not fully equipped.
Tirebuyer charges $66 for an installation fee which includes mount, balance, disposal & recycle fee --- which was paid for. But the SAME installer will charge over $120 for the same services to a walk in customer.
So, now I'm stuck paying double for the installation fees. Called off work for this and the company could careless.
Just be mindful of what you're getting into.
I am by no means upset with the dealership, Tirebuyer on the other hand? Learn to do properly service customers. I truly expected them to recharge me for a new installation fee at one of their other different locations. I had no problem in doing that.
So, best of luck to any of their future customers.
Great service Great prices ver fast delivery love this place
Answer: Hi John, can you please email Matt directly at mtiner@tirebuyer.com and he will figure out what is happening with your tires. Thanks for reaching out, we want to make this right.
Answer: We usually ship same day, but next day at the latest. Thanks!
Answer: The prices quoted are for the tires. We do list mounting and balancing for each of our approved installers on the site and we guarantee that price.
Answer: The tires that i bought are made in China. I did not price around, i did need tires for my roto-tiller, tire buyer was the first site that i went to, that had the size tires that i needed; so i bought them. Tire buyer was not the first website i checked out. Tire buyer was the first site that i went to that had the size tires that i needed though. They are tubeless, & yes they are not cheap hard rubber tires like for lawn-mowers. I am happy with them.
Hi John, we are really sorry for your experience. Can you please email the head of our Customer Champion team directly at mtiner@tirebuyer.com and he will help out.
