Bought tickets to a Rays game and never received the QR to get in. Had to purchase again at box office after driving 4 hours. Won't refund bc the event didn't cancel. Never going to purchase another ticket here, and I go to a lot of events.
I would highly recommend to go to the events actual vendor to purchase your tickets from! This company is absolutely horrible to deal with! On March 16th I used their Android app to purchase what seemed like a Hockey game that was playing on this night. Through their app it didn't show this was an away game and in Orlando, FL, I am in Boise, ID. How I found out was sorta embarrassing but I walked up to the doors at the arena to find out hey you purchased tickets to an away game. I contacted support as soon as I could just to be told to basically you're screwed and we will not help you or exchange your tickets to a local game. They even went as far as gave me multiple reasons as to why I was denied a refund. Would even reach out to the "producer or venue" to say hey there was a honest mistake in purchasing tickets may we refund/exchange them for them.
To give this business one star is too much. We purchased tickets through transfer. The tickets were in our Ticketmaster account in January. The week of the concert in August, we logged in to our account, and tickets were not there. There is no customer service phone number to contact Ticketmaster. The customer service via e-mail is the most horrible. No tickets and no money. We lost $600. We will never do business with Ticketmaster again!
This company is a joke! Over charge for the service of providing tickets, yet doesn't have a user friendly customer service option, won't refund during COVID, and the website is awful! Save money, time, and sanity, buy your ticket direct from the venue!
My email was lost, my credit card had been cloned so I had destroyed it. I could not get access to my concert tickets. I rang their helpline and they very quickly sent me an email attaching the tickets. Excellent service.
They are the absolute worst spent $800 on "certified resale" tickets on ly for them to never show up when I contacted ticketmaster they said they would have them mailed in 3 to 5 business days never happened today is the day of the show and I'm home because they $#*!ed me around all week.
When we clicked on the seats it said we would pay $25 per ticket. Then at checkout it said each ticket was $45. We still wanted to go to the show so we continued. As we continued on the checkout page we ended up getting another $24 service charge per ticket. Now we are up to $69 per ticket. We ended up purchasing because we had already committed to friends that we were going. A day later, I got charged another $9 per ticket for insurance. A show that should have cost us near $50 ended up costing us $156. Absolute crap.
How is that ticketmaster has no competition and provides the worst customer service and unreliable access to bought tickets! They must know organizations like universities to allow them to sell their tickets like they snow consumers... Could not get to my account to get mu tickets, website did not work to get digital tix... Took 45 minutes to get thru to a human to fix the system problems... Why doesn't ticketmaster have competition? Consumers are forced to do business with them and often have a very stressful experiences... Horrible ticketmaster!
I avoid this website at all costs. It's nice and they do get you the tickets, however, all the fees that you get almost match the price of the ticket itself. They have a big monopoly of ticket sales and take advantage of it.
Delivery charge?! How hard is it to email something?
Service charge? Fine.
Processing charge? Isn't that what the service charge is? Ridiculous.
I searched for.concerts for Eric Clapton. This site was the first to show do I thought it was the site for event organizers. They are s bloody broker. The tickets were supposed to be $113 each. So $226. The amount posted to my credit card was over $450!. The price did not show US funds at all. The exhange rate is just not that high! NOT IMPRESSED!
I have been trying to buy Train tickets, for the Austin, Texas show for 3 nights. I have gone through the TicketMaster website and jumped through all the hoops 16 times. I choose 4 seats. I put in my credit card. I choose to add a parking pass. I decline the ticket insurance. Then, I am told that the tickets are not available any longer. Same process 16 times. No help email. No help "bot". I thought TicketMaster wanted to sell tickets. Apparently not. Oh, same story with the Train website. No one to contact... and, Train website just sends me to TicketMaster.

My friends and I brought three tickets for a concert and never received our tickets because the tickets that they sold us actually didn't exist and even though we got a refund it just wasted our time and almost wasted $390 dollars, like how do you screw up that badly? It took five emails and three phone calls for them to tell us that we weren't actually getting the tickets, worst day ever I'd say.
Waited in queue for 15 minutes. Got to queue. Spent 15 minutes selecting 3 tickets, only to be told AFTER being showed tickets and selecting the 20 times and going through CC process that 3 is too many, because this dumb site didn't know that when I asked for three. Can I change the number requested? Of course not, that wouldn't be stupid and everything about ticketmaster is dumb. Kicked out of my place, back in queue and of course now there are no tickets available. Screw you ticketmaster you suck almost as bad as Donald Trump.
I would rate them a zero however that was not an option!. My app or account does not work. I have had the inconvenience of standing in line at the will call window at a concerts to get let in. The promoted option of transferring a ticket to someone does not work. When I was sick the option of selling my ticket (I wanted face value) was not available. No one at Ticketmaster could help me - they have my money and do not care!
I recently attempted to cancel a ticket purchase for a concert scheduled for the end of March, realizing my mistake within five minutes of buying - I ALREADY HAVE TICKETS! So now I have duplicate tickets and a lot of money to pay. Despite the event being more than three months away, Ticketmaster's strict no-cancellation policy left me unable to rectify the error. This lack of flexibility and understanding for such a timely regrettable purchase was disheartening. I hope Ticketmaster reconsiders their cancellation policy to accommodate genuine mistakes made promptly after purchase. Customer service should be more accommodating, especially for events so far in the future."
Sold my 2 tickets to a football game in October of 2013 on their site. It is now December 2013 and I have yet to see a dime of the money. I am Canadian so they say they can't verify my account but no where on the site does it say you must have an american bank account to sell the tickets. Anyways I have been on the phone with them 5-7 times and nobody there knows what the hell is going on and nobody can get me my money. I have emailed them at least 12 times and I get responses that you have to verify your account even though I explain to them in every email what the problem is. They are absolutely the most brain dead customer service people I have ever encountered and the worst part is there is no accountability at all. Nobody is taking my problem and even attempting to solve it.
My advice, if you have tickets to sell, always do it on Stubhub. You always get your money no issues at all. I will never use ticketmaster again to sell tickets.
March 18 of this year I was rushed to the emergency room. I had two brain surgeries to save my life. It took awhile to recover but thank GOD I am much better than I was. I had bought me and my husband concert tickets to see a gospel concert, after I could write I reached out to ticket master to explain my situation. I didn't want a refund but asked them could I get credit to see another concert in the future. The representative told me I should have sold the tickets, now mind you the day before the concert I was rushed to the hospital at the door of death and her response was I should have sold the ticket. My husband was devastated and definitely not thinking about selling the tickets. I just think they should have definitely treated me better than they did. Me and my husband have been to at least a half dozen concerts through ticket master and got nothing back in return. Its just bad that people in the world have no heart.
These people are crooks, They overcharged me by 100.00 per ticket. I purchased them the first day they came on sale a8 Months in advance.
The venue called the day of the concert and told me that I had purchased cheap seats and that they were giving me a free upgrade. The upgrade consisted of a front & center ticket for 100.00 less per ticket. This company is a rip off!
I paid for Cancellation Insurance and Ticketmaster dropped it from my account. Now we have Covid, can't go to the event on Sunday, and Ticketmaster is ignoring my emails and attempts to communicate in the chat. We are out over $1000. I will never buy tickets from Ticketmaster again and highly recommend you decide if your event is really worth the headache of working with Ticketmaster.
I purchased tickets for a show that occurred on December 9 at the Kia forum in Los Angeles. The Red Hot Chili Peppers were a part of that show and they had an emergency and postponed their performance until March 2. Ticketmaster is refusing to issue the tickets to me, the buyer of StubHub tickets, even though they re-issued the original tickets to me. Essentially, I have no access to the March 2 show, and in fact, the original buyers can resell the tickets a second time if they want to. This is very frustrating and disappointing.
Answer: I had this exact same problem and after multiple attempts to contact TicketMaster customer service still haven't been able to get this issue resolved. Have been getting the runaround from TM "Fan Support" via Twitter for a week and a half now (PS - Twitter was the only avenue for contacting TM customer service where I actually got a response from someone - had also tried their toll free Cust Svc phone number and got a recording saying that phone number isn't being monitored; also tried emailing their Cust Svc email account and got auto-reply saying that isn't being monitored either and directing me to their Cust Svc FAQs which say that in order to reach Cust Svc, you need to log into your account - but of course I was blocked from being able to do that because they think I'm a bot). Good luck with this - hope you can get a response from them. I still haven't been able to get any resolution of this same issue with my TM account. Once I get this resolved, I'll never do business with them again!
Answer: No, mine was a price jump
