I purchased a crimper and they did not work, you do not receive phone calls any more so I emailed multiple time and never got a response. I now look at other suppliers instead of TD because of this reason, still want to return the crimper for refund.

I actually had a product number serial code of the pool I wanted but when I spoke to a customer rep he said it was out of stock. I went back a second time and still had no luck with the wrap. I finally found the rod myself and place my order online

Would have rated 5-stars if the order process gave some indication that I was doing this via my account login. I'm not confident that my rewards points will reflect this purchase.

That said, the reels came sooner than expected. I'm excited to get these spooled with line and in use. And yes, the points are there. Changed rating to 5-stars.

There was some glitch with the shipping system when I initially placed this order. After contacting customer service, they were unable to force the shipment, but instead placed a new order for me at no charge for the same items which arrived the next day. I did actually receive the original shipment eventually, but was given a return tag to send it back. TackleDirect's customer service is always top notch.

I made order #736358 on 7-1-19
July 13, 2019

I made order #******* on 7-1-19. It is now 7-13-19 and I have still not received my order and I cannot get information online from TD about the order. I called customer service on 7-6-19 they did not tell me why my order information was unavailable but did say my order would be received early next week. Now 7 days later nothing... I should have ordered from Bass Pro Shops

Tackle Direct is a great fishing tackle store and web business that carries a variety of items which make for a diverse shopping experience in contrast to box stores that carry all the same tackle. Their large, friendly staff is always willing to help out when in the store. Locally, they are a compliment to the area and are worth driving out of the way for as a destination fishing store.

The items I needed for a fishing trip in Florida was unavailable and had to be shipped later. I was unable to get an accurate shipping date so I cancelled it. It arrived anyway 6 days late. I had to buy locally In Florida to use during the trip and now I have two sets. When items are shipped directly or delayed. A more accurate idea of arrival would be appreciated.

June 5, 2019

New product- had to wait for vendor to ship new reel before Tackle Direct could ship to me. They kept me posted on progress. Received 2 days before Trigger Fish season opened, caught several nice fish and Red Snappers this past weekend.

Purchased a rod real combo, rod originally was broken on delivery, returned and within a week had a replacement rod. Love my new combo. Now i wish they would close the Bonnet Carre' spillway so i could go and catch some fish.

Had a friend loan me a shirt after I got burned in The Florida Keys. I wore that shirt every day I stayed there. Kept my skin from burning more and allowed me to get back out in the sun. I ordered it right when I got home. Great product. Want to purchase several more

Ordering was routine
June 7, 2020

Ordering was routine. Click, click, click done. What stood out was TD had some gear that tackle stores in San Diego County did not. That's saying something. The only hitch was I charged shipping when I should not have been. As soon as this was brought to the attention of TD, the issue was resolved.

Please don't put stuff showing as 'in stock' if you do not actually have it available and ready to ship out. It is very misleading. I unfortunately had to miss a fishing trip because the fishing pole that I ordered wasn't available and it took about a month to receive. You guys have great quality product but the waiting time was ridiculous.

Tackle direct is great

Tackle direct is great. I've been a customer for over a year now. Normally has everything I'm looking for at good prices. The delivery time is pretty quick. I've only had one minor problems since I've used this site, my last order had one item out of stock (I was emailed about it but wasn't told which item it was and didn't give me a choice as of what to do with it). But I sent an email to customer service and they were very cooperative and helped me out and once everything was sorted out I got everything within a few days. Would definitely continue to use tackle direct.

Tackledirect is a good place to buy and get information on quality merchandise if you're not sure of what you need just ask an associate and they can direct you to the proper equipment for the fishing that you like

The order shipment was delayed

The order shipment was delayed. But it's understandable because it was due to covid19. The customer service went out of their way to make things right. Tackle Direct has excellent service and I'll definitely continue to give them my business.

Products ordered are delivered in reasonable time & good condition. Wish shipping was less, but I am a spoiled Amazon Prime member and TackleDirect has no recurring monthly fee.

I order two items on 23 June 2019

I order two items on 23 June 2019. I still haven't received my purchase. I tried calling three times and two of them I left my phone number after waiting 40 minutes. Needless to say, I never received a call back. I am highly disappointed in how their customer service is working or actually not working. BTW... my neighbor had the same issue with his order and when customer service finally contacted him about his order, he told them to cancel it because he went elsewhere to purchase what he was wanting. If this is an example of how things operate with TACKLEDIRECT, I have a feeling that the company is going to loose a ton on customers. I will have to say though, I order twice before and I had no issues in getting my order sent to me in a timely fashion. However, if there's an issue with my order for any reason, I expect to be able to talk with a representative of the company.
