Charged before sending your order to you. After trying the first order - we canceled but they had already taken our $80 from our credit card. Guess we are stuck with the next order but very disappointed so far with the first 2 meals we received. I can do better in the grocery stores. Too expensive - not good quality of food and tastes bland. Hello Fresh was far superior to this company.
We've been getting Sunbasket for the past five years and I have to say, we've never appreciated it more than we have during the pandemic. Knowing we have healthy, delicious, flavorful AF meals to look forward to at the end of an uncertain day has been a certain comfort.
Sunbasket makes an effort to provide the healthiest, most organic, most delightful, high cuisine options out there. And when you can't get to your favorite restaurant like in 'normal' times, this has been the best alternative we could possibly imagine. Thank you Sunbasket! We love you!

I ordered my 3 meals and was actually excited for them to come on Monday June 18, but they never showed up and they did offer me another week at the promotion. But then on June 19 it showed my meals came to my front door. Well it was not my door they were delivered to. So 2 nights in a row we depended on this box for our dinner with it not showing up. I work full time so it was a huge inconvenience to wait for nothing. Never again!

Love all the selections for different tastes and diets. Change up meals often so never boring. Fun spices and new flavors but not too weird. Love all the organic veggies and meat selections. Also love the extras I can order. Always fresh (occasional frozen veggie burns but not often) and delivered on time. LOVE that packaging is recyclable. Customer service has improved tremendously over past 2 years. Did awesome through the pandemic!
Surprised to find organic ingredients have been switched out for non-organic when I opened up my bag to start to cook tonight. No longer trusting this comany.

Sunbasket has been the worst experience I have ever experienced canceling a delivery service. After I had a written cancellation email from Sunbasket they proceeded to send and charge me for a new box at a cost of $50. I contacted them and they refused to reverse the charges. They said that I had logged back on after I cancelled and that triggered re-enrolling. I remember going back in to make sure I was not being sent another box. I guess this triggered re-enrollment. My credit card company is disputing the charges but beware of extremely shady conduct on Sunbasket's part.

My wife and I have been enjoying Sun Basket dinners for several weeks now, and we really like the menu selection, food quality and service. The food is fresh and tasty, all measured out and well-packed and labeled, with no waste on this end. We also enjoy chopping the vegetables and preparing the food together. Way to go, Sun Basket!
These meals are appetizingly pleasing. The price can be steep. However, the deal breaker for me is the delivery system. They are not obligated to notify the customer that their food has been delivered by simply ringing the bell... Consequently your food can sit in the sweltering sun for hours without you knowing it had been delivered. It would be nice to inform customers of this option before they buy the product..

I too am finding that at least one, sometimes 3-4, fresh items are rotten when I use them days after delivery. Some of the fresh vegetables and fruit are freezing in the iced package prior to delivery so they have lost their fresh quality. I've had to go to the store several times to replenish the fresh vegetables prior to cooking a meal. Sort of defeats the entire subscription and cost. I plan to cancel too.
I signed up for three meal plan and my meals did not come with enough ingredients. For example, for the flat bread there was not enough paste and i could not purchase that paste anywhere else... so about half meal went into trash. I also had difficult time canceling service, you have to call to cancel and be under high sales pressure.

I did not recieve my first offer as promised. I am still waiting for my package. I have no idea what the food Tastes like and in all likelihood the food wil be delivered partially thawed and no good. My experience with Hello Fresh has been so much better than Sun Basket. My suggestion is pick a company other than Sun Basket!

Spilled ingredients, unripe or rotting produce, everything dumped in a paper bag so all ingredients are mixed together and ruining each other. Menus seem okay but in the two weeks we have been with this company we have yet been able to make a meal as directed as two or more ingredients have been missing or damaged.
We haven't had a bad meal yet. Everything is high quality. I love the convenience of having the meals delivered to my home and not having to buy anything special. Everything is together and ready to prep and make. I work a lot and this saves time and provides homemade meals.
The only downfall is not getting to select a delivery date. Mine are delivered on Wednesdays and I'd rather have them on Mondays because weekdays are mainly when I need/use them.

The food that we get from SunBasket is wonderful and I like that there are so many choices. I am eating gluten and dairy free and there are plenty of great meals to choose from. Also, the customer service is great.
I've been ordering a Sunbasket box almost every week for over a year. I love them! The meals are delicious, the calorie counts are reasonable and the portions are huge. I have had a few delivery issues here and there but their customer service is amazing and always resolves my issues quickly.
I will say I love their cold weather packaging, I wish there was a way for less waste in their warm weather packaging, but I appreciate how mindful there are of packaging in general.
The recipes sounded exciting, so I took a break from my usual food delivery service to try Sun Basket. The food was not cold when it arrived and I was home for both deliveries and able to bring inside immediately. In the first delivery the produce was not fresh and the salmon was too fishy to eat safely. The second delivery had old, white crusted snap peas, black mint, wet, brown scallions and old udon noodles that stuck to the bottom of the pot in a big hard glob and had to be tossed. Wanted to love this.

Great recipes and love the option for Paleo- I would like to see Keto and/or low carb added. Only complaint is sometimes in item of produce in the bag is spoiling already. ( had it happen 2 times so far). We are impressed by the tastes of the meals- my husband thinks he has a chef now. I do wish there was more proteins in each meal- I usually go get an extra chicken breast or pork chop or fish etc to make it a little bigger.

After I missed the cutoff for the delivery for the following weekend noticed they selected food that I don't eat at all I reached out to them five days before delivery to cancel or at least swap the items and they would not accommodate my request. They sent me stuff I didn't want and I did not want to pay for and they didn't care. 5 days is sufficient amount of time for a company to get it together to change a delivery and satisfy a customer but they just offered $20 credit toy account even after I requested to cancel the service and they said that was all they could do. It's very unprofessional and bad customer service. They need to get it together and hire more people to be able to change an order in such advance notice. They are very unresponsive to their emails too. It takes them quite some time to respond. Never will use them again!
I really really really want to love SunBasket because I'm totally dependent on a meal delivery kit but two weeks of thrown out salmon is getting ridiculous. Last week the salmon juice leaked all over the entire box leaving it inedible and this week it arrived warm, MUSHY and smelly atrocious. Ughghgg.
