What I like best about Skillshare.com is it's easy to find and keep track of what it
Is you are learning. For example coding languages are all groups together, easy to
Get to and a course or track as it's called is simple to get back to. There are also
One off videos within libraries to watch which is nice.

Full refund given
June 7, 2018
Updated review

I e-mailed them and I was given a full refund within days, thank goodness I can now breathe.
Lesson learned, always check the reviews, cancel on time and read all the terms and conditions.
I give them 5 stars because of the costumer service and how quickly they resolved me.

Hi Diana — Thank you for updating this review to reflect your experience with our Customer Support Team! I'm so glad we were able to help you out, and I hope you'll consider trying Skillshare again in the future.

Got signed up for 2 months for basically free, I was thinking of using the service monthly since school ended and I have more free time, I thought I had that option, but no, they automatically charged me for the premium membership and taking my money without authorization. I took a few side jobs so I could make ends meet. Who needs food, when you can take a class on how to prepare it? Already e-mailed them, I hope I can get a full refund.

They charged my account for 91. I can see that my story is no different from all this reviews. After sending them various e-mails and trying to reach them regarding my problem I got no answer at all. I never subscribed to this site and I explained my problem in all my e-mails and they are not answering. I'm a student and I can't afford this kind of money and especially for site I'm not going to use nor did I ever used it before. I'm hoping at least for the answer and explanation.

I asked them politely and nicely to refund me my money as I never even watched a video on skillshare and because I am in need of money and that I can not afford to pay the amount for skillshare. I received a heartless automated response saying stuff like: "As were aware that the trial can pass quickly especially when youre learning a bunch of new stuff..."

Guys I have not even used your service so how do you assume that I was learning a bunch of new stuff?

Horrible experience. I would've considered skillshare in future plans but now I am just extremely disappointed by their communication.

Stay away! Cheers

Well-stocked with a wide array of classes to take and interact with.

I love the curated workshops, and the classes to learn how to create your own Skillshare class.

The price is very reasonable, especially the full year, and the class lengths are totally manageablefull of information, but not so long that you feel as though you should prepare for a mid-term.

I hope this message will be viewed by somebody from Skillshare. As most of Skillshare members, I forgot about the end of the trial period. To put it more precisely, they promised to email me when the trial period is about to end. I was billed $99 for the annual subscription. After making the request for a refund (I can make one for a refund within a week after the sum was charged), I was charged the second time and again $99. In total, I lost $198! The company emailed me and asked to specify certain details. After I did, no answer followed. I highly hope that this message will be paid attention to.

I love Skillshare
May 28, 2019

I love Skillshare. There are classes in everything I am interested in and things I have yet to discover. Sometimes I just want to watch someone else paint, draw, etc. Sometimes I follow the class assignments. Both ways are a pleasure.

I have enjoyed my classes on Skillshare and have learned a lot in the process. I am a beginner so it was very helpful to me and the instructors were great at explaining everything. Love the classes and will continue them.

We're using Skillshare.com across the whole organization as a tool
For our employees to develop themselves both professionally and
Personally.
It is well suited for outside the classroom training. It has business
Related courses and non-related courses enabling a company to
Provide developmental opportunities for employees on a personal
Level.
It is less appropriate for classroom trainings as the videos are not
Always tailored towards policy enforcement and training exercises.

I have found Skillshare to be an amazing resource. I am an art and design teacher also and I think teachers can be quite critical on their expectations of quality teaching. I cannot fault Skillshare and their teachers. I recommend all my friends and contacts who are looking for courses on various art techniques to check Skillshare out.

I have been taking classes on Skillshare for over a year now and I love it. The teachers are very supportive and engaging, and you can find a class on almost any topic you're interested in learning. As someone with a very limited amount of time to watch classes, I like that I can watch a lesson a day (depending on the class, sometimes more) and I can pause and come back or if it's something more complicated I can come back and do the same lesson to practice a few times. I absolutely love Skillshare and highly recommend it!

I signed up for trial and used the site, did not find what I was looking for but forgot to cancel my account and got charged for it. I contacted them to refund me but they kept telling me "we sent you the reminder mail etc.". I told them that I did not get it and kindly asked for a refund. They offered me a new subscription with %40 discount. If you registered yourself with a credit card, I'd recommend to cancel that credit card and renew it since they got the number and they can charge it anytime they want.

Hi

I was told if u are instructor, u get paid money after reaching a limit of people joining your course, and then when the limit reached, they said i have to refer people to get paid, what a scam. They have been using my skills and service to make money, not to pay the instructor or teacher.

I am teaching myself to code in order to launch a web presence for my future business. I would like to add a secondary skill set, which will serve my business without outsourcing. I am still in the process of training with SkillShare.

How is it a scam
September 29, 2018

Hi. I have been reading all these reviews and it is sad how people do things. Now they tell you that once your trail is up your will be charge. How simple is that. I did a free special on something and I called the people and cancel to and did not get charge. Skill Share is a very nice place to learn. I bet that the ones that are given bad reviews they are with another company. I had that done one time with a company I was with. Do not lie just to get someone to come over to your site that is bad business
